Since a search for "horns" doesn't get many results, I'd suggest looking at race and armor mods. I've found quite a few different kinds that way. One set I know of is by R18PN/NPR (member name here is KURESE) and is part of one of his/her armor mods. You might also try searching for "demon."

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36883 If you know how, you can throw away the esp file and make a new one that is not dependent on the high heels file, provided you have a compatible skeleton installed.

I used to have errors like that (the hair) when I had a Radeon video card. Some cards just don't render the hair properly. As soon as I switched to Nvidia the problem resolved itself. Now back when I had the Radeon card was when I made the first version of my cosmetic pack. It was based off of some other mods that were fixed to work with Radeon cards. (Note to moderators: Yes I had permission to release everything at the time this mod was new.) You can try it and see if it works and if it does then at least you'll know what the issue is. Unfortunately I don't know of a fix other than to just use hairs that are set up to work properly with the card that you have. You can find the old version of the cosmetic mod here: http://www.mediafire.com/?zhzwh9mhj4g As for the water, you can make it look better if you increase your settings in the game. You can also search for some ini settings to help with the water.

There are some good looking ones in this mod. I have a video where I was testing them on a custom race if you'd like to look before downloading.

This isn't it, but it's similar by R18PN/KURESE/NPR http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32413

Just for kicks and giggles, I'd suggest going down that mod list in the launcher and look to see if any of those mods depend on any .esm files other than Oblivion.esm. Insta-crash upon launch is also a symptom of missing master files and the fix is to either remove the offending mod or install the needed master file.

Dark Seducer and Golden Saint Race Help
SavageArtistry replied to wildwilliam's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
If you mean Oblivion closes right away when you try to open it with that mod installed, just remove it from your Data directory. The description mentions a master file being required and instant crashing is a symptom of a missing master file. What I plan to do myself is yank out the sound folders only and see if I can get them to work with another mod. If it does I may come back with a different suggestion. You're right that it does sound complicated from the mod description (plus I rather like the race/cosmetic pack I am using - took me too long to put it together to give up on it now). -
Dark Seducer and Golden Saint Race Help
SavageArtistry replied to wildwilliam's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
I saw this recently that might help with the problem, but haven't tried it myself. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39593 -
Have you tried searching in the downloads area using the keyword "map?" There are so many variations I cannot begin to recommend them to you. As far as I know the colored map icons are separate downloads unless there's some kind of pack in there that has a whole set. Browse and see what suits your taste. Bah, nevermind. Didn't see there was another whole page. I need coffee this morning.

Blackmarsh Witch. Here or Here, depending on if you prefer it as clothes or armor.

Alternative Start Arrive by Ship. I've also been using this alternate start mod for some time. Some people report bugs with it but it seems to work all right for me. It has many options to choose from. Edit: :ninja: 'd X2

Questions about hair/race mods and replay value
SavageArtistry replied to rinoaff33's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
This is one way to do it and how I do it but it's very tedious. There may be some other ways using some programs other than the CS. http://www.squidoo.com/the-elder-scrolls-iv-tutorial-merging-a-race-mod-into-an-existing-cosmetic-pack -

Pretty sure I saw one like that in Apachii's Goddess Store or Heroes Store.

You may not find something exactly the same but I know I've seen elven armor variations that look similar (maybe search for "elf, elven or ranger" in the armor sections). You may also be able to find that scarf somewhere. I'd point it out but I don't remember what it's called, if it's just "scarf" or something else.

New Custom Race Problems :(
SavageArtistry replied to 19logan91's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
The imprint is on the normal map. Either generate a new one from the head texture you altered or substitute one from a race that doesn't have the tattoo. -
http://www.slofslair.co.uk/index.php?page=modarticle&modarticle/id=5wuxf33y8os Replaces all the body textures with Robert's Male and Female. No HGEC versions and there won't ever be. No HGEC versions of Slof's mods. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of HGEC high res female versions by other people, so one can grab the male version from there and the female from here or elsewhere.

Horse Saddle different from Horse Armor?
SavageArtistry replied to VGI's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
You can't sell any horses unless there is some mod that can do it. Of course you could always open the console, click the horse, type "disable" and make it go away, then use the console to give yourself money as if you'd sold it. (player.additem f #) If you want to add a saddle or saddlebags or reins to the horse then you need to edit the .esp file that adds or affects the horse. It's very easy. You basically just tick off the parts you want your horse to have. For example, I have a bunch of miscellaneous horse-related meshes I got from different mods. As long as they are in the Meshes\Creatures\Horse folder they show up in this checklist. http://i52.tinypic.com/24oc6s6.jpg -
Yes, I believe that Modular Beautiful People has the Saram and Corean hairstyles, but with so many to sift through on my computer, especially because my game lags when doing character generation, could you tell me which one specifically? The one I'm thinking about was in the Corean mod. You could preview it in Nifskope, but unless the file name corresponds with the name assigned to it in the mod it may not help to preview. Since I only used the meshes from that mod I do not know what names Idkrrr used for the character generator.

downloadable messenger for modders and requesters
SavageArtistry replied to FallenHeroX's topic in Site Support
Simple enough. Get yourself a universal chat client (Trillian, Pidgin, Digsby) then go to the profile of whomever you wish to chat with and see if they have made any chat nicknames public. Then all you have to do is stike up a conversation. -
There's a side ponytail by Idkrrr in some of his/her released races if you want a smaller download than MHE. http://www.tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=639883

Looking for a specific Vampire mod
SavageArtistry replied to strike105x's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
I like Scorn's Vampirism (the revised version). It has some features similar to Unholy Darkness as far as powers go but doesn't by itself do anything to your vampire's appearance. -
As the creator of the Gothic Breton race, I can tell you where to find it. I don't know what customizations VictoriaG has on the race, but there are already 2 versions out there so take your pick. Removed. Links are dead. See my profile for a new link. If you want higher resolution body textures than what comes with the race, download the body textures from the Lattamer race. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16396 You'll probably have to rename them so that you can overwrite the original Gothic Breton textures.

That's because the site is gone. Here's the page saved in .mht format. Have to use Internet Explorer to read it. http://www.mediafire.com/?pt9u7s33qd7mbdj Kogane's tutorial is here: http://tesadventures.com/forum/index.php?topic=1682.0;topicseen
