  1. Oh yeah for some reason the fagegen folder is named "skyrim.esm" instead of my plugin's name. If I rename it the war paint and makeip apear again, weird.
  2. Right so I've replaced some of the vanilla NPC's appearences with my own and I've encountered three(ish) problems... Firstly, of course the old face color bug kicked in. I fixed it, but I got this instead: http://s10.postimage.org/e6zju9xoo/2013_03_02_00001.jpg I got this neck line thing on all the NPC's whose appearence I imported from player characters made from scratch or from mod presets, the ones whose appearence I altered from the vanilla face seem to work fine. I tried using the texture blending tool that came with CBBE as well as changing the file type from .esp to .esm (don't know why I thought that last one would work). The second problem is quite simple, the custom hair doesn't seem to appear on the NPC's that use custom hair, they apear bald. And lastly, I'm not sure about this one but the game doesn't seem to import the new body size as well, only the face? Any help would be much appreciated. EDIT: Forgot to mention the mods I use: -CBBE Body (custom, used Curvy as base), CBBE arnors (vanilla, Dawnguard, Dragonborn) and CBBE face pack (texture only) -Swapped the CBBE face mesh with No More Blocky Faces -Apachii hair (not used on any of these NPC's) + Ponytail Hairstyles (used on two NPC's, the hair doesn't show on ether)
  3. Here's a screenshot of the second problem: http://s10.postimage.org/e6zju9xoo/2013_03_02_00001.jpg
  4. I ran into two problems... Firstly, custom hair doesn't seem to show on NPC's, only the ones that use vanilla hair have hair at all. Secondly, I fixed the face / body color issue, but instead I got a transparent line between the neck and the torso for all NPC's except one. That one NPC was my first (test) NPC so I exported it's facegen while it had it's own .esm. Does that mean I have to make one plugin for every NPC? Any ideas? :(
  5. Nope, still getting minus to SPECIAL. Now I have (-) to Strength as well... da faq?
  6. No it doeasn't, why didn't you read the other replies -.-
  7. I don't know what the spells / effects are, I just want to get rid of all of them.
  8. Right so I'm getting -1 to Endurance and Intelligence and +1 to Agility. The Agility effect is from the Dead Money hat bug, but I have no idea where the others are from and I've been having them almost since I started my current save game. Tried checking my gear, my perks, any poisoning I might have, nothing suggests this. Any idea how I can remove all of my active effects? From console or otherwise?
  9. Nein :( Isn't there a way to get rid of all the scripted dead bodies? That would be my best bet. EDIT: Yep, it's related to the bodies, and probably the "Bloody Mess" perk. After I finished Dead Money all the bodies in the world were cleaned up, and the game worked normally again.
  10. What the title says, that's the long and short. Waiting / resting sometimes fixes it. I tried disabling every mod and starting a new game, doesn't fix it. I also have NVSE and every DLC. Also, for some reason dead bodies won't disappear... like, ever... Anybody know how to fix these? EDIT: I think they are related, I noticed that when fast traveling to Goodsprings (or exiting a building in Goodsprings) waiting almost never fixes it, and there are a lot of Powder Ganger bodies there from a quest. I tried disabling them from the console but it won't work for some reason.
  11. Bethesda employees must've been sleeping during Beta. I swear it's one problem after another with this f*ckin' game. This time the damn house from Morrowind Hearthfire won't build. I bought the schematic, crafted all the pieces, traveled around for a while, waited, rested blah blah blah and still nothing. Any way I can fix it? I don't care if it's cheating.
  12. It's not mod related, I'm having the issue too and I tried disabling all my mods and reinstalling Skyrim.
  13. Ok screw it, I tried disabling ALL my mods, tried verifying the crap through Steam and replacing bad files, tried reinstalling and re-updating the game completely... guess what... Nothing fixed it. Also tried tinkering with the frame rate, set it very low or very high, nothing brought back the floor. EDIT: Tinkered with the console too, the middle section of the barracks isn't solid, the sides are. From what I hear it could be an incompatibility between SMIM and Enhanced Light FX. Problem is I tried disabling all my mods AND reinstalling Skyrim, even if the world stopped making sense all of a sudden that still would have fixed it :-/
  14. Sorry for the late reply. No I haven't veriyed, Steam always removes important stuff when I do.
  15. After updating Skyrim to 1.8 I noticed all sorts of clipping problems, mainly invisible walls near doors and the occasional "fake wall" in dungeons that allowed me to exit the map. No big issues until I tried to do the "Ill met by moonlight" quest. When I enter the Falkreath barracks I fall through the floor, none of it is solid. I haven't tried disabling all of my mods because the game crashes when I do (and it doesn't really help anything if I have to run Skyrim without mods), and the only mod I could think of that might cause this would be the Static Mesh Improvement mod, I tried disabling it and nothing. Other than that I have a few player homes but I installed them after encountering this problem. Also, I only have mods that were updated or checked for Hearthfire and 1.8. What I noticed after updating to 1.8 is that BOSS gave me this message: Contains dirty edits: 52 ITM, 1 UDR records. Needs TES5Edit cleaning. (Cleaning guide) For update.esm, dawnguard.esm and hearthfires.esm. Ideas? EDIT: Forgot to mention, I've had some of these clipping issues in custom player homes as well, likely a global issue.
  16. makes sense considering skyrim owes the dragonborn for its very existence... the jarls you worked against should also stop sulking, as they'd probably be dead if it weren't for the dragonborn Yep. Or at least, allow us to assassinate some or all the new jarls and let the old ones return.
  17. Would be nice if you could change what jarl is in charge of every hold. Regardless of the war allegiance. I don't know why Betty thought it was a good idea to make it so that whichever side of the war you chose, half the jarls that are in charge afterwards are always a*sholes...
  18. Co-op would be win. Multiplayer... not so much. Though I think Skyrim should get it's s*it together in singleplayer before anything else :P
  19. Neither. Armor is too slow and noisy regardless of type, 99% of my kills are one hit, don't need it. I was gonna use the Ebony Mail but to my surprise it was actually the worst stealth armor possible. Not only it's classified as Heavy Armor for some reason, but those stupid poison effects also block vision (it's a pain to use a bow with that thing) and I always have to take it off when I brawl cause otherwise the guards get umad at me.
  20. It works. Makes no sense but works, thanks.
