  1. What the crap is this box for ?
  2. @Nuvendile: Maybe I misunderstood what colourwheel was saying, but here is what I took from his/her comment: Lets say someone posts a mod - an armor mod. Its mostly cloth-based. Very little leather/metal padding involved. But nonetheless, its an armor. According to the current tag system (correct me if I'm wrong here), if 3 people tag that armor as 'unrealistic'... and someone has a tag restriction to omit 'unrealistic'... then the armor won't show up - because 3 people said it wasn't 'real' enough !?!
  3. Excellent point, colourwheel. Agreed :)
  4. @ciceqi: I got the same error, too.
  5. @storminmormon: I have thought it through. And I feel it is fair. If someone doesn't have the talent/resource/knowledge to make what they feel is a nice addition to the game, then they shouldn't complain about others who are doing just that. Should I gripe about the lack of new bows added to the game ? I see oodles of swords, but very few bows. No, I should be aggressive and venture to craft my own - and then share it with the community. Anyway, that's my view on all this - so many who gripe, so few who contribute. And realism, I've already stated my opinion. But I'd like to add that I feel its the least needed tag. A female going into battle wearing nothing but a bikini is no more unrealistic then that same girl - fully armored - shooting frost and flames from her hands. @Nephenee13: That's awesome. 30 mods ! I'm at 5, hope to finish at 7 before I throw in the towel. Kudos to you for your contributions. :) EDIT: And another "down rep" ! It's a two-for sale :)
  6. To all who gripe about skimpy armors. I get it, I do. But don't forget about Bethesda's own Forsworn armor. Or the female bandit get-ups. Not exactly full coverage. Better yet, don't gripe and filter out - make some non-skimpy armors. Post them to the Nexus and tip the scale in your favor. Its always boggled my mind how users are so quick to complain, yet contribute nothing in order to change what content is available. And realism ?!? There goes all mods dealing with magic, potions, shouts, powers, giants, werewolves, vampires, dragons, draugr, wispmothers, hagravens, dragonpriests, etc etc etc. Better tag those as 'unrealistic' too ! ;) EDIT: That's funny, I got my first "down rep" point ! :)
  7. This looks to be a nice upgrade to the site. Thanks so much :)
  8. Crap. I figured it was hard coded. Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm gonna take a peek at Lorecraft.
  9. Hey guys n' gals ! Haven't seen this done yet, so I wonder if its even possible. What I'd like to do is create a new armor material. More specifically, create a new category at the forge. I know that in order for any custom armor to show up at the forge, you must add an armor material in the Creation Kit. For example: armormaterialleather. This will allow the custom armor to be crafted under the "Leather" category at the forge. Also, you'd have to obviously create a recipe, too. I tried just making a new armor material, and called it "armormaterialXXX" and applied it to some existing custom armors. However, in-game, the custom armor just showed up under the "Misc" category at the forge. I wonder if there is a limitation/restriction that can be changed somewhere in the Creation Kit ? Any help is greatly appreciated. -brokefoot
  10. @mooquu Did I read Rokit 8's ?!?! Man... if you're gonna go budget monitors, stick with Mackie's MR mkII series. Just messin' with you. Now go get yourself some Genelecs :]
  11. Hey calyps ! H66N's Earrings Mod uses slots 44 and 45. Dragon Crown Dress/Corset mod uses 44 and/or 45 (can't remember for sure). That angel wings mod uses 44. The new Osare AutoMail uses slot 50. I've tried 46 and 47 for my personal mods and they work (for the torso). I hope this helps in some way (?). Speaking of this, I've got a UNP elven cuirass mesh that I would have switched over to a new slot... but it's got 2 partitions and not 1 like so many meshes have. I have tried and tried and tried to make that elven mesh work for a new slot, but I'm dead certain it's got something to do with it having two partitions (twins I tell you, twins !). If switched to new slot w/ nifskope + CK, I get total invisibility of the mesh in-game aka naked females. And I know what some of you may say, but I've done this with several other meshes (who only use one partition) and it works just fine. *bash head against wall*. Sorry to muddle the thread. If anyone wants the meshes/textures mentioned, then just PM me. I'd love it if it could be fixed. I had to mod a few other meshes so that I could use all these together (see pic). http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/imageshare/images/3575696-1331840940.jpg -brokefoot Sorry, calyps... I swear I won't muddle the thread anymore. ! :]
