I hate spiders in real life..... I go to ridiculous lengths to get them out my room/ house.... (air rifles have been used...) but I've never run away from em in a game... did in `Xena Warrior Princess` on PS1, when I was about 9- but they looked like the spiders we get in my country (the only one that's big, happens to be terrifying, and really fast...) But skyrim spiders look kinda cuddly imo... I liked the one in the dark brotherhood sancutry....

Love the city or Markath... but also really like the tundra around whiterun for it's hunting oportunitys, and I've still not even been to a couple of the cities!

It doesn't take long to do that yourself, and the sense of achievement would be so much great, if it was all your own work- so do it yourself, you can also choose how you look then too!

I love the 1st person ones... they look great- 3rd person ones however, are a total imersion killer, look and sound stupid, and just annoy me.

49 hours.... Not played much during week- first 30 or so were in first weekend I had it, created a assassin/ thief... first char so some mistakes and what not, and created a 2 hand wielding heavy armour clad ork smith... who's allot of fun... and nigh on un-killable. Will create another stealth char at some point, where I really know what to spec in (no destruction or restoration!) And at some other point, I'll make a one handed and shield wielding guy, and then of course my `fun` guy, who i'll cheat on and get every skill and perk, and instant level 70 or so.

Where's the fun in running away? I prefer being able to stab people repetedly with shiny weaponry...

I got one soon after turning in a fugitives loot... figured that may have something to do with it.

Seem's I'm just a noob then! I'm going to use some console hacks to re-distrebute some perks on my assasin... take them all out of destruction and lockpick, buff light Armour, same goes for stats- take some out of magica, add to endurance...

I hardly ever play females in sword fighting games, and rarely in others... It just looks bizzare to see some tiny calander model woman swining about a huge sword and cutting up orks... when someone of her stature couldn't even lift the fecking sword in reality- I tend to try and re-create a cooler version of myself, who's more athletic (or he wouldn't be picking up a sword either!) It's why I don't like J/K RPG's Everyone a 12yr old girl, unless they are either old or evil. (or both).

While skyrim has many flaws... I really like the perk system, it gives actual insentive to leveling up skills as opposed to `+2% damage each level` with a funny little trick every 50 levels or so.

I play adept on everything, but some times (only on thief, when there's a really hard fight I've died over 10 times on, I take it down to novice, take out a couple of the enemy's, then put it back the adept- games are supposed to be fun, and getting raped over and over isn't.

Hi When I got the game (on release) I made a stealthy character, who also does restoration magic, but focuses on archery and one handed... I was bored today, so made an ork- heavy armour, smithing, and 2 handed swords... I was amazed how easy combat was with the ork- I just wandered in, swung my sword, and everyone died, he's only level 4- but even now I'm one shoting most average enemys! I'v heard that stealth gets OP when sneak reaches 100- but so far, melee battles have been a trial for my stealth char, with lots of restoration spells needed (no points in light armour though, and that's what he wears) anyone else noticed this? Or am I playing the wrong way (duel wielding with stealth, getting sneak crits first... one shot guys like that)

Stop your wining. The game is still fine, your save has been corrupted, which must suck- and I'm annoyed as you are at Bethesda messing about with the .exe to stop pirates- and you can't... I know that very, very well. But the game world, and all the fantastic little details that Bethesda have created, is still there- and awesome. It will only get better, with thousands of mods! So while your waiting for your game to get fixed... make a new, different character- and experience this (far from perfect) game, in another way.

Sounds really good! Although I'm hoping I'll be able to pick and chose what aspects are in my game- I like the combat stuff, and weather stuff etc... other bits I don't have time/ patience for.

I really like my dark elf... Looks like how I imagined Kengas Khan to look (before I discovered he was 5.6 and very Asian looking) I also quite like the wood elf look... don't look like the pretty boys they did before!

...that sounds awesome. But- have you ever stayed awake for 3 days, without caffeine, while running and steeling spoons/ Lidia's Armour all day? It's easier said than done!

I'm really looking forward to some blocking and `dodge` mods... in 1st person at least, dodge shouldn't be incredibly hard to do do it like a power atack, but either left, right or backwards, but I'v never modded an elder scrolls game, so can't be certain, as for in 3rd person... don't care. it's not a third person game. atm I never duel wield... out of stamina in seconds, defenseless always!

I feel bethesda really gimped the game on factions... They're all really short aside from generated missions, so there should be plenty of time to make a wearwolf clan, anti wearwolf clan (join the silver hand or whatever they're called) some vampire clans (perhaps 2 rival ones?) and a warlock/ necromancer group too! Some more Deadra stuff would be nice too! I can never be pleased. Ever.

nicely put... but medal of honor, metro 2033 (well it has amazing atmosphere... bad gameplay decisions though), and certainly crysis 2 (biggest let down in gaming imo) shouldn't be up there with the other fantastic games you listed! Personally... i feel that if morrowind had nicer graphics, better combat, and a few other 2011 features- it would blow skyrim out of the water... a combination of the two would be ideal... with a bit of borderlands in there!

just read what each perk does... Hints: You don't need to bother about duel wielding, or block ability- one arm damage is what you want, as far as magic goes- spec in destruction, and resotration. As for which branches of each- I like to get all the damage perks for fire soon, and obviously the perks with halve the magicka required for spells. For healing, get the ones which reduce magica, and improve healing efficeancy. Other than that, it's up to you!

I've never understood thanksgiving... You eat lots to celebrate lying to Indians... and the harvest? In my country `harvest` is marked by donating tins of sweetcorn/ prunes to poor people...

Dark elves lend themselves to the battlemage race, with their resistance to fire, and bonuses to one handed and destruction magic. Perk wise- heavy armour, one handed, destruction, heal, and perhaps enchanting and smithing?

I'm anoyed at the very existance of d pads after what's happened to the PC interface!

my god.... Was this created with blacksmithing and enchanting? Or is this a real weapon! I gotta get to lvl 50 if so... best I have at lvl 27 so far is `chillrend`
