  1. I've seen this question asked before... And I think fiddling with these monster zones might break the game. There is a very good reason why monsters such as drowners have a specific radius in which they stay in the first place. So say for example you are able to expand that radius 2x...what actual difference is it going to make to the game? I am genuinely curious. And remove those radius restrictions completely and you have a whole new set of problems such as drowners wandering outside their natural habitat... And from what I understand, this would be the only real solution to your proposed problem. At some point you are going to roll out of their zone, no matter how big it may be.
  2. Hi guys, I am very interested in editing the minimap and world map surfaces (mostly, I would like to desaturate the geography surfaces and generally enhance their appearance) BUT...I can't seem to locate these textures anywhere in the Uncooked data? Could someone point me in the right direction please?
  3. Because Ghost Mode is much more complex, fixes a lot of vanilla game bugs and not abandoned by its author (opposed to W3EE) THIS. Ghost Mode is actively being worked on by one of the very top modders for Witcher 3. There simply isn't any other mod doing anything similar that comes even close.
  4. Haha, "I'm not to drop below 60fps". I always find this quite funny...but I digress. The best Reshade you will find is E3FX. It has a number of different flavours to choose from. You can find it on the Nexus for Witcher 3. Aside from that, the only noteworthy mod that actually mods lighting in the game is Super Turbo Lighting Mod. The current version 2.2 is rubbish though. The mod author is reportedly working on version 2.3, but he's been doing so for about a year now so I wouldn't hold my breath. Lighting is very difficult to mod. One other mod you may want to check out is More Shadows, which adds a number of corrected shadows to objects, especially from light sources.
  5. I have the entire game uncooked from before the modkit broke and you could no longer uncook it. I can do diffuse textures but I've no knowledge of doing 3D modelling, which is what will be required here. I will gather the files and send it to you in the next 24 hours or so....
  6. Don't use NMM. It is VERY easy to install mods manually in Witcher 3, simple a case of copying in the mod folder and then running Script Merger.
  7. There is already a keybinding for auto movement. Have a look in your keybindings menu....isn't there?
  8. I've been searching in vain for any UI textures. Can't find them at all! No idea where they are hiding...
  9. One thing that really is not up to scratch in Witcher 3, is the poor poor quality LODs. So I was wondering....what would happen if we simply remove LODs and force the full textures to always be loaded? I know this will impact game performance, but is it possible to do? If someone knows if and how this can be achieved, I would love to know!
  10. I've been wanting something like this too, but I can't find the graphics anywhere in order to change any of it.
  11. There is no such mod in existence because it would break the game, which relies on these cut-scenes for progression. This is a story-driven game. If you want to avoid cut-scenes, you better just avoid doing any quests. Most likely, this is not the right game for you.
  12. Hi guys, I just released a mod that makes wood structures in Witcher 3 appear more weathered instead of yellow. However, I can't seem to find the "door" textures. I've been through all the texture files but I simply can't find them. And I need to find them so I can edit them to be uniform with the rest of the work I have done. I know they must be somewhere, I'm just confused as to where! Any help would be appreciated :) WalteriusMaximus
  13. This is the best environmental texture mod available. It does not touch lighting or shadows though. Only textures.
  14. I appreciate all the responses and suggestions, thanks guys! After trying everything without any success, I finally got to the bottom of it! I was using Nvidia's DSR and running the game at 3840x2160. As it turns out, this game does not scale well at all, causing everything to look fuzzy. When I turned my game resolution down to native 1080, the problem was resolved; at least, improved I should say. I still feel the textures lack sharpness, but this is easilt fixed using Reshade.
  15. I'm sure there are modders who will know how to do this, problem is, Witcher 3 modding has pretty much died down completely now...
  16. I did disable all graphical mods in my game but it made no difference. I will try fiddling with the in-game settings.... thanks for the suggestions.
  17. Sorry, I should have been clearer. It is probably best described as a complete lack of sharpness in the game. Everything lacks detail. It looks blurry. Whenever I see screenshots and videos on Skyrim SE, I become aware of how my game just don't look like that at all! It is really puzzling and I would really like to not have to re-install my game...
  18. OK....so you are easily discouraged. Is this a new discovery you have made about yourself? What you need to realize is that ALL modders receive criticism! Every. Single. One! So, what is the difference between the modder who keeps going and the one who takes down her mods after the first sign of negative feedback under the exact same social environment? And what do you think is going to change? I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that the community of gamers will NOT change. You will keep receiving negative feedback from some, no matter what mod(s) you produce! So that leaves you with 2 options; either you quit, or you stop being so sensitive about negative comments and focus instead on the positives. Cultivate some confidence in yourself. So what if half of the people don't like your mods? Any negative impact you experience is a reflection on your own insecurities. And you have the opportunity to change that! If modding makes you happy and you enjoy it, then KEEP DOING IT!
  19. Hi guys, I'm just wondering if this is normal, but my Skyrim SE graphics are very very fuzzy/blurry to the point where I really can't even see a lot of details without using Reshade and turning on Lumasharpen to the max. It seems really odd to me and I don't recall the original Skyrim having suffered this? I'm happy to keep using Reshade, but I just want other people's opinion about this. Thanks! WalteriusMaximus
  20. Use the mod "Absolute Camera". You can disable all custom camera settings, but only use FOV.
  21. I would also really love to know how to achieve this! Ideally, to simply remove them as I don't feel they add anything to the armor. If someone could provide clear instructions on how to do this, or provide a mod that completely removes them (I'm pretty sure it can be edited out in XML, but I have no idea how) then we would be eternally grateful!
  22. Maybe re-word your request? It is not the "art style", but the lighting you are most likely referring to.
