  1. Not a huge fan of that one...too much work...they might redecorate... >.> <.<
  2. Dunno it seems like several people are interested in this mod, but no one is interested in making it! haha if I had any modding skills I would definitely be up for it, but sadly I do not.
  3. All of these ideas are awesome, I just wish we could get someone to undertake the task of trying to make this happen. I especially like the idea of creating your own stronghold and having your own merchants and vendors who you get taxes off of, as well as being able to hire guards you can take with you as followers.
  4. Personally I love these ideas. Especially having quests to claim a place, and being able to frecruit people to populate your town or fort. But to take it a step further, recruiting merchants to set up shop and pay taxes would be a good way to get some income for upkeep.
  5. Okay, I have Skyrim on my old computer at the moment and it isn't working. So I bought a new computer and want to install it on there, but I have a few questions first: 1) How do I uninstall the game? Didn't see the option when starting the game, nor in Steam. Do I just need to go to Control Panel and uninstall from there? 2) Once I uninstall it, will I have any issue reinstalling on a new computer with the same CD Key? I'll still have my Steam account created so it should recognize the key is attached to the same account right?
  6. I loved in Morrowind how you could build your own Stronghold. I know it would be a huge mod but it would be awesome if we could have that option again. Maybe the whole in sections thing too where you get permission, start one phase, hire guards, maybe even an option to persuade merchants to hawk their wares there, and you could get taxes off of those sales. Or maybe get a blacksmith or someone else...you know, just throwing out ideas. Also, the chance to choose what kind of style the stronghold would be cool as well, if it was possible. Maybe the architecture?
  7. To be honest, I have yet to play Skyrim due to gameplay issues on my computer- I have just purchased a new one to remedy this. But, from everything I've read, the best parts of Morrowind aren't here: 1. The inclusive feeling of being part of the factions you join and how joining one affects your relations with others. 2. The variety of NPCs and feeling like areas are truly diverse. 3. The epic-ness of the storyline where you play a legend and everyone knows who you are at the end of the game. 4. The length of quests. Yes, long quests can sometimes be tedious. But then again that just means you get a bigger sense of satisfaction when you've finished it. Another thing I loved/hated in Morrowind is that at times it took a LONG time to get to out of the way places- it was kind of realistic. 5. This is just my personal wish, but I loved being able to join the Great Houses that each had their own specialties and architecture and such and advance in them. ( Also the ability to make a stronghold was awesome in my opinion- and I think it would be great if you could not only build your own stronghold in future games, but customize the architecture, hire guards, maybe employ shopkeepers or merchants of which you get taxes from, etc. Dunno, maybe I'm crazy to ever think that could ever happen. )
  8. I really liked how you could join the three Houses in Morrowind and eventually build your own stronghold. Anyone know if that is back in Skyrim? Or at least the ability to hire guards at your house and stuff?
  9. Thanks for all the replies everyone! So is the consensus that my computer can run the game but I need to spend some money on a new video card? if so, that doesn't sound terrible. I was getting concerned I needed to drop like $1500 on a new desktop! Comparatively, $100-$150 on a new viceo card isn't bad at all.
  10. Thanks for the reply and the advice. I saw your post before I posted this actually but since no one was replying I figured it couldn't hurt to post my own. And I suppose I'll take your advice with regards to waiting, as much as I hate to. But you have a point, no sense is spending a lot of money if I might not need to.
  11. Hi, i replied to your thread. Sorry i couldn't give you much advice but hopefully it will help some.

P.s. did you try getting the latest updates for your videocard on Steam?

  12. Okay, so I have an: AMD Phenom 9550 Quad-Core Processor 2.2 Ghz 6 GB Ram 64 bit operating system running Vista with the basic video card: ATI Radeon HD 3500 Will dropping $200 on a new video card fix this? Do I need a new computer entirely? I've been waiting forever for this game and really looking forward to it, incredibly distressed I can't play it. Any help would be appreciated.
  13. I would appreciate a reply to this question as well, as I am having the same problem.
