you could use NMM to manage your mods, that if you don't dl them from Steam Workshop Simply uninstall your mods when finish your session ( it takes a couple of minutes) and install them again before playing. Same for his mods. Or you can try making a back-up of all your skyrim folder. ( more time consuming)

What are people entitled to? Entitled by whom? Nature? It does not entitles anything to anybody. Not even survival. Humans? Society? Completely arbitrary, and in tone with the times we live in. Are we entitled to life, equal chances, pursuit of happiness? No one and no law can guarantee those to us. So, i'd say we're entitled to anything we can get/grab/steal and can keep for ourselves.

this is how i solved the problem, by extracting manually the content of the archive and putting in Data folder. By the way, FOMM is telling me that Something bad seems to have happened. and closes as soon as i try to open it. I think is one of those days... :wallbash:

After downloading FOOK-Required File with NMM, when trying to activate it, it appears a message : Failure A problem ocured during install. Exception of type "System.Out.Of.memory.Exception" was thrown. The mod was not installed. And of course it does not install the mod. Any advice please? I had an older version of Fook installed and it worked ok. Edit : found same problem in mod's comment section, and possibly the solution

Well, i gave Amalur a shot. Played to lvl 15 or something. With tons of breaks. This being a subjective point of view, but besides combat, it has nothing to keep me interested any longer. On the other hand, i started playing Skyrim around X-mas, and i played only Skyrim for a month and a half ( this being 1 and 1/2 play-throughs), after which i got my fill of it. Besides comparing Skyrim to Amalur, i get the feeling that there's something missing from most modern RPGs. Can't pinpoint what exactly, but sometimes i think STALKER is more RPG than... idk, whatever passes as RPG nowadays. And it's not about graphics, bugs, hellish controls or sheer scope of the fantasy world created in the games. Not even the story. Just the impression that there should be something more. I miss the old timers like MM6, Gothic 1 and 2, Fallout, BG and so on. Enough ranting and nostalgia. What if it's not the games who are at fault, but myself? LE: I'd rather play Alien Shooter than Amalur :tongue:

i'm playing W2 on a 8800GT GPU, E8400 w/ 4 gb ram, low to medium quality , and my FPS stays above 25 most of the times ( 30 usually), so i'd say that it's not the GPU. And then, with your other specs, don't know what else could it be. Maybe try a defrag on your game partition...

Default skyrim bodies look terrible, body mod + armor for that body makes the chars look waaaay better. You dont have to be running around naked to get use out of a body mod. somehow you missed my point what i meant is that someone's must have is not necessarily other-one's and that was only an example maybe i should add /irony after my remark //irony :whistling:

i hate jerkiness in a game much more than low graphical quality, so i go for the maximum quality that lets me play a smooth game. this means at least 20fps for me.

and besides, who could know what mods you'd like ? a must have could contain "naked females with large male genitalia" for example :tongue:

of course, you can always install some mods that make use of otherwise useless bones

there is a certain beauty to anime style, unfortunately it doesn't quite fit with skyrim as it is. now, a mod that would change all npcs in skyrim, with armors and weapons included, that would be something and, everything being anime, who could say it's not lore :whistling:

i've almost watched the movie sadly, it's too long and repetitive, and it fells short of epic some opinions ( from a personal point of view): - make it shorter, 5 mins max - try to include only the parts you like the most, so it looks not like a walkthrough - don't overuse slow-motion camera - skip the parts where nothing happens, except for those with scenic value with some careful editing i think it has what it takes to come close to epic i'll expect a new improved version of your work :thumbsup:

So, best i can do when i stumble upon this mods is just go to the next one. Thrashing the author or the mod serves no one. ( i must admit the comments sometimes are fun to read, esp. for that Dick Sword mod, and so were the pics :rolleyes: ) For those who like anime, go for it. Just dont ask for respect. It's a bit to much. For those who don't, please don't try to ruin others peoples fun. That's also a bit too much.

I'm trying to modify the effects drinks have, using CK. I can find the drinks in the Magic-Potions categories, and i added some effects like drugged or other from the Effect Item list, but i'd like to add some effects that are not in that list,like decrease speech, or some disease-like types ( rockjoint ). Also i wonder if its possible to add delayed effects, for ex. starting after one effect has finished. oh, and i noticed the Addiction tab, under Addiction chance check-box. What does it do? It seems that there is no option related in the list. If i'm not clear enough please tell so i'll try explain better what i want to do. Help? :unsure:

as i see it, not only Nexus will not loose its regular users to SW, but it will gain some more due to the same SW most people seem to believe it Nexus vs SW i think it is Nexus and SW, and actually SW is making Nexus a favor by popularizing the mods to those previously unaccustomed to them really, why should be a choice between one or the other? i get my mods where i can find them, and my first step is usually moddb dot com. From there i get to sites like Nexus, or other specific game modding community. So, Steam has SW. SO what? A smart player will use SW, Nexus, moddb and any other location that offers what he's looking for. It's really a pointless topic. IMHO.

If anyone makes this mod, they'd better offer the option of marrying a troll, as i got the feeling the trolls would make better spouses :tongue:
