In Skyrim you can bash enemies with your shield, and this is all well and good, but imagine what it would be like if you could wield a shield in each hand and bash the you-know-what out of any fool who dare oppose you.Imagine if the shields you wielded had the metal rim sharpened to an edge which you could then swipe at the enemy with. The animation of the round punches could be used, just enabled so that it could be used whilst using a shield/shields. In addition, a skill tree could be made that could add perks to up the critical chance etc.You could work it out so that the attack speed was about half that of the punch, because of the obvious weight addition. You should obviously still be able to block, but this would be better because two shields cover more area of your body then one, and even in vanilla Skyrim, the practicality of the shield block is next to none when up against an archer. Just a couple of thoughts I had, so critise or whatever else takes your fancy.

Yes, I have to agree. The mount Frost which I aqquired was such a foolish horse, running headlong into battle against an assassin hit squad, a necromancer hit squad, Forsworn raiders and two Dragons. If the dragons are breathing fire, that should be enough to scare off any SENSIBLE animal, let alone one called Frost raised in Skyrim, where fire is a rarity. A mod for this would be welcome so that rather than fight, the mounts fled from the fight and was waiting for you at the next fast travel location that was safe.

Yeah, this is what I first thought but it could be difficult to achieve, although maybe not when the CK comes out.

you know in the stormcloak questline, when attacking an imperial fort how when you enter a soldier holds up a metal trumpet and sounds the alarm? welll I saw the models for both Jorgen windcaller and torrygs bone horns and i thought, why can't we use them? I propose making a horn with either of their models that is counted as a one handed weapon, but when you 'attack' you put the horn to your mouth and the imperial's trumpets noise is created. maybe change the pitch but hey, even if it would not do anything wouldn't it ad a lot of immersion to the game if you wanted to be a stormcloak commander? what are your thought on this?

Agreed, some of the Chaos armours are awesome and would suit an evil heavy armour wearin' murderer a mod like this would be awesome, maybe even chaos horse armours

I am sorry, really? I always hear dragons say yoltorshul before they breathe fire, I use it as a warning sign. listen closer or try putting on subtitles, they shout and roar, not roar the shouts. I don't mean any offense but they do speak the words.

To clarify, Orcs (Orsimer) are actually still a type of mer, and thus elves (Mer). They were just changed when Triminac turned into Malacath.

The information about creatures idea gives me an idea about perhaps incliuding bestiary in the menu? It could include facts like level of creatures, type (beast, man, undead) andweaknesses and resistances. As you read books (such as the guides to surviving Ice wraiths etc.) It could gain knowledge. ?

The character Blade for me has great potential as a a mod and would be an excellent choice for those inclined to hunt the Nightstalkers (vampire hunter). The mod should introduce the outfit of Blade and the signature shades. these could all be given effects to reflect his vampiric super strength and vitality. I saw in another thread and I believe that having to take a Cure Disease potion every 3-4 in game days makes a perfect substitute for the 'serum'. A penalty could apply if this isn't taken. The actual Daywalker vampirism strain could be gained as part of a quest started from a rumor that leads you to an old, dying Redguard wearing the armour and signature Katana. Ideas?

Theer should be seperate types of spears when this can be made. Throwing spears and spears for stabbing. My idea for the throwing spear would be to maybe have a small quest (input appreciated) to obtain a SINGLE spear that is thrown. It could have an effect/enchantment like for instance a silver sword which makes the spear teleport back to you after it is thrown. After it is readied and thrown (like aiming the bow) using the attack button with it equipped would make it teleport back to you. There is an animation which is used by a certain sorcerres when she teleports that could place the spear back into your hand to be thrown again. Just my thoughts.

Crippling should occur if you shoot someone in the knee (don't even start) and it should be instakill on a humanoid if it's a headshot. Anywhere in the upper chest area should cause either instant death or damage over time (bleedout if pierced heart, suffocation if pierced lung). Arrows to the arms should render the entire sword/shield arm useless and unusable, as well as disarming them or effectively dropping their shield, depending on where you hit.

not necessarily further but that doesn't matter. On a side note however, I think that the distance that an arrow can be fired should increase as the archery skill goes up. The repeated action would build up the character's muscles, enabling them to shoot further and with more power (thus speed). Just an idea I had for an addition to the mod

I'm thinking that if the scabbard was mirrored to the other side and the action of drawing thblade was also mirrorred but with the second one delayed by about a second so that it would be like draw right sword, draw left (accross the body, left hand grabs right side sword on hip and so on)

just on the crossbows, you said that they would be fster than bows. This is in fact false because after having fired the bolt the crossbow had to have the string yanked back and this could only happen if you put your foot into a loop and pulled quite hard. It would take maybe 30 seconds to reload a bolt compared to the handful involved in drawing another arrow from the quiver. The mod should reflect this delay but only by a bout a 2 second reload time compared to the bows less then a second

As asuggestion, possibly include extra units to the factions Imperials- Legates in heavy Imperial armour Forsworn- Briarhearts Thalmor- Higher level units could use Gilded Elven armour All- Squads of different unit types for each army such as a squad of archers, or heavy infantry And a new faction Guards- Guards from the closest hold could be either allied with your army or the enemy's forces depending on the Jarl alleigence to both you and your chosen faction

I would like to see a Spriggan Matron mask, seeing as their faces are hollow, perhaps someone could transfer the mesh onto a Dragon Priest mask.

There are indeed some people working on mods to make food more relevant in the game. If you search for 'survival' mods I think that you might find something. In these mods, food needs to be eaten daily otherwise your character's stats cop it. The same is true of sleep in the Survival mods.
