Fallout 4 CTD's within 2 to 10 minutes of playing
MichaelEpic replied to Aldaz108's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Its because of the pot mod....because drugs are bad, mmkay. -
Well I felt extremely butthurt by it because I tore down a large chunk of the Spectacle Island home that took me HOURS upon HOURS to wire up to several independent switch boxes and I had to get crafty with the wiring to make it look right and I was relying on advanced switches and an elevator to make the dream home on spectacle island I saw in my head the very very first time I played Fallout 4. Plus I want armor and weapon displays to make a showroom for all the cool and gnarly things I've found in the Wasteland and later (when I have time to play Far Harbor) on the coast. Plus I want to display my hats and my outfits and just have a freaking treasure trove like I'm a pirate ARGHHH So yeah, I was pretty butthurt about it. I'm not mad at Bethesda but they really let me down with the cut of content

I've found YouTube videos of folks showing off new Far Habor workshop items, here's the rundown so far; Structures: Boxcars (Blue, Orange) - NoScaffolding (Floors, Miscellaneous, Prefabs, Roofs, Stairs, Framework, Doors) - NoWarehouse (Doors, Floors, Miscellaneous, Prefabs, Roofs, Stairs, Walls) - YesBarn (Doors, Floors, Miscellaneous, Prefabs, Roofs, Stairs, Walls) - YesBall Track (Straight, Curves, Miscellaneous) - NoElevators - NoDecorations: Display (Armor Racks, Weapon Racks, Power Armor, Display Cases) NoWall Decorations (Posters) - YesPower: Manufacturing (Conveyor Belts, Machinery, Miscellaneous) NOMarquee NOAdvanced Switches - NOConduit - NO That's what I've been able to find so far, and I'm pretty sorely disappointed by that. I hope I'm wrong. I've yet to get home from work and see Far Harbor myself but I'm pretty butthurt.

Sadly, my adblocker is very active on this site. I took neXus off of my whitelist when I started visiting and my virus detection / malware detection software would alert me that this page was not a good one to visit and I was like wait what? So I took this site off my whitelist.

Terrible problems with Fallout 4: Creation Kit
MichaelEpic replied to MichaelEpic's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
No, Fallout 4 isn't running at all! My PC actually can't run Fallout 4 very well...only have it on PC so I can make mods with the CK and hopefully test it with sluggish FPS or have my dad test it on his computer! I'm also struggling to find a door that matches up to BldWoodBMdRoomDoor02 :-/ This CK thing is hard- 4 replies

I'm having a terrible time with the Fallout 4 creation kit :-/ I installed it, loaded the Fallout master file, created my (hopefully) upcoming mod plugin file "BuddingActor.esp" and I started building the first building in it. I stumbled around through the world objects for a bit, watching a YouTube tutorial and I was really proud of what I got done. Then, it was time to shut down from work and go home. So I have arrived today, opened the Bethesda.net launcher, opened creation kit, loaded the Fallout 4 master file, my plugin, set my plugin to active file, went to the cell view window, right clicked on my BuddingActor, view....rendered it into the render window, started adding onto it and then decided I wanted to save. Failed to create temp file. Plugin 'Data\BuddingActor.esp' cannot be saved. CurrentDir: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Fallout 4' EXEdir: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Fallout 4' :-/ I don't know what to do or what I did wrong...do I start over? Is there something I missed? Someone please help because I'm frustrated to death with it.

I'd like more magazines, lockable doors where NPC's can't mess with your prized loot, new quests, new land masses, videos to watch on the TV, new NPC's with new dialogue (since modders can't really harness the voice actors like Piper, Nick, Deacon, etc) Plus I'd like for the sole survivor to actually be able to lay down and wait (camera looks at ceiling) no collision detection on the pillows, blankets / sheets for the bed, possibly utilize the combat zone for a fighting quests, a mechanic to shoot a basketball into the basketball hoop (besides the junk jet lol) and other things I can't think of right now. OH! I just thought of one...."your" character from Fallout 3, that destroyed Liberty Prime lol...

Is this possible with Fallout 4 mods?
MichaelEpic replied to MichaelEpic's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Is that the creation kit thing they're talking about at the moment that just went into beta? I've always been curious what will come from that...and if I could personally make things for the game myself. Being such a n00b I doubt I'd come up with anything really cool but I'd like to start on small things like perhaps carry weight magazines like every magazine you find gives +5lbs to carry weight and maybe have 10 of those or so. Just small stuff like that to simultaneously enhance a game aspect and give more decoration items of magazines and what not -
Is this possible with Fallout 4 mods?
MichaelEpic replied to MichaelEpic's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Yes to all. Also new quests, new followers, new monsters, whole game overhauls, a new main quest, changing whole cities and more. No joke? How is that stuff done? I saw basement living and campsite from fadingsignal and I'm literally blown away by it. I mean seriously impressed and I just want to know what other things might be possible. -
Hi there....I'm back once again. Hopefully I can make a thread this time that doesn't get locked...I was in over my head last time, unfortunately. Imagine how silly I felt when my thread got locked immediately lol So based solely and completely on PC, are these type mods possible? Could modders build a new land mass? Could modders create totally new NPC's and voice them? Could modders create new buildings in places there are no buildings? Could modders extend the life of Fallout 4 indefinitely? I'm totally n00b to this idea of modding video games...but with fadingsignal's most impressive works, I'm curious what all is possible. If any modder has time or any modding fan who knows more than I do had time to answer these questions, that would be awesome and I'd appreciate it. Thank you!

Fallout 4 Creation Kit Beta info on bethsite
MichaelEpic replied to skubblebubble's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Honestly, I feel like the world and the people and their entitled attitude is disgusting. Do you like Fallout 4? Then you should be on your hands and knees with humbleness and appreciation that Bethesda exists at all and they made a game such as Fallout 4. Let alone that they are putting out a mod to allow the average Joe to make something really cool for their game. Its like spending 7 years of your life building a classic hot rod, just the way you want it and then handing it over to a community center and saying "Do whatever you want and I'll pay for it." That's incredibly generous and unselfish and staggeringly amazing for game developers to do. -
(I apologize if this ends up being too long of a post, bless you if you read it all) So I'm a console gamer. Playstation 4 and Xbox one. Yes yes, I know...consoles suck, PC master race yadda yadda yadda. I'll be honest with you, I can't afford a computer good enough to run Fallout 4. I've got a wedding and a honeymoon to save money for, so funds are seriously lacking, to say the least. Now, with that being said I'd like to talk about Fallout 4 and the Creation Kit coming and possible mods for Fallout 4 on consoles. First off...can someone please contact the man behind Basement Living? That mod is amazing and if it works in Home Plate? I'd love to know if that gentleman plans to put that mod on Xbox One or PS4 (or both) and if so can it please work for Home Plate? The reason being is because I live at home plate and I'd love to have a basement hatch that I could set up my own personal armory of legendary weapons and armor! Also...you modders are freaking amazing. You guys really are and I'm in awe of what you guys can do with this game! I'm curious what the possibilities are! Could you make an all new land mass like Far Harbor will be? Could you make quests? Could you put voice acting in the game like the Alton mod (which I saw recently) in Fallout 3? I'm just trying to get a grasp of what the modding community is all about, what is possible and of course if Basement Living will be in PS4/Xbox one versions and if it can be used in Home Plate. Also...could you take programming from New Vegas and implement gambling in Fallout 4? Could we get the caravan game? What is possible....that's all I'm curious about because the things I've seen on Nexus so far (Basement Living, OCDecorator, etc) astound me and make me wonder why YOU MODDERS aren't working for Bethesda?
