  1. I think you still do but any mod organizer will do that for you. Not sure the reason for it but it's not that Bethesda doesn't want you to use mods with Survival mode. I actually forgot that was even a thing,..
  2. As far as I know there was never a ban on mods with Survival Mode. I've been using mods with survival since it was implemented.
  3. If the rumors leading up to FO4 are anything to go by, we are in for years and years of fake stuff.
  4. Cool find, thanks for sharing. I guess that explains the snack cakes and Salisbury steaks :)
  5. I'm feeling pretty similar to the OP. Played and loved FO4 since it came out, but the replay value for me isn't what it is for previous titles. I always (and still do) have games of FO3 and NV going even though I've seen just about everything in those games. I'm trying to figure out why FO4 isn't the same for me. I don't think it comes down to one single mechanic, I really don't know yet what my issue is (not helpful, I know). Haven't played the Vault DLC and not really looking forward to Nuka World, I'm having more fun learning how to mod.
  6. It's a single player game, however you want to play it is valid if it's fun for you.
  7. Fun game, I feel I got my money's worth out of it. It's just not a "Fallout" game to me, nor is it an RPG. Replay value for me is really diminishing.
  8. Well said, thanks for everything this site does!
  9. Ex.2 is exactly what I am worried about. Doing something over and over again like that is just no fun. Be it fighting raiders or looting some junk, it's just not compelling gameplay.
  10. Save on sleep bothers me even more than I thought it would. I don't feel it adds anything actually "Hardcore", it just makes me worried I'll have to redo boring bits over and over again. Someone on the Bethesda forums described it as making things more difficult for the player and not the character which I think is spot on. I wish they would have done things more like no healing from uncooked food and you can only consume so much water or food before becoming full and unable to drink or eat anymore. I feel stuff like that would have been more interesting in a survival mode than a 4th wall breaking mechanic of making my character need to take a nap on a regular basis. Just my opinion of course and I'm sure many see it another way, but I am really disappointed by this change.
  11. I understand this is a beta, but am still bummed out mods are disabled. Frankly any problems caused by mods we're running is our problem, not Bethesda's. The stupid save on sleep thing pisses me off more.
