  1. I think using vats in the heat of battle to take screenshots would be cool, but all the vats graphics kind of ruin the shot. I've managed to edit the inis so that all the vats graphics are gone except for the on target glow. I set all the vats ini numbers to 0. You would think vats wouldn't work at all, but in fact it's back to normal. I think a mod I reinstalled is overwriting the ini changes. Looked in the GECK, but it's all Greek to me. Maybe one of you smart guys can figure it out? A nice little esp at the bottom of my loadorder?
  2. Xpadder has a scheme to adjust the stick sensitivity http://xpadder.com/
  3. Maybe clean out your browser cache. Also, LOOT or any other mod tool for that matter isn't perfect. Did you follow M48A5's advice?
  4. Sounds like a missing file. Run FNVedit to find it http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34703/? Or maybe you can replace it by "verifying the integrity of game cache" at Steam/library/right click FNV/properties/local files/verify integrity of game cache.
  5. Pretty sure the unticked mods are the ones in your bashed patch.
  6. Thank you Silvist. It's all Greek to me, but it looks promising.
  7. OK then. Going yo keep an eye on the Games list :)
  8. Thanks brokenergy. I wonder what would be the incentive for Bioware and Dice to release a nice tool kit. I don't think there are enough people like me who would buy the game just because it was moddable. I guess if they made a zillion dollars on the vanilla game they might throw us a bone?
  9. Thanks Albeoris! Some hope then.
  10. Hmm, I would do a Pinnacle search of my files to make sure it was all gone. Disconnect the kb/m then reconnect. Smarter people are here: http://forums.bethsoft.com/forum/112-fallout-new-vegas-pc-issues/
  11. Your kb just doesn't work with FNV? Are you using Pinnacle or Xpadder?
  12. Did you verify the "integrity of game cache" on Steam? Right click on your game/properties/local files/verify the integrity of game cache.
  13. Will the game run without mods? I wouldn't clean FNV. If FNVedit isn't finding any errors or fatal flaws then try verifying integrity of game cache on steam.
  14. Still playing my heavily modded Dragon Age Origins and enjoying it immensely. Thanks to all you modders! I'm sure DAI will also benefit greatly from being modded, but I hear the Frostbite engine will be difficult to mod. What do you modders think?
  15. I've watched a few gameplay vids of Dragon Age Inquisition and think the game will need to be heavily modded for things like the UI, spell effects, etc.. Word on the street is that the Frostbite engine will be difficult to mod. What say you, modders?
  16. I've never cleaned anything in my heavily modded FNV. You should follow M48A5 and gromulos' advice. Also, if you can run around for a while you might have a memory issue. This might help http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35262/?
  17. Make sure you start up FNV at least once. If that doesn't help I would reinstall FNVedit.
