Reinstall/Repair Steam. Your registry is borked.

Vortex keeps all data in the AppData folder in case you reinstall it. Deleting this folder does a complete reset of the app.

Double click the failed extension for more details on why it didn't load.
 
Much of time it's caused by security software deleting the required files when you install Vortex. Or it'll be the solution here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/12319363-plugin-section-has-disapeared/

You can change it in the tool settings (note for the game itself, you can't change the setting anymore). Things like SKSE can close/hide Vortex when launched.

Hmm, weird. I'm not exactly sure how it works. It must need the game to be in the GOG Galaxy manifests to automatically flag it. A possible improvement would be to let the user change the store type.

NMM has been unsupported since December 2016 and we do not provide support for it here.

Go to your dashboard and edit the tools to point to the new locations.

You can always manually install an old version of an extension from the mod page. We don't currently support Linux so we can't help you with Linux-specific issues.

If you want Vortex in a different place (which is almost never required) there's a custom location installer on the download page. Try that instead.

This is a problem with MO2, this forum is for help with Vortex.
 
Vortex cannot cause the problem you described.

If Vortex doesn't pick it up then you don't have the exact version the collection requires. It's as simple as that.
 
Maybe you have an older (or newer) version of the file requested.

If the game starts fine without Vortex and the mods load, just start the game that way for now.

We do not currently have any plans to allow collections to be added collections.

ESL files are automatically both a master and a light file. They're called "Light Masters".

This will only fail to load if something in your setup is breaking it. This could be security apps or just a bad configuration in Windows itself.

I worked my way down the list and I believe it's the Hollow Knight extension that is causing your problem.

As the error says, this folder is missing on your PC "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data".
