  1. This and Bodyslide does it for me. Finally no more skinny legs!
  2. Interior Lighting Overhaul can be tricky. Try running without it. Otherwise "verify integrity of game cache" on steam. If you "verify integrity of game cache" you'll have to redo the DarnUI inis again.
  3. Are the last three esps not in you're merged patch? If they are then your merged patch needs to be at the bottom.
  4. Last time this happened to me I had to remove a few mods to get out of Doc's house.
  5. Make sure you don't have any other gamepad programs running like x-padder.
  6. You have esps before esms in your load order.
  7. I don't know what's wrong here. I just downloaded a rar file with your link. I just extracted a folder from the rar file from your posted link by right clicking the rar file and getting the option to "extract here". I am able to extract these types of compressed files because I have 7-zip and or WinRar installed. Here just happens to be my desktop. The extracted folder contains files and text documents that all begin with NVSE. These need to be copied and pasted into your Fallout New Vegas folder. Then double click the executable you just pasted called nvse_loader.exe. This will launch FNV with nvse installed. You'll probably want to make a shortcut of nvse_loader.exe to your desktop.
  8. 7z is a program that lets you open 7z or 7-zip files or RAR files and various other compressed files.I use WinRar, but you already have 7z. Go ahead and double click the 7z.exe. That will install the 7z program on your computer. Now download your file. http://nvse.silverlo...se_4_2_beta4.7z You'll get a compressed RAR file. Right click it and since you have installed 7-zip you should now have the option to extract it. Extract the file to desktop just like Gopher does  Now you should have a folder on your desktop that can be double clicked and opened. copy and paste the files into your New Vegas folder just like Golpher did. Now double click the NVSE.exe . You'll wind up with an NVSE launcher on your desktop if you create a shortcut for it. Use it to launch the game. Hope that helps.
  9. I would pare down your load order until the game becomes more stable for you.
  10. Need more info. Mods? Sounds like a missing file. Try reinstalling.
  11. Use LOOT to sort your load order http://loot.github.io/ It doesn't know all the mods, but it will help. Use FNVedit http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34703/? It can find fatal flaws, missing files, conflicts, etc. What kind of rig are you running? Last time I had ILS I was trying to run too many script heavy mods for my rig. Had to cut back a little. Good luck, FNV is a great game!
  12. Your graphics card? You need a dedicated graphics card like Nvidia.
  13. Me too. Don't know if I would clean anything else, but cleaning the DLCs seems to be beneficial.
  14. I don't know much either, but the first thing I would try is change the load order so that PN is after EVE. Otherwise I would be very tempted to just drag and drop the PN red conflict loser over to the empty slot in the EVE column. A merged patch might help also.
  15. Maybe a missing file or ini change. Installing the Unified Hud Project might help http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38961/?
  16. Sorry. Should have mentioned that one file missing is normal. So your FNV data folder doesn't have any esps? FNVedit can usually find the reason for crash at load screen. The last time I had a crash at load screen I fixed it by reinstalling The Unified Hud Project (missing xml file or something). Smarter guys than me are here http://forums.bethsoft.com/forum/112-fallout-new-vegas-pc-issues/
  17. FNVedit can find mod conflicts. I think mods that change or use different races can sometimes cause dialogue problems.
  18. Try "verify integrity of game cache". Steam/FNV/properties/local files
  19. Wendy Gilbert is very good also.
  20. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54438/? Searching Type3 on FNV nexus mods works too.
  21. Yes. It really helped my game.
  22. You need to follow the instructions of the mod authors. After School Special and Time for Bed are missing their masters, other mods that need to be loaded before the mods that depend on them.
  23. Posting your load order would help. Underwater home requires NVSE, so make sure it's installed properly. FNVedit can be complicated, but its easiest and simplest use is to load your game and tell you if there's something wrong with your load order. Gopher made a series of video tutorials for modding FNV ultimate edition including one for NVSE and FNVedit
  24. Not really sure I know exactly what you're trying to do. Sounds like you know way more than I do. In the GECK are you loading multiple files? If I wanted something in an NPC's inventory I would load the mod with that item and my NPC mod, then put it in the NPC's inventory.
  25. You can try asking here too http://forums.bethsoft.com/forum/110-fallout-new-vegas-mods/
