Right now I feel that if a modder feels he needs to make money for their mods let them I cant afford them because of real life so I wont buy them and I have donated to many modders from the beginning before CK and Arthmoor was one of them. Skyrim is just another game Ill put in moth balls and find something else.BUT what upsets me is this whole situation has caused a lot of modders who show a lot of promise to pull their mods for fear of theft(which if you go through steam you can find stolen mods)and a lot to pull their mods from both steam and Nexus because this whole thing upset them and they completely quit Skyrim. I believe its not us who should be paying modders like Arhmoor but Bethesda for making a broken game profitable by fixing it for free. Ill will miss Arthmoor,Chesko and many others whose mods I wont be able to afford but so be it. I have no ill will to any of them and wish them the best in their venture

Something Ive noticed hasnt been mentioned and that is if anyone should be paying modders for their mods it should be bethesda and valve, because without them all of bethesdas games would have crashed and burned. All their games were broken and the modders stepped up and fixed them and made them worth playing for free while because of this their games continued to sell. How long do you really think any of beths games would have lasted without the help of the modding community and now they want the modders to give them more. I feel they have conned the modders into thinking this was good for them when it truly is only good for valve and beth. So I dont blame the modders I blame Valve and beth because I believe they knew there was going to be a huge back lash from this and modders like Chesko have learnt that once they go to the dark side they are going to loose any control over what valve and Beth do with their mods.

I agree with FishBiter if the modders were getting the 75% and not Steam I would consider paying for mods like SMIM.The way they have it set up the modders dont really get anything for their hard work and like others have said alot of these mods depend on resources that are not theirs and wont work without them. I really wonder what the skse team think about this.
  5. I would really like to see a mod that helps Skyrim auto dump its excess memory instead of having to use pcb to help reduce bloating and crashes due to the game not always dumping memory.
  6. If you are like me and have ctds and have checked all your mods and load orders and nothing seems to work try this.I put steam in offline mode and played for 5 hours non stop with no ctds, then I restarted steam in online mode and crashed after 45 minutes and found the longest I could play was an hour and a half with out ctds, then I put steam in off line mode and played none stop for another 5 hours. Now during all of this I did use the pcb command to clear excess memory every now and again.
  7. Ever since I updated I have an issue with my map movement. I cant move my map north or south but east and west and other movements work fine and it doesnt matter if I use the vanilla map or a modded one any ideas. UPDATE:Found issue it turned out to be caused by the new HiAlgo Boost.Removed it now my map works fine,
  8. I found that I can cut down on my crash issues but putting pcb in the console every hour or two to clean up excess memory and can play almost crash free all day.
  9. Im having an issue with my map where I can no longer move north or south but still can go east and west and everything else any ideas.
  10. Is any one else not able to trade with Serana.I gave her new armor when I first got her as a follower, took it back to upgrade now when I try to trade with her every thing in my inventory is greyed out and I cant giver her any thing. She is the only follower I cant trade with and the only mod I have that affects her is Serana's Secret and I took it out and that didnt make any difference.
  11. Its not NMM its the Nexus having issues and they are working on it .You should have checked the announcements on the main page
  12. I brought up Mod Manager today and all my mods are showing no data anyone else having this issue.
  13. I had the same problem and it turned out to be a mod called ReVVamp. It changes it so your stronger when fed instead of starving and it also makes you hated when fed.
  14. If you read the news on the main page what happened is fully explained. The man who runs the show went on holidays thinking Dawnguard wouldnt be out till after he got back but they brought it out while he was gone and the Nexus got over loaded now hes is fixing it.
  15. When I first read what people said about it when it came out for the xbox I wasnt sure about it but then I took a chance and love it.It not only adds Dawnguard but I also found lots of changes to the regular Skyrim.
  16. I would like to see something to help with the memory bottle necks in the game I run an 8 core and when I play I watch my cpu meter and noticed the game only uses one core instead of it being spread out and get stutter.I run a 6950 2gig maximized to a 6970 video card.I get 58-60 fps in buildings and cities with no issue but when Im out in the country side even though Im getting 55 -60 fps I start getting stutter and that one core the game is using is maxed out. I have found that Bethesda games are the only ones that do this and people have made mods that help with this.As a test I played my Fear 3 with maxed out settings and it plays smooth as silk and all my cores are being utilized.
