I/O Error Disk Access Failed Repeatedly

I have absolutely no clue what could cause this. I have uninstalled vortex in every way possible, given it administrator, given my entire pc edit access to the entire steam folder, tried CHKDSK twice, and also googled every solution out there... I don't understand why this keeps popping up. This is the first time I have ever seen this and it's only with vortex.

Just as a note I can't click manage on any games, it keeps giving me warnings about invalid paths (the path exists so I'm not sure why it cant find the path.)

Anybody know the solution??

The vortex updates are total garbage. The 2 times I have done the updates from within the program, I have had to totally strip everything out, reinstall vortex and ALL 20+ mods.

This time it's giving me startup failed because it's saying some stupid file is write protected. If it is, it's VORTEX that did it

I'm gonna be honest I don't understand how the bug it this badly. How do you make it self-cause an I/O error..

Thats almost strictly system error.
