  1. Small feedback: It would be good if a new category for mod videos (not reviews, not interviews, but instead just showing off the mod, e.g. previews) was added. Right now they fall under "General" which is ... too broad.
  2. In response to post #8293801. #8294848 is also a reply to the same post. I ticked that box a long time ago, but yeah, still 60-70 % of all visible images on Nexus are of skimpy and anime girls. The "filter" system for the image section as it is now is basically useless. For me it's not about kids not viewing this, it's about that I simply don't like that kind of material. I'm not interested in looking at images I find perverted or weird. I personally like nice, normal scenery shots - similar to Bethesda's official screenshots - which is almost impossible to find unless you want to click through pages of panties and boobs first. As good as it is that you can block files on the Nexus, I think it's just as important to be able to block images. Right now the only option is to not to look at images at all.
  3. Good, thanks. But what about images? I very rarely visit the image section anymore because it makes me want to throw up. It would be so much better if images had tags or more detailed categories than the most commonly used "aethestics". That way people could block certain types of images they don't like (for instance skimpy, anime images which is like 60-70 % of all images on Nexus or something?).
  4. I have two ideas that I think would be useful. They mainly come from my own experiences. I am developing a huge weather mod and every now and then I upload images of it on my Nexus profile. The images have gotten a lot of attention and I see a lot of familiar people commenting and endorsing each image. So, if you're developing a mod which isn't released yet, I think two things would be useful in this case: 1) to be able to track a specific account, so you can get noticed whenver they upload a new image, a new file, etc. If you like what a person does, this could be really useful to be able to follow developments. 2) to be able to release modder articles, so you can tell everyone that visits your Nexus profile how for instance mod development is going. This could be useful when a file isn't uploaded yet. It can serve both as a form of telling news, and as a form of asking questions, having polls, etc. which people can comment on and share their feedback on. This would work like file mod articles. Although, this can be misused. It can be misused by people posting random articles that really has nothing to do with any mod development. However, I see no harm in this, since it's only shown on your Nexus profile and you can already post what random things you want in your "about me" page. Still, a solution to such misuse could be that you first have to start a hidden (non-published) mod page, and then add articles to that hidden mod, which in turn you can decide to be visible on your Nexus profile. That way, you'd have to connect articles to a mod, which would most likely remove most possible misuses. Not only would these things help everyone to follow people mod developments much, much easier on Nexus. It would also help the modders to gain more feedback, attention and hopefully also more encouragement with the mod development.
  5. My profile is updating again! Thank you Thandal and whoever that fixed it! I use Google Chrome.
  6. Good to know other people have the same problem. But will anything be done about it? It seems to have been ignored so far by the operators of this site...
  7. Excellent update with the unpublished feature. In fact, I'm going to start my mod page for my weather mod right now, but not publish it for a long, long time :) Thanks!
  8. I think this would be a good idea, if it's possible to implement on the Nexus sites. Sometimes you want to write a bit more to explain things better, but at the same time you don't want to force the reader to read too much. It would be good to have spoiler tags so the author can sort out what's less important than other things on the mod descriptions. Many mod descriptions are very, very long and spoiler tags would help the authors to make it shorter and less of a "wall of text". It doesn't have to be called spoiler tags, but it's commonly used so that's why I thought of it.
  9. So, Nexus staff, could you please fix this "freezing" of any updates on my account? It looks like it's a bug/issue from this site's part, because I have my site preferences correctly set.
  10. I click on "submit", and it says the preferences have been saved. But still, nothing new shows up on my profile updates window... I should mention that my profile updates were working before, but after 2 august 2012, they have stopped. The last update on my profile is from that date, and after that everything has just stopped showing up. No idea why.
  11. Ummmmm, if it's set to "Yes", then you've disabled any "Activity Updates"... :whistling: I meant that it was (and is) set to No :P Yet still nothing shows up.
  12. Thanks for the reply Hickory! I checked what you said, but strangely, it was already set to Yes... Any other ideas of what might be causing this?
  13. My profile (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/users/3485733) never gets updated. If I for instance upload an image (which I just did), then it doesn't appear under the "Updates" activity mini window on my profile page. Is there any way to fix this?
  14. Better tracking centre: I have like a thousand mods that I have tracked, and it's a pretty big mess in the tracking centre. Only the latest uploaded mods are shown first, and as far as I know there are no more options. I would want that improved. I think it could be useful to have an option that allows you to sort by what mods you tracked first in chronological order, as well as the other things you can sort by when you normally search for mods (endorsements, downloads, etc). Moreover, I think it could be even more useful to have an advanced tracking searcher that allows you to search in your tracking centre with category, description, etc (the same that the advanced searcher feature allows). This would be very useful if the user has for instance 10 tracked mods that alter dragons, and before he/she installs something that has to do with dragons in the game, he/she would want to see all the tracked mods that alter dragons to create a better overlook. Otherwise it would be easy to miss a tracked mod that alters dragon, because you can't find it amongst your 1000 other tracked mods. "Popular mods of the day & week" section: I think a section on the front page of the site that contains the most popular mods of the day & week like the Workshop would be a great idea. Perhaps even merge the two things together like the Workshop, so you can click on whether to show what's most popular this day or this week. Most popular would be rated by most endorsements (not votes, because far fewer people vote than endorse), I think. I think it's a very useful feature that quickly allows you to see what's best during the last day or week. This feature would also be very good if you've been away for a week and want to know what you've missed. Morever, and perhaps most importantly, it would give much more opportunity for mods that deserve it to be visible easier. I know there is "hot files" and "mods of the month", but these are so limited and only show 5 mods! A popular mods of the day & week section would rank EVERY mod by popularity since the day & week. In order not to "overshine" hot files and mods of the month, the section could be small, and imo under the mods of the month section of the front page. It could be first a popular mods of the week section, and then a popular mods of the day section (or it could be one section that you click a button to switch it, like in the workshop). They could show 5 mod names each on the section, and there could be a small text button that allows you to see more. If you click on it, it would transfer you to something similar to the most recent files, but sorted by most endorsements automatically. Sure, this is easy to do yourself in advanced search, but one of the major points is that it's on the front page and gives more opportunity for mods to be visible. It would also be faster than advanced search. In order to make the popular mods more different than the most recent files, you could also add small images next to each mods when you look through them (but not visible on the front page section).
