  1. There's got be Rules. That's the rule. He who has the gold makes the rules. Golden Rules are always true, except when they are used against you.
  2. I Ban you because you went 'There and back Again'.
  3. The truest forms of evil do not at first appear fierce or threatening, but meek and pitiful. Through Sympathy and Guilt does evil beg for tolerance and a safe space with which to thrive and grow. Once grown and accepted within the system it grows ever faster, gaining power through a systematic elimination of opposition. By whatever means are at hand, real or imagined, which do not negatively impacts its influence. Then once positioned to take control of the levers of power, does Evil apply it's force and power to be revealed as the terrifying monstrous thing it always was.
  4. Depends on the person/group making the Mods. Some of them have a very specific profit motive and therefore bare rights to their 'art'. Otherwise any Mod Maker that gives permission to openly use their stuff expect nothing more than appreciation. The language used to make the mods is technically open source, anyone can start learning to use it without much investment beyond time. The question then is if Developers will support Mods on their game.
  5. The button is where it has always been, in the top-left. There's a play button on the game artwork. To Clarify then, we don't like that button, we liked the Dashboard Profile layout of the game where we could hit play from there, before. We can not do that at all anymore, it was removed with apparently no option to facilitate that view back the way it was. As a side point. I used the Dashboard for nothing else. I do not know why the Dashboard is even there. I do not want or care about Vortex Add On's or Updates. As an alternative, I would like to eliminate the Dashboard completely if I can not use it to launch games from. It serves no practical purpose for my interest anymore.
  6. Basically this sums it up why we don't have such a thing. A "dead" mod (i.e. something that hasn't been updated in 10+ years) could still work fine, so there's no way to programmatically determine if a mod is outdated and relying on some kind of voting system is open to abuse. Not if it "doesn't work", huge difference between a mod that works 10 years later and mod that doesn't work. But I get it, clicks and downloads for a broken mod trump player frustration. Well again.. The problem is not the Mod, it's your game version. Its not very common, yet not an uncommon problem either. If your game can not be loaded to an earlier version, that is a separate disappointment. Another which you are not alone in experiencing. However, if it can be then I would assume the Mod should work. Ya know that reminds me, sometime the issue isn't that the Mod doesn't work, it's simply a matter of updating the code so it will even try to install with the Game now because of the version number. It them becomes a matter of learning how to get in there to 'fix it' yourself manually, or recruit another Modder to look into it (results vary wildly). (Side Note: Apologies for the quote, it was not the one intended. Editor Im used to Quotes the other way from that buttons positioning. I can not figure out how to properly edit this one out or delete it outright to do over. Perhaps cuz a forum mod statement is included?)

  8. I agree. Currant version not at all user friendly in this way.
  9. If I recall correctly it's not a matter of flagging. Some users operate their games on older version specifically to use Mods that are not updated. Otherwise all versions of mods are typically archived and maintained.
  10. People are possessed of a genetic imperative of radical self interest. Absent of a Social Framework which enforces a Ethical/Moral standard, radical self interest does not take into consideration anyone else's 'rights' or 'personal sovereignty'. Might makes right. Thus to determine Good/Bad we require some kind of established Framework with which we can evaluate facts on a case by case basis. A blanket statement of Bad or Good across humanity is never going to 'fit'.
  11. As far as indictment, to what category of offense? This is the first step to determine what happens to Nexus. Nexus is a, for lack of more informed terms, 'Corporate Entity', or should be if those running it have any scruples. A corporate entity it's self can not be handed an indictment. If the offense is of a Legal nature unrelated to Nexus, I have to believe there is a chain of 'ownership/control'. As with any organization which is attempting to be professional about the services they provide, the delivery of those services takes precedent over whomever it is running the organization. The show must go on. The repercussions of Personal offense can take many forms both Legal and Social. So if the indictment is perceived as a Social Thought Crime, it ultimately depends on how big and how determined the Mob that is 'offended' are. We could use recent events to examine that further on multiple angles, but I'm trying to play nice.
  12. Why have a generic feedback forum when you also have specific feedback forums? Im not going to search out specific feedback options when the first thing I find is a general one, and within that is no indication there are other better places to post. Better forum Feng Shui is needed on this detail I believe. I hope I am in a correct forum for this feedback detail.
  13. This view says I do not have any managed games. It does not indicate how to make a game appear there. I suspect once I do that, Vortex will not duplicate or effectively simulate what was there before. Thank you for the recommendation. This is a feedback forum. My feedback is that Vortex now is lacking in aesthetics and user friendliness.
  14. Previously I could access my game profiles from Dashboard, now I can not. Or at least there is nothing user friendly showing me how to make it look as it once did. Change for Change's Sake alone is not for the good but for making one look useful to keep a job going.
