  1. Thanks for the comment, what if I were to modify an old enb onto the latest enb binaries? Would it work, if so, what files should I keep and which not? All the recent enb are not too much of my taste, it's too cinematic.
  2. Hello, I am looking for an enb that looks the most realistic possible and that is also compatible with TTW, URWLNV, interior lightning overhaul and FNV Realistic wasteland lightning. When I use an enb that isn't compatible with TTW, I get problems such as messed up textures when in the Fallout 3 World and I can confirm that it comes from the enb. When I use an enb that isn't compatible with URWLNV it generally just isn't beautiful, the experience is too different and not good. And for the two others, I guess it must be the same as second but I have never tested it to confirm it. So if someone has an idea of a great enb that looks realistic (no need to be 100% realistic, just the most realistic possible) then I'm all ear! I don't want an enb that is cinematic. Thanks to anyone who will give me suggestions based off what I want.
  3. Why shouldn't i use the automatic sorting? Not like i can anyway but if i could, would it bring problems, if so, what kind of problems? Would i be better using the New Vegas profile? I've been using the NV profile before even when using TTW so what's the point in using the TTW profile? And i know, but isn't there a way to change what ini files it uses, if i can change it so it uses the oirignal ini files, i should be able to launch the game via Steam. Thanks for the help.
  4. Hello, i have three questions using Mod Organizer 2, i am not too used with it yet so those questions may be a bit stupid. 1. I have a problem with black textures appearing after a time or where there's too much stuff, i'm sure it is because i have too much files on data (not esp but textures) but i got told to enable, disable and repeat, ArchiveInvalidate, but how can i do this? 2. I use the TTW profile, if i use the NV profile, Mod Organizer 2 can sort out the plugins for me but when i am on the TTW profile, it says that it is greyed out and says it is not supported, why? Isn't there any way to make it compatible? If not, is there any difference between using the NV vs the TTW profile? 3. How can i make it so it uses the original ini files? Problem is when i launch the game via Steam, it doesn't uses the inis from the MO2, how can i make it so it uses the inis from the game instead of those MO2 creates? I know i saw the archive invalidation somewhere but i can't remember where. Any help would be welcome!
  5. Leading to the kind of problems I'm having right now? Wouldn't the textures already be black right from the start if it was the case? I'm not sure I understand too well about this specific part but I will try it, If it does not work I will simply optimize the textures hoping it will be enough. Thanks a lot for the help guys, hopefully it will help with the problem I have.
  6. All right, I will try that, thanks for the reply. But just wondering, how can toggling archiveinvalidation on and off again changes anything? This isn't the first time I hear about that, but why exactly is it like that?
  7. I have other problems when setting it to false so that's why i left it on. And i could try the archiveinvalidation but i'm not sure i remember how using ModOrganizer 2, any idea? And do you have way above 80gb of files just in textures? Because i do, how much do you have approximatively in your texture folder? I have 94GB in the texture folder, it's on an SSD through which really helps. I don't know how MO2 works, I still use FOMM. If you're using MO2 I wouldn't try using FOMM's archiveinvalidation, they may work in different ways and mess things up. The reason I questioned the memory thing is I have NMC's large textures along with a load of other stuff and I was playing at 8K with 8xAA for a few hours just to see how well it ran, it was a bit stuttery which suggests the game was overloaded but no black textures. How much VRAM do you have? I know the game acts up when you run out of it. I have 16gb of ram and the gtx 1080 ti so about 10gb of vram, should be enough shouldn't it? Should i grab 16gb so i could have a total of 32gb of ram and 10 vram? And i wonder, does it really work to turn on and off archiveinvalidate many times? Why would it change anything? How many times should i do it? Edit: Just to add, it is also on an SSD.
  8. I have other problems when setting it to false so that's why i left it on. And i could try the archiveinvalidation but i'm not sure i remember how using ModOrganizer 2, any idea? And do you have way above 80gb of files just in textures? Because i do, how much do you have approximatively in your texture folder? I use a 4k TV, but i guess it is better for them to be smaller and not as beautiful than having black textures almost everywhere.
