Yeh I'm a noob I had to swap stuff from some folders, not mentioned in the readme but I had been hoping the extraction would stick them there anyway - oh well it is all sorted now.

Sorry forgot to mention that I have tried that and it makes no difference. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Most of the mods I have downloaded so far work just fine but a few are downloaded and then give me no option in data files, it's not greyed out box just nothing there and then when the game is loaded the mod doesn't run. I don't think it is purely the mod's fault because both 'Imperial Armor' and 'Anduril Flame of the West' are well endorsed mods they just don't give me date files options. Help please?

Oh yeh how could I forget the Dothraki scythes they're awesome as well.

If you've watched Game of Thrones you'll know there are some pretty cool looking armors in it (if you haven't watched game of thrones it's like the Sopranos in ME and totally awesome - the books are good as well). Anyway I have no skill in modding and literally no time to work on it so would love to request someone to make some of the item from GoT. The 'Hounds' armor (you know the guy with the burned face). Valerian steel swords and daggers. Long Claw - the sword given to the Stark's bastard by the nightwatch commander. Lannister soldiers armour. Needle. Armour similar to those that the Nightwatch wear. Similar combat belts to those that they wear (not really GoT specific just a nice idea) As in a belt portraying both a sword with another short sword or dagger strapped on.

Ok I was slipping away from Anime mods which is not the major problem imo. I don't think that skimpy armour mods or naked women (obviously naked women are beautiful but there is better porn than Skyrims lackluster textures) are intelligent or beautiful they're just depressing and sad and help enforce the stereotype of RPG gamers as fat, depressed masturbating weirdos.

People are getting in to the whole 'I can have what I want maaaan don't be such a control freak' mode. Yes, I absolutely agree you don't have to download mods like these. I just am myself pine for some really good lore friendly mods. Though you as a modder or mod user are entitled to do what you want I just wish those people with obvious skill put it into to making intelligent and beautiful mods rather than porny ones. Also something which is difficult to change is the possibility that these kind of mods swamp others on the top lists and the in my opinion worthy and good mods don't receive the recognition they deserve and the modders who made them are less likely to put the work in again.

Judging by the current files up for armor on this website I am seriously worried. Admittedly people are limited without the CK but soo many of the armor mods are 'Look up your female character arse while you walk along to retain constant wood while in Skyrim with super duper uber leet skimpy forsworn armor in black - COS BLACKS COOL RIGHT and for some extra zazz i'm gonna stick SKULLS ON IT WOO, I mean you know SKULLS there so cool. Then I'm gonna make another mod and put in a MASSIVE AND STUPID SWORD look at this MASSIVE SWORD with SKULLS on it and it's tiny ridiculous handle it's my penis substitute to go with my porny armor cos I'm a REALLY REALLY SAD PERSON.' It's not even like these mods are necessarily the most popular ones they just seem to be in the largest quantity. If you look at the weapons mods the two most endorsed are 'weapons of the third era' and 'Jaysus Swords' both spectacular mods considering how long the games been out that adds lore friendly beautiful and useful weapons.

Pretty much exactly as the topic title says. Also on a sidenote/P.S how and does the Skyrim better performance mod work?

Basically I'm curious about what the difficulty level changes to make the game more difficult? Is it simply an increase in your opponents skill levels and accuracy of their hits? Is there AI more intelligent? Will they block when on a lower difficulty they wouldn't have? Can they detect me more easily when I'm sneaking? Are enemies more likely to complete finishing moves on me? Will they attack more intelligently with their choice of weapons? Do traps do more damage? Are enemies more likely to use better weapons? Will those who can use types of magic that cause more damage to me dependant on my resistances? Anyway you can see what I'm getting at please enlighten me!

Of course in TES lore the civil war is going to be inconsquenutial because otherwise Tamrielic history would change depending on how what you did in this game. The way I see it the Bethesda's either planning that despite the possibility of the empire controlling Skyrim again they will collapse anyway and Ulfric's uprising will be mentioned as one of the things that bough this about and following him another leader will of taken control of Skyrim OR the Empire will gain control of Skyrim again and Ulfric's uprising will be told as one of the many insurrections the empire had to overcome at this time. Because of this the ending of that particular storyline could hardly be definitive. I admit I was slightly dissapointed at the end of the main quest though in a way pleased as it felt like the beginning of something massive rather which is quite interesting for the rest of this game and future ES's.

I actually like the fluctuation between enemies and how difficult they are. Admittedly it's stupid that a dragon is easier than bandits but I find it cool to storm through somewhere and destroy all the lower levels before meeting my match. It also gives a sense of reward to the game - Oblivions everything takes 30 minutes to kill because they have 4000 hp was much worse than Skyrim's system of random very hard enemies. It can be annoying though when you reload 10 times to clear Trava's watch of bandit marauders to be given a detect life spellbook in return at level 46.

Going into Labyrthinian and being confronted by a horde of skeletons and a skeletal dragon made even more epic by the way my character blasted the skeletons out of the way in a few lighting bolts before launching a lightning storm at the skeletal dragon. Looking out over bard's leap then making the jump to be pleasantly surprised. The first time I decapitated someone. Being taken up to the heavens by Meridia. Sneaking onto a dragons back before shooting it in the back of the head - it then proceeded to fly into the air to about 40ft before I fell off it to my death.

Since I bought Skyrim I have been playing with Steam in offline mode and haven't installed any of the patches. This is because I had heard numerous bad things about the patches and indeed that they fixed few problems but created many more irritating ones. So now I am tempted what with the 4GB patch coming out recently but I am wondering whether it is either possible to just download this patch..? Or if the patches aren't nearly as bad as I've heard?

Not really conjuration is a lot less cheaty feeling and more interesting to train.

Illusion is highly useful for a sneak character. Not only muffle and invisibility but also Fury and the like. For instance

He is involved in Boethiahs quest in Morrowind in a minor way. He has no involvement in any quests in Skyrim as far as I know.

Some of the quest rewards are leveled yes. Most cash rewards are leveled and almost all item rewards are leveled. Some remain unleveled however for instance the reward for helping Stalleo regain Treva's watch is always a detect life spell book which is nothing considering at high levels this quest can be quite difficult.

Why would you not kill Sigrud after about 10 minutes in Whiterun he's infuriating.

Oh no you can't get GOTY for the xbox that is distressing perhaps you should spend the money on a new computer - it would almost definitely run the game better. In all seriousness they don't care at all.
