I'm thinking of getting a laptop, but don't know much about them, I've only recently gotten a desktop for gaming and it's serving it's purpose well. I want something I can take with me, but don't know where to start/what to stay away from.... I found this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152337 But I'd hope to go a little cheaper, though I want to be able to use the creation kit and play Skyrim on at least high settings.. Any suggestions?

Modeling is muuuuuch harder IMO. UV mapping and painting is fairly simple, but molding a 3d object into something useable, it's just way beyond me. Been trying on Blender and 3Ds Max, most I've been able to do is simply edit a mesh (in a very small way)....maybe if I keep at it it'll come to me haha

Something strange happened the other day, I was taking screenshots do I was in TFC, (I was also in water at the time I think) but I went to wait for 12 hours to get the sun back out and it went immediately. It also said "you awaken feeling rested" weird, but it did what you are talking about to an extent. So I guess try it, open console, type TFC, close console, wait for a fair amount of time, and see if it happens instantly. Not the best workaround, but it might work :)

Yeah, but when you reduce the polys, I'm sure you have to UV it again and then of course re-create the texture, right?

I'm just wondering if I'm waiting for nothing. I have a model that's has over a million polys, I exported as obj from 3ds Max and am trying to import it into NifSkope. It seems like NifSkope can't handle it or something, it's not doing anything. Does anyone know if NifSkope can even import such a detailed model? Or does it just take a looooong time. It's been about 20 minutes so far.... Oh and btw, 3ds would export it as obj, but when I tried to export it straight as a nif, it wouldn't export it either.... Just asking to see if I'm going to have to "start over" and reduce the detail considerably on my model, I don't want to do that, it's the worst case scenario......exhausting all my options before I do that :)

I think UNP looks more realistic, the vag looks insanely realistic, but the breasts were a little small IMO, so I fixed that part by downloading the UNP Blessed Body file from the Adult toys mod, which made the breasts bigger, now I think it's perfect LoL

Yes, make sure your esp's are activated. You can do this in either the Nexus Mod Manager or under "data files" in the Skyrim launch screen

I don't think it was the update with that situation, because I uninstalled "extensible follower framework" to give UFO a try, and I had tried to rehire Marcurio, and it acted like it accepted it, but he never followed me, so I uninstalled UFO and went backy to my trusty old Extensible Follower Framework, which allows you to have up to 100 followers (not that youd ever need that many hahaha) but I think that is the best followrr mod available, it has a lot of cool features, check it out http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=12933

Yeah, it's possible, with these follower mods, it is very important to follow install/update/uninstall procedures to the letter. One time I simply updated the mod without first making a clean save and I couldn't talk to any of my followers any more! Luckily, I had an autosave to restart from, but I had to go uninstall the update, reinstall the previous version, go back into the game, made sure I could talk again, backed out, uninstalled the mod completely, loaded up again without the mod, made a save, backed out again, and then installed the new update.....whew that's a lot of stuff just to do an update, LoL but I found out that it is completely necessary to follow the procedure exactly. Now I'm not saying that you didn't follow instructions, I'm just sharing a time that I corrupted one of my saves....

Oh and other "essential" type mods (I'm on my phone and can't link to them) but the obvious ones SkyUI, Customized Favorites Menu, colored map markers, detailed map with roads........but those are the obvious ones LoL, the ones you listed are some I hadn't thought of or seen before! Your textures are showing up in NifSkope? They shouldn't. I may not be right, but how do u have your texture path set up? My textures only show up in NifSkope if I have the paths setup to C:\programfilesx86\steam....., but it should be simply textures\armor\yourmodel.nif, so you would erase everything in the path before textures\armor\yourmodel.nif

Yes, it is available from a mod called SkyFi over on ModDB, it should be on the nexus sometime in the future, but if you wanna have a looksey, it is available there right now in alpha I think as part of a bigger mod....

I figured out my problem, turns out it had nothing to do with what type of DDS I was saving as, it was the fact that I was trying to save it as a volume texture (default setting), when I switched it to 2D texture, all is working now!

Most people either have http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=2666 (CBBE) or http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6709 (UNP), check those out they both have options for nude or underwear versions I believe, whichever suits your taste
