Tell me about it.... :dry: ....I despise that Bethesda has done this, I don't play Mages and thus DO NOT want to join the College....But I have found a work around, you can avoid the College altogether....What you can do is just RP your Dovah as wandering as I do and "stumble" across Septimus Signus's Outpost and activate the Daedric Quest 'Discerning the Transmundane'....the College sends you here also....just finding the Outpost yourself allows you to skip the College inclusion, it will lead you to the Elder Scrolls you need.

I'm with AnkhAsendant on this....As a female I prefer playing males....though I prefer a handsome badass over a pretty badass myself... :P ....And never play as myself. I play a Male for two reasons...: 1/ Eye Candy....I play third person and would much prefer a handsome man's butt on my screen than some woman's, since I spend so much time with it in my face....gaming. 2/ I like the idea of the big, bulky tough guy Warrior...the ultimate Alpha Male I guess. As for Role Play....I personally don't feel any urge to play myself in a game, I prefer writing a story as such....My Dovahkin has a very thorough and deep back story and an in depth personality and a morality all of his own, he is not me, nor is he someone I want to be like, his too hash and primal for me....but I loved creating him and love trying to get inside his head and working on 'Now what would HE do next or how would HE respond'.

... :biggrin: ...That can be done... :biggrin: ...I rolled a Pacifist, she was an Illusionist....her specializations being Illusion, Restoration, Stealth, Speech, Alchemy, Alteration, Pick Pocket....I used a Mod to give her Illusion an extra shot in the arm. She 'Calmed' and then Pick Pocketed a key she needed off a Bandit, stealing all his coins while she was there.... :P ....Though she got the Key and the Coins, apparently it seems he had caught her after all, he then sent Hired Thugs after her....she 'Calmed' and then Pick Pocketed them too, robbing them blind.... :biggrin: ....It left me wondering how they were going to explain that to the Bandit.... :biggrin:...The Thugs never showed up again.

You do know guys, if you steal from these people they do have a very legit reason for sending Hired Thugs after you...you DID steal from them....how is that 'bullying' on their behalf?... :huh:

You stole from Anise's cabin, the small Cabin across the River from Riverwood....Moira is a Hagraven, you could possibly meet her later depending on what Quests you do.

Hello Demhilord... :happy: You do like your 'relative' questions.... :happy: .....Console Use....Me, I use it, I set my Dovahkins height with it, get him the ingredients and leathers, etc....to make his Armor, Weapons, Bling (Jewelry), Kits, etc....basically anything I feel he should really be able to have access to, instead on relying on some Smithy having the simplest and most base of products available....such as my Dovah's Bow is crafted with Firewood and Steel Ingots, Firewood can be ridiculously hard to come across in game, though your surrounded by Wood Piles and so thus I console the Firewood....Same goes for the Crafting Kits he uses....though in reality a 'Fire Lighting' Crafting Kit would just consist of just a Flint, the Crafting Kit calls for Fire Salts and so I console them and RP it as just a Flint. Many people use the console for all sorts of things....and many others will not touch it. I think so long as it enhances your game play for yourself there is absolutely nothing wrong with using the Console...this is a Single Player game, it's not as if you can 'Cheat' ....My only advice with Console use is so long as your not ruining your own game fun with it, then there's nothing wrong with it at all.....Do be aware though that some console commands, such as skipping Quests and such can harm your game. I have absolutely no idea about the Body weights, I'm sorry....I have never tried to pick a body up, so wasn't even aware of the issue....Interesting 'habit' by the way.... :P .... :biggrin: You got me stumped on your last comment....sorry, straight over my head.... :ohdear: ....I am left wondering about your Dovahkin's behavior though.... :biggrin: ....a Girlfriend AND a wife??.... :blink: .... :biggrin:

