In response to post #44180230. #44189220, #44200315 are all replies on the same post. How do they choose who to interview? Is this only going to be a "bethesda-modders only" thing, or will they also reach out to modders for Witcher, Dragon Age, Xcom, ect.? Show some love to the little guys!

Do any mods work at all?
morbidslinky replied to JackHelix's topic in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's Discussion
Well, you'll first need Atvaark's GzsTool, which allows you to unpack .dat files, found in your \MGS_TPP\master directory. Extract the GzsTool somewhere easy to get to. The Asthma mod, and a lot of other mods, replace specific files in the .dat files. For the Asthma mod: Locate chunk1.dat and drag it into the GzsTool.exe. A command prompt will pop up and start unpacking the .dat file. Once the Command prompt closes, there will now be a folder named "chunk1_dat" in the directory, and an xml file, named "chunk1.dat.xml". Now, use WinRar or 7Zip to open up the "Cure Asthma for Female Soldiers.mgsv" file. Inside the file, there's a folder named "Assets". Drag the Assets folder into the chunk1_dat folder. Click yes to merging the contents. After that, take the chunk1.dat.xml file and drag it into the GzsTool.exe, like you did with the .dat file. A command prompt will pop up again. After the prompt closes, the mod should be successfully installed. That's about it, really. Hope this helps! -
Looks like I was completely wrong about the .exe thing. Glad you guys figured it all out!

Female mod?
morbidslinky replied to derpy1997's topic in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's Discussion
Infinite Heaven has "wildcard Soldiers" that spawn in freeroam, and a lot of them are women. I'd recommend IH if you're looking to bolster your female ranks. -

If all else fails, you can install them manually. There's only a few mods that would be tough to manually install, but the others would work. I really wish the Snakebite dev would come back to us. -
Weapon Sound Files?
morbidslinky replied to falloutkid12's topic in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's Discussion
You'll probably find it in common_bank_01.sbp, which is in chunk0\Assets\tpp\sound\asset. -
I combed through the files, but I think the FOB and online development items are hidden inside the game's .exe. I'm not sure if it can be helped with the resources that are currently available to modders.
