  1. Not at all. You are free to make your own mod(s) that don't require any additional DLCs.
  2. Vortex doesn't create saves. And those F4SE files are from F4SE (Fallout 4 Script Extender). Sounds like you have F4SE installed, but possibly not correctly, and that's why your game is crashing. Either completely uninstall F4SE if you don't want it, or uninstall and then reinstall it if you want to keep it.
  3. As long as you spell it out for people, maybe provide definitions of what alpha and beta actually mean in the software world, then highlight that, have arrows pointing to it, flashing lights, etc., then it's a great idea! :D
  4. I don't believe that you actually want to show ALL the item IDs currently loaded. Also, fire isn't an item, but an imagespace modification. So definitely not selectable. Have you given Better Console a look? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26582
  5. Excellent advice from Thuggysmurf. (And the reason I only do text.) :D
  6. Yeah, just to parphrase what everyone else said, Transfer Settlements blueprints are absolutely fine to upload. You aren't including any assets from others. If the person(s) using your blueprints don't have any of the mods required, all that will happen is that those specific items won't be imported. That's it. End of story. So maybe a building is missing all of the beds. Okay. The building and rooms are still there. Or perhaps the exterior wood of the building will look different, and not exactly like your's does. Not a big deal, truly. Upload your blueprints in confidence that everything will turn out okay. Nobody will be banned, and nobody will die. :D
  7. It's been done for quite some time: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20718
  8. If you do a search for "Legendary Modification", you'll see the ones that have already been made. Yes, there are problems with them. But until they are either updated, or someone makes a new one, those might do something similar that you are looking for. (Making a mod that does EXACTLY what you describe is impossible.)
  9. Don't dismiss what Stronglav said, out-of-hand. Unless you've already looked into it, and it's not what you are looking for.
  10. Sounds like a decent enough idea. Thanks for taking the time to edit it, and explain further.
  11. That would be better asked in Mod Talk, than in here. This is for requesting new mods. Mod Talk would be about discussing current mods.
  12. The new version is at: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33383
  13. It's a known bug with ALL custom radio stations, and even happens extremely rare with the default stations. And apparently nobody knows how to fix it. After all these years. That's why I'm here right now searching. 'Cause I just lost five hours of game time having to go back to a save where the custom radio station (FCR) was working again. It's aggravating! Anybody? Anybody know how to fix this? Speak up!
  14. Yeah, Beantown Interiors does NOT have a plugin. It shouldn't have one. I'm guessing Vortex is working as intended. There's a handy feature on Nexus that lets you preview the file contents. That's what I just now used to check Beantown Interiors, as I don't use it. So it's really easy to check if something has a plugin or not.
  15. In response to post #50086932. #50092882, #50118302, #50130152 are all replies on the same post. From other posts, it's my understanding that Vortex will incorporate LOOT-like sorting. Edit: Tannin42 says that we'll be able to change the load order, so nvm.
  16. In response to post #50086932. #50092882 is also a reply to the same post. One probable conflict with this approach, if you don't have a set load order, then my hotkeys won't trigger the appropriate things. Yes, every time I change my load order (rare) I have to go into the file and change the first (two) characters, but that's a minor thing. My hotkeys would be useless if there is no set load order.
  17. In response to post #50032012. #50032057, #50032732, #50052427, #50054092, #50054512, #50055082, #50076857, #50077437, #50077572, #50081452, #50103602, #50114677 are all replies on the same post. I'm also interested in what "proper file version control" means. It sounds like it could mean forced versioning, which is one of my complaints about Bethesda. Sure, they allow you to do a custom version, then ignore it in a few places, confusing users. Download version 12 of this mod, version 3.1. Uh. :D
  18. In response to post #50022052. #50023972, #50027932, #50028447 are all replies on the same post. If it's anything like getting dragged into the Matrix, I'm all for it!
  19. In response to post #49984342. #49985262, #49989507, #49992427, #49994012, #50001227, #50007977 are all replies on the same post. @Bonechip My reply was meant toward @sgtmcbiscuits. Sorry for the confusion.
  20. Yeah, easy but stupid solution. I don't mean you are stupid (or Neanka), just that it's stupid we have to do that. :D
  21. In response to post #49984342. #49985262, #49989507, #49992427, #49994012 are all replies on the same post. Okay, not a bad solution. That will make it up to each author if and/or what they want to include, and the complaints for not doing so will be right on their mods where they have the option of banning users. Makes sense. :D
  22. In response to post #49984342. #49985262, #49989507 are all replies on the same post. Do you want mod authors to devote time to developing, or to doing things like this? Choose...
  23. Not that it really matters, as the same menus are on the bottom of the site, but after updating to Windows 10 Creators, Microsoft Edge browser doesn't display the drop-down menus correctly. Like Files, Images, Videos, Wiki, Forums, Chat menus. No rush, obviously, but just thought I'd point it out in case you aren't aware, yet. Still works correctly on Internet Explorer.
  24. Nice. I'm sure that'll help people find it easier. No sense making as difficult for others as it was for you, right? :) (BTW, the two sources are from the same person. Not that it matters. hehe)