His being is defined by what he does - his entire purpose is to control and belittle those he can, by whatever means required, no restrictions. Skyrim case in point: He commands you beat someone with his mace, he dies. what does Bal do? Resurrects him so you can have another go at it - simply because he wants to hear the words "I submit" - after he gets what he wants, you get tasked with killing him anyway, again giving Bal what he wants - the soul of the very man you just killed (twice). So yes, what he does is horrifying - because in most cases, it works. He praises those with the strength of will to rise above others, in the case of the women selected for the ritual - being raped by him, surviving the ordeal and then continuing to exist shows him that inner strength - the reward? Their newly found Vampiric state and all the powers that go with it. Including - powers that involve some sort of controlling aspect (raise dead to fight for you, call animals for the same purpose, etc). I suppose that clarifies it rather well. I guess I just don't like Molag Bal then. :P Still, the way Serana says that "it was degrading" instead of "OMG! So painful, I have many scars from it!" is still a bit weird. I guess that's just the way she rolls. No, she actually delivers that line rather well and appropriately Billyro....it's not that common for a woman who goes through something so degrading, humiliating and painful event to want to relive it time and again in her mind....Most women want to get it as far from their memories as they can, separate themselves from the event as such...plus don't want to advertise their humiliation to the world....Serana's reaction is a lot more realistic than "OMG! It was painful!"....Most victims of such Crimes do not want to talk about it, do not want to re-live it....talking about it is re-living it, as you have to think about the details to make statements about it.

Babette also lives through destroying the DB...she simply isn't there...and as a Vamp, she can live forever. I am assuming you don't kill her if you join the DB also? If that's the case she could well be in the next TES game...who knows. What I would LOVE to do is be able to destroy Babette, Cicero and most of all the Night Mother, that would be awesome!.... :dance: ....Such a pity we can't.... :( I have to wonder if the ONLY reason she isn't killed is because she's a "child" and Bethesda decided to avoid that whole thing and that canon wise, she was killed. I am pretty sure her 'Child' status is the only reason she is not kill-able....I guess Bethesda had to tread carefully on children killing in their game, so took the easiest way out and just set them all essential, I can't really blame Bethesda, they don't need a sh*t storm from some fundamentalist group. I would honestly be disappointed if they just pass her off as dead though...regardless of the fact that I do want to kill it with fire....it is not a child, it's a 300 year old Vamp...but I would be annoyed if Bethesda writes into the story something that clearly doesn't happen.

lol...I hear you Tons on being Inventory OCD....I know I am. As for what I always do, my Dovahkin only takes home and keeps there what I can't bear to part with...: Flawless Gem Stones Dragon Claws Dragon Priest Masks Thalmor Death Squads and Assassins Note's DawnBreaker (though he never uses it) Azura's Star (never uses this either) Auriels Bow (never uses this either) Everything else is left behind, sold or thrown away. I keep Elder Scrolls too, though that's by default....I don't join the Mages College, so can't give them to the Librarian.

that sounds fantastic. What a challenge too, kudos to you for even trying it! Yeah ok, I'll give that a shot instead of the party leader. It sounds like it'll be difficult but awesome :smile: If you want any info on how I made her playable....the Mods I used, the Tomes consoled, protection choices for her....such as I used the Lord Stone, etc...I would be happy to give you the list.... :happy: ....Have fun, playing a Pacifist completely changes so much in Skyrim.

Like you I usually play a Sniper....he is also aggressive, courageous and pro-active. He aggression and courage actually gave me the idea for a new kind of character I decided to try and she proved very challenging and a whole lot of fun. She's a Pacifist....I RP'ed her as young, very scared and way out of her depth, in every way the complete opposite to my primary Dovahkin. I chose the Breton Race for her and admittedly had to use Mods and the console (Spell Tomes needed from the start) and drop down to 'Adept' to make her playable....Her specialties were 'Illusion', 'Restoration', 'Alteration', 'Speech', 'Stealth' and 'Archery' (Archery for the undead, the only creatures she killed....Draugr and Skeletons).....Illusion and Stealth proved the most essential....Her kill count for both Humanoids and Animals was tiny and all accidental. She was a lot of fun and a very unusual experience and so I would recommend trying out a Pacifist.... :happy:

Armors: Always simple Light Armors...Never wear anything other than Fur or Leather in both vanilla and Modded, my two favorite Mod Armors are 'Regal Assassin' and 'Shadow Ranger'. Weapons: Always Bows....The Ebony Bow in vanilla and Mods either the 'Black Mammoth Recurve' from 'Howie's Better Bows' or the the 'Hunters Roar' from 'Unique Bows'. For Role Play and personal preference reasons I never use anything enchanted. Poisons are always in use though.

