  1. I been waiting untill it went on Sale rly :P I got Hearthfire and Dawnguard with 50% off quite a while back.
  2. Thought id share this... All DLC is -30% on Steam at the moment. Think i'm grabbing Dragonborn myself while it's hot :)
  3. Been having those stutters since day one, it's the game engine, nothing you can do about it.
  4. If it's with an ENB it's most likely "anamorphic lens flare" from Bloom.
  5. I think i figured it out. /setstage DLC1VQ03Hunter 200
  6. I'm having an issue with Dexion Evicus (Moth Priest). I just saved him from that Cave near Dragon Bridge and he made his way to Fort Dawnguard. I spoke with Isran about the good news and now i'm suppost to talk with the Moth Priest about the Elder Scroll. He has two dialogs, one where you can ask what Moth Priests do and the other how much he knows about Elder Scrolls. After finishing both dialogs nothing happens. I tried going thru all dialogs from Isran and Serana but that doesn't make any difference. The Quest Log says: "With the Moth Priest safely back at Fort Dawnguard, he can now read Serana's Elder Scroll and learn more about the prophecy that Harkon is hoping to use to gain power over the sun." Load Order:
  7. dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp Try get rid of that, it's causing issues for many people. Or if you use many 2K/4K textures swap to 1K/2K. Skyrims TESV.exe is 32-Bit and gets unstable when closing in on 3.1 GB of memory usage.
  8. Only downside with setting it to fNear1stPersonDistance=0.0000 is that it completely disables lighting on characters Arms.
  9. It has to do with Detailed Shadows. But only happens outside.
  10. Well that did fix it indeed =] Thanks a lot.
  11. I don't use any SSAO, not even from the NVIDIA Control Panel. But ill try the DIsplay settings you suggested.
  12. Does anyone know if this is fixable at all? I'm using Unbleak ENB tweaked for ENB 0.186. http://imageshack.us/a/img443/3888/72qs.th.jpg
  13. Couple of things. 101Bugs isn't compatible with UFO if i remember right. A Quality World Map can cause issues. (Don't forget HIgh Quality 3D Map as that's most likely part of it) And perhaps Wearable Lanterns. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You can download BOSS here --> http://code.google.com/p/better-oblivion-sorting-software/downloads/list Install it and run it, it will organize the loadorder as best as possible.
  14. I always had 100% crash near Karthwasten. Cleaned up all Mods with TES5Edit and the issue was gone.
  15. After changing Skyrim HD 2K and Serious HD Retexture to 1K i havn't had a crash anymore. It dropped my VRam from 2900 MB to 2500 MB. So my guess is that the TESV.exe reaching unstable memory usage caused my CTDs ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @Sigurd44 If you use ENB i suggest 2x MSAA + Edge Detect from ENB, on such a big ress that's more than enough to smooth out the jaggies. I'm currently using the same on 1920 x 1200 and it looks just smooth. I'm currently using ENB 0.168 with Unbleak (modified it a lot tho)
  16. Not really familiar with Logs from Skyrim, but i picked out two things that should be changed atleast. dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp=1 dD-Dragonborn-Dawnguard-EBT Patch.esp=1 Is something that been causing issues for many many people. Would be the first Mod id get rid off. Also place WATER at the very bottom. Maybe someone else can help with the rest.
  17. Could also be behind the DVD ^^. One prints them on the manual, the other just a sticker in the DVD Box. It should be there if you got a Hard Copy.
  18. Open up Steam and look under the "Games" Tab. Click on "Activate a Product on Steam". You will be able to fill on your CD Key there and DL the game.
  19. The Issue with Skyrim is that the TESV.exe becomes unresponsive because of an outmoded .exe... It has nothing to do with processors or O/S's but it is all about processes... and their priority within the O/S... the more overloaded the process the more likely the failure, and very few people are familiar with how to raise a processes priority in the O/S..and you can do it thru the task manager... No one is wanting to author a fix....It would violate EULA... So that is one other thing that you can do to make it more stable.... that and taking the Page File off the default.... Let Windows Control, and put it off the O/S disk.and open it up to 4-6 GB. The other thing would be to look in the O/S and DX error logs and see what they are telling you... you need to look at that in order to look at bigger overall issues. I always understood the page file should be 1 to 1.5x the physical ram installed. Which would put the page file at 8-12 Gig. There are also a few times you can speed up a PC by turning off the page file. It's not really recommended to turn the pagefile completely off. I always lower it to 2048 MB.
  20. nVidia announced last week they will be fixing their Drivers for ENBs. Should be solved in a couple of weeks.
  21. My VRam been topping 2800-2900 MB at 1920 x 1200 with 4x MSAA and FXAA, and indeed ENB. I never checked the TESV.exe usage, but i'm guessing it's the cause of my CTDs. Will find out tomorrow if it's gone, since i replaced all Textures i could. If i still CTD i call it a game and leave Skyrim for what it is ^^
  22. I use Zotac Firestorm and many times i seen VRam topping 2800-2900 MB. Thats on 1920 x 1200 with 4x MSAA + FXAA.
  23. I see people with Win 8 issues all over the place, not just with Skyrim. It's indeed as the user above said the Vista of 2012. I suggest using Win 7 untill it goes EOL in 2020.
  24. OCing your CPU will help, Skyrim seems pretty CPU hungry.
  25. Yep, look here http://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=1929 When you're closing in on 3.2GB on the TESV.exe it crashes due to 32-Bit limit. Swap to 1K for Landscape Textures is a start.
