  1. Hi, The Creation Kit likes to crash every time I try to load skyrim.esm. Any chance of optimisation for the CK, to fix this?
  2. "occasionally". Just saying... Anyway, piracy sucks. Don't pirate, EVER. The excuse that you'll buy it later if it's good is ridiculous. Pirating is counted legally as equal to stealing. Would you go to a games store on the street, walk in, grab a game without paying, and just say you'll pay if it's good? (Hint: The answer is no... unless you're a really stupid shoplifter that likes advertising the fact he's never going to pay)
  3. Just use NMM AND the Workshop. That's what I'm doing. The Workshop doesn't seem to allow mod ordering, and "Duel" hates it if anything's below it in the ordering list. -.-
  4. You'll have to pack your textures into an esp file and then put it below the HD pack esp files in NMM so that you can override the new official HD pack. Bethesda's HD pack's terrible, so don't worry about ruining their work. ;)
  5. Until modders pack their textures into esp files, I'm not going to use the new official HD Texture Pack, as the mods I use are better than what Bethesda's dished out. I hope modders do pack their textures into .esp files eventually though as Bethesda's covered a lot of files that modders have just missed.
  6. It's unfortunate that the HD texture pack's packed into .esp files. I would have liked to overwrite it with better mods, but still maintain the files that mods have missed. :(
  7. Just a quick bug report before I play Skyrim again, with the HD pack: When trying to post on the Nexus forums, there's a notification telling me to wait 60 seconds before I post again. But I just left for about half an hour to eat my dinner, so surely it must have been over 60 seconds by now?

  11. Hi. I finished the Imperial questline months ago, and was confused to find that after all the work I put into taking over Skyrim, There's no High Queen. Jarl Elisif has never been crowned. I've never had a quest to be notified of her crowning anyway. Looking at some other posts on the internet though, I just realised she's probably supposed to be crowned eventually, and it's not just a missing ending. Anyone know of any fixes, or can anyone confirm whether Elisif is ever actually supposed to be crowned?
  12. Not sure if this has been mentioned before and I'm too lazy to read through all the posts atm, but Helgen's empty, and it wouldn't be too hard to renovate Helgen Keep. It's a massive castle and there's a lot of space. If you can find the code for the stone corridors, you can delete the rubble in the keep, and repair the old corridor. Then you'll have a massive keep, with it's own secret passage. ;)

  14. I used the console commands to edit Hjerim. Check this thread: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/477049-renovate-your-house-with-console/ I have no idea how people make NEW interior cells, as I've only worked out how to edit existing cells like Hjerim. I suggest you speak to Shawkab ;) http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/user/3134617-shawkab/ Anyway, I'm gonna do some more edits of Hjerim today and probably start work on the basement(The display-case was only temporary, though it might make an appearance again if I get bored of spawning a hundred and something walls).

What use would I have for some 'official' HD texture pack? It'll probably be a half-done cheap port anyway... -.-

  18. Hi, I'd just like to post/brag here about my Hjerim mod(Which is mainly just a personal mod because I wanted more space). So far, I've converted the kitchen to a pantry, fixed the dining room, converted the secret room to a smithing room, and built uh... you'll see(It's not a proper part of the mod though :P). (I'll put all images in spoiler tags as they're very very large image files)
  19. Nice designs, but I'd just like to note that they don't really fit in with Skyrim's atmosphere. I suggest adding in little details somewhere to show that the castles are Skyrim-originated. Either that or you could wait until somebody makes a new continent/make a new continent yourself that has the same theme as your castles and then add your castles to that continent.
  20. That would be really awesome. I wouldn't mind building the house interior for a manor, Torbjorn, if you don't have the time. I think I'm getting the hang of interior design through console now. Still can't work out bookcases though -.- I'd also like to suggest that you set up proper trade routes between Riverwood and Whiterun so that Riverwood can get the proper supplies for defence and Whiterun can get more wood. If you end up setting up custom guards, this would be very beneficial to them as weapon supplies from Whiterun could be very useful against dragons. I also suggest having something unique to the village such as an old cave that happens to contain Riverwood's true history or something.

I tried many times leaving the house and re enter -yet the ghost activator still remains . i will give it another try but i doubt any success. What bout the light effects ,and weaponracks ?? Anyhow i appreciate any responses highly .Tthing is more specific detailed answers gonna help me greenhorn more I believe you need TESvSnip to delete invisible collision models and lights. I've seen it mentioned before when questions like yours are asked. I've not used it myself though so can't help much I'm afraid. Also, @at anyone that might be interested, I've finished modding the dining room in Hjerim. All storage has been moved to the pantry. I'll post screenies tomorrow. ;D When the CK comes out, I'll look into converting my mod to an esp file, or whatever filetype the CK uses. ;)

Finally finished the foundations and some decoration for my Hjerim modification: Hjerim mod The kitchen/pantry's(I converted the old kitchen to a pantry and added a firepit in a new room next door) pretty much complete but I might add some more storage boxes for food. Need some tips for the converted secret room. It's currently just a smithing room but as shown in the screenshots, there's lots of free space, and I don't know what to do with it. Also need a few tips for the dining room. It's got a fireplace now, and I want to make it a dining-room only, rather than a lounge for the housecarl. I'm not sure whether to add an extra table though. Any ideas for an alternative to an extra table? @lol 1st floor roof: 0005D793 Doorway: 000D0EB3 Door: 000CC16A Not been in Proudspire for a while and my handwriting's terrible so I might have read my notes wrong, but I'm pretty sure they're the right codes and may help you out in some areas. You already have the other necessary components. There are some useful codes on the first post of this thread as well which may help you. Other than that, just check fusromod.com and search for stuff you want with Ctrl+F.

I think it's possible to get the last spawned object through some command that hasn't been discovered yet as if I scroll my mousewheel down after spawning something, it selects the last spawned object. You could also use a default object, get it's refID(Not sure if they're global across games though?) and use prid to get that, set it's location, then spawn the new object through that, thus having the right location settings as soon as the new object spawns.
  24. It is possible yes. You would need to use the prid command to select an object, then use placeatme to place an object on that object. Then use each position and angle command to complete placement. If I can ever be bothered to restart my modding with the console, I might do that, but I'll probably just wait for the CK and release proper mod files.