There's no reason what so ever....it all just comes down to personal choice as to what we wish to have in our Games....Me, I'm a 'realism junkie' and so anatomically complete bodies with no glued on underwear is important to me....As an older adult I also do not take kindly to the silly morality of graphic beheadings, arterial blood spray, etc...are completely acceptable, but breasts, male and female sexual organs and sexuality is not.....And so I have complete bodies as par for the course in my game.....It's all just personal choice and what you want.

His brow doesn't look vanilla game wrinkled....but it's hard to tell given the quality of the pictures sorry.

zimxero...I can't speak for anyone else, but I am unsure myself as why you feel such Mods would be popular? 1/ It doesn't matter if Fast travel is enabled or disabled....if people don't wish to Fast Travel, they won't, it doesn't matter if the option is available or not, makes no difference. 2/ Who knows, this may be of interest to people.....I prefer to walk/jog myself. 3/ This is Fast Traveling...as for the Portal, all you have done is add bonuses to reward Fast Travel. 4/ I can't comment on that as my Dovahkin doesn't ride Horses. 5/ I would LOVE to see a night sky I can navigate by in Skyrim myself....that would be fantastic.

It's a funny thing as I read D00msday's post....our individual perceptions on 'realism'...Granted neither UNP or CBBE are very realistic, they are both idealized versions of a woman's form. But some of us seek as much realism as we are able to find for our games....myself included....thus I use the CBBE in my game. My reasoning, though both body types are not exactly common day realism....their both being much more the unusual than the norm, I guess maybe the end of the day it's what those bodies say to us. I use the CBBE due to the rounder form, large butt, fuller body, etc....as it is important to me that a woman looks like she is eating....I am a 43 year old woman with teenage daughters, the pressure I see put on my girls through advertising, etc...to starve themselves to fit the idealized rail thin under fed body type so revered within the Western Culture....the UNP is just too thin for my preference, looks under fed, doesn't look fit and healthy to me....I would rather see the big butt in my game, than rail thin.

This could be fun....I used to play RIFTS (table top game) and miss it....Will give this a go.... :happy: I can use my Skyrim character so long as his not a Dovahkin in this game?....He is very staunchly RP'ed in my game and has a fully developed back story and personality, moralities, etc...I would love to stretch his RP legs further.

Take my word for it, get this beast up and running first in your game, then decide if you want more of these sorts of Mods.....SoT (Sands of Time) can get extremely wild and have you drowning in blood depending on the settings you choose and how much action your Computer can handle....it's fully customizable. Plus due to SoT's size and all that it adds to your game it can get unstable if you try to pile too many of these sorts of Mods into your game....the Skyrim engine doesn't like 'spawns' much as it is and can lead to CTD's and other nasties happening to your game with out of control spawning...so I would strongly suggest starting with the one Spawning Mod, see how your Computer goes with it, play around with the settings and then go from there. There are a few Spawn Mods on Nexus, but SoT is certainly one of the biggest and most active ones.....you get a whole lot of action out of this Beast.... :devil: ...the Spawns are a lot tougher than the vanilla opponents....it's a killer.... :biggrin: EDIT: You might want to add this Mod to make the opponents smarter and thus harder still if you don't have a Combat AI Mod as yet....: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2700/?

Your one stop shop for a brutal hell on wheels game with as many spawns as you want and your PC can handle....prepare for a real fight though, these guys don't go down easy....Is AWESOME!.... :biggrin: Just ask the Modder if he still has a version available for downloading that doesn't require the MCM...I know there is one, but he may have a better later one available.
