  1. I say an unresounding, YES. Your writing style is a joy to read and as a fellow journalist I can honestly say it would be a pleasure to read of your adventures.
  2. Not sure if anyone has posted this... Basically its a list of questions asked by "nerds" at PAX. The Pickpocketing and Smithing perk trees are listed fully in here aswell, so knock yourself out :) http://nerdtrek.com/skyrim-answers-bethesda/
  3. In reply to the very first posts, the sun damage will not matter so much in Skyrim, due to the wide ranging variety of environments such as the volcanic tundra's, etc. I think as vampire's we will be able to live in environments where the sun isnt so bright thus causing not as much sun damage and allowing new pathways for better and bigger quests in that area. But then again the werewolf idea sounds fantastic, and is going to be a great attribute for hunters and warrior classes. Any news on the idea for poisoning blades and arrows etcetera?
  4. Did anybody else notice Todd's eyes at 00:47? He was checking out that interviewers rack. Just thought I'd point that out. Anyways, any news yet on the alchemy system? Im excited to see what kind of instruments we are able to use as characters to make potions etcetera, wether its the same old mortar/pestle or wether we get a much more realistic style of Alchemy, such as chopping and drying herbs, planting our own herbs and ingredients and physical animations showing the making of the potion.
  5. Nobody posted this yet? Dunmer on the cliff outside Bleak Falls Barrow. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6124/6035520155_decb25caf1_b.jpg
  6. Its all very well and groovy that weve seen the Dunmer, but how about the Character Creation screen itself? I want to know the certain special customization for each race, like earrings or scars or facepaint or w/e. Any news on this?
  7. Is anyone playing unhealthy amounts of Oblivion/Morrowind/Fallout 4/ Any other Bethesda Games leading up to Skyrim? I havent slept in days.
  8. I would definetley love to see some kind of mythical monster, a beast with loads of lore to either surrounding villages or towns that make it an even scarier battle depending on its legend. Im specifically looking forward to seeing what types of lake and river monsters there are, mudcrabs or slaughterfish and that kind of thing, Perhaps even a serpent of some kind, something Nordic and tribal.
  9. Lmao, Argonians do look like amphibious retards. However, I believe Bethesda will improve their look drastically for Skyrim, now that you mention it did anyone see that fan-made Argonian head? Heres something completely off topic, does anybody know about the possibility of sea-monsters? Like how mudcrabs, bolliwogs and slaughterfish attacked you every time you swam underwater, will there be an even larger nemesis for Skyrim? Possibly a leviathan of some kind or a dragon-type sea serpent that you have the option to find and kill? (Nessie like quest). So many questions...
  10. Making arrows? Jizztastic. And what do you mean "Rarity of arrows in Skyrim"? Shouldnt there be an abundance?
  11. Basically a demo could go both ways, either it is hailed as the greatest encouragement to play Skyrim or it puts players off forever due to the misinterpretation of what the Elder Scrolls V will really be like. I think its too much of a hassle, pretty sure Bethesda has more pressing issues to worry about. Anyone have any more pressing news?
  12. Larp (Live action role-playing) gatherings such as fairs and carnivals are amazing. This would be such a good idea, can you imagine fighting in a REAL arena? Yelling "FUS ROH DAH!!!!!" at the top of your lungs and watching your opponent fly backward? Would be too epic for words.
  13. It's harder to make a TES Demo, unless they only let you play in one dungeon, which would give you a false impression of an open world RPG. ;) The reason is exactly that it's open world, in which a demo would demand a lot of work for the developers to make, instead of spending said resources on making the actual game. It's possible, but much harder than for "closed off" worlds. That and if it were simply a timed demo of the game then it could be garunteed a majority of the games secrets would be discovered before the games release. Not to mention the amount of people who would play the demo and become instantly hooked on Skyrim. Bethesda could possibly use a Demo like a propaganda tool? Bring back the gamers lost to COD and so forth. Can you imagine the amount of people who would download the demo and play it, then immediately pre-order? They would number in the thousands, Bethesda could theoretically build a larger fanbase with a demo, but however upper comments are true. Why waste time on a demo when you could be improving the final game itself? :)
  14. If only, If only they made a "Multiplayer" Skyrim, we could wreak unending havoc on the vampires and undead that disgrace our world with their presence. Im keen to see if crossbows are included in the game, aswell as religious items, such as sacraments of the nine divines, special crucifixes etcetera. However I am even more excited to experience the new "Alchemy" that Skyrim has been told to have. Apparentley (According to Todd), Skyrim's new Alchemy system is extremley realistic! Complete with ingredients able to be both raw and uncooked, which follows on to the Cooking ability. Forums thoughts on this?
  15. I really cant wait to see this when leaked. I want my character to be scarred, perhaps on the right side of her face? Something that marks her toughness and brutality but doesn't take away her beauty. Warpaint will be an amazing feature, especially if over time it wears off and can be changed at certain venues i.e Barbers, Appearance change NPC's etcetera. I want to know if Bethesda has included jewellery in the character creation menu, as Oblivion and indeed Morrowind had special jewlerry such as earrings for Orcs and hairbands for Altmer. Im a HUGE fan of jewellery as an accessory in games and the fact that it can have its own lore. I want to see a wide variety of possible accessory's for characters that each tell describe their origin in the world of Tamriel, as in the look and the style and possible carving of the jewellery itself.
  16. I play as a real life situation, therefore I would brutally kill anyone who crossed me, taking their items for my own and so on.
  17. Would definetley love to see Beer making an appearance in the realm of Skyrim. Imagine walking into a bar, sitting on the stool and ordering a tankard of mead while some pretentious bard sings woeful songs out of tune on his lyre by the open, roaring log fire. Is almost too awesome to comprehend.
  18. Hopefully in Skyrim there is some sort of system based on item value and wether or not the Shopkeeper will buy said item. I mean, Skyrim claims to have better Ai in all round usage of the game, so shoudlnt that mean that Shopkeepers now have a specific type of item they will buy/sell and wont buy/sell items that dont correspond with their job. For example, Im visitng Vaargh the Blacksmith, and I am buying a sword, I cannot sell my freshly picked Nirnroot as he is a blacksmith and what use would he have for that?
  19. Greetings fellow inhabitants of Tamriel. The age of SKYRIM is upon us, and we are the hero's who control its destiny. Introduce yourself, I am ElvenPLugg, a female ranger type wood elf with the abilities of marksmanship, alteration maguic, dual weilding daggers and the blessing of invisibility (thief class I presume). I am waiting to experience the hunting in SKYRIM and the many armour and weapon types. I hope this game is as visually realistic as It proves to be in the trailers and I look forward to exploring the world and what it has to offer.
  20. Female forest elf ranger. Hopefully there are good jewellery options for facial construction of the character (hence the name).
  21. Hopefully the quick key is included for dual wielding, i.e When switching from bow to double daggers there is a specific slot to join dual wielding to solo weilding, if you catch my drift?
  22. I will be a Wood Elf ranger, born of the forest specialising in marksmanship, dual weilding dagger combat and alteration magic.
  23. Im looking forward to some realistic wilderness armour, something to blend in with the forest while I stalk the wolves with my bow and hunt the wild animals. Really keen to see what things Bethesda has in store for the real life players of the game, larper freaks like me haha.
