Pickysaurus's post in vortex app suddenly refuses to put mods in my game pak folder because the folder is controlled by the game? (huh?) was marked as the answer
Sounds like you're trying to set the staging folder to an invalid location. The mod staging folder must be on the same drive as the game but NOT in the game folder.

Pickysaurus's post in Can't find Games was marked as the answer
Only the games shown in the games tab are supported. For the ME trilogy, you'll need ME3Tweaks.

Pickysaurus's post in Skyrim Vortex Collection "Undefined" Mod was marked as the answer
You may need to ask the curator of the collection. Installing things from outside of Nexus Mods always runs the risk of the collection going wrong.

Pickysaurus's post in How do I opt out? was marked as the answer
These files are not shared automatically unless you submit feedback. There is also a toggle for diagnostic information in the settings.

Pickysaurus's post in Does vortex support BAIN yet/help with installing a BAIN mod into vortex? was marked as the answer
No, Vortex does not support BAIN and we have no plans to add that. If a member of the community would like to add an extension to support it we'd encourage it though!

Pickysaurus's post in Why do I have a "downgrade available" notification? was marked as the answer
This is a bug, you can ignore it. Once Vortex graduates beta it will go away (or an incoming beta may fix it)

Pickysaurus's post in Every time I start Vortex I get a notification "Failed to install the extension "Script Extender Installer" from "Github.com"" was marked as the answer
You have a super old version of Vortex. Update manually to the latest version.

Pickysaurus's post in Plugin problem was marked as the answer
Somehow you've installed an example extension to your Vortex. Go to the path in the error and delete the entire folder.

This is an error from the Bannerlord extension. Make sure you have the correct version installed. @Aragas FYI

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex [Plugins] How to import/Export Load order was marked as the answer
It sounds like you're talking about the Collections feature, which allows you to export all mods and load order data into a bundle for others to use.
You can learn more about it here: https://modding.wiki/en/nexusmods/collections

Pickysaurus's post in Collections Tab is not loading; "Failed to Render." was marked as the answer
Have you added a collection with a ridiculously long title or something? If so you might be able to find it in the mods tab and remove it

Pickysaurus's post in Wow, can someone explain why Vortex turned against me? was marked as the answer
If you didn't intentionally make these changes, simply revert them all. Then on the next deploy it'll use all the files from your staging folder, ignoring those in the game folder (that aren't controlled by Vortex).

Pickysaurus's post in executable doesn't exist - starfield - help please was marked as the answer
Somehow you've set D:\Vortex\Downloads\Vortex_downloads_folder\__vortex_downloads_folder as a tool in Vortex.
Go to the dashboard, find the tools section and use the "Edit" option on each tool to work out which one you've messed with. I suspect it's the Starfield Script Extender (SFSE) shortcut.

This has been solved. The owner of the mod page uploaded SoS without permission to their mod page and named it "Male".

Pickysaurus's post in Game location doesn't exist or isn't writeable- Fallout New Vegas was marked as the answer
You've somehow got a folder at
C:\Users\thebi\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\falloutnv\mods\__vortex_staging_folder
This isn't something Vortex would do itself.
Go to that folder and delete the folder mentioned above. This will fix your issue

Pickysaurus's post in I/O Error Disk Access Failed Repeatedly was marked as the answer
An I/O Error is a hardware or driver fault. It's not something that can be fixed in Vortex.