  9. Yeah i know, such a shame that they had to make it "playable" for the Xbox and Playstation instead of actually making something great for the PC. Well, i think i'll simply optimize/compress the textures, do you think it will be enough?
  10. My computer is recent and has great specs so is there anything I can do or there's really nothing we can do but rush into Bethesda offices and get our hands on the source so we can compile it into 64bit? No but seriously, is there nothing that can be done? It'd be really sad if nothing could be done. And my bad M48A5, I posted this on other forums too and I may have forgot to add it on here too.
  11. I already know all of that, if you read my post, you'll see that i'm already using 4gb exe and enb boost, but isn't enb boost supposed to help more than that? If so, i have to change some settings, but which ones and to what?
  12. Hello, i decided to get back on New Vegas recently, but i had lot of problems running it. I'm using the new NVTF - New Vegas Tick Fix mod that replaces NVSR. Because i had too many problems with NVSR (crashes at new/load game, crashes, freeze, etc). Now with it it seem to work well, now depending on what i edit on enblocal.ini it can either lag a bit or not too much. nvse_config.ini looks like this: [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=400 scrapheapsizeMB=256 enblocal.ini [PERFORMANCE] SpeedHack=true [MEMORY] ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true DisableDriverMemoryManager=false DisablePreloadToVRAM=false EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=true ReservedMemorySizeMb=256 VideoMemorySizeMb=27488 EnableCompression=false AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true The sr_New_Vegas_Stutter_Remover files has been removed. NVAC (New Vegas Anti Crash) is still there. So like i said, my primary problem right now is the black textures appearing out of nowhere when it does not have enough memory because of the game being 32bit. I was wondering, is it possible to make it run without that kind of problem, no stutters or lag and no crashes (at least not too often) all at once? The answer is probably yes but how? Is there some new mod i'm not aware of? Otherwise, what configs should i use? I want to fix the problem, not bypass it with let's say, compressing the textures. I have a very good computer so i hope to make all of that run almost flawlessly. Any help is welcome.
  13. I have not downloaded latest WRP version though, but thanks for the notice though, but i prefer WMX compatibility, and i guess there won't be any for the newer version considering it's pretty much dead. And for the landscape, i'll check this out, thanks, i'm sure it has to do with different textures not being "compatible" with each other but i can always check out the guide, especially if it fixes the problem so thanks.
  14. Once all three of your INI files are looking the same, then toggle your mod manager AI and see what (if anything) has changed. My "Wrye Flash" modified version of that section in the default INI follows (for comparison only): Note the sequence is different and "Fallout - AI!.bsa" is the name used by WF for it's AI BSA file. Expect your AI BSA filename to possibly be different as well. -Dubious- I think it was working all this time, it's just that Wasteland HiRes Clothing isn't that great actually. For WMX + WRP, i'll check it out, not the first time it does that to me, i already fixed it once, but if you know what's the exact problem, i'd appreciate it, that'd save me some time, wmx + wrp + wrp gra compatibility. But since i'm here, i'm having a small problem which is not immersive at all. https://imgur.com/a/R6rnjSO I've downloaded lot of textures for my game, problem is, there are some that doesn't work together, look at the two screenshots, you'll understand what i mean, i tried replacing everything with NMCs but nothing. So do you have any idea which mod i could download so everything that is "ground" would work altogether? Something lore-friendly and well made, if possible, well optimized too.
  15. Even when i verify cache of the game, it never give me the default Fallout_default.ini but one that i have modified even though Steam cloud is disabled for that game. So i tried adding only: [Archive] SArchiveList=Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa but it still doesn't works, what else am i missing?
  16. No need to use standalone LOOT, it's already built into Vortex. I noticed it, thanks, but what about the other informations i need?
  17. Hello, i'm having problems with custom textures, some works, some other not, yes everything is installed well and well, that's not realy the subject, someone on the Nexus told me that it may be because i have too many "archive invalidation". I'm using more than one mod launcher and used different archive invalidate. Is it really the cause of the problem? I don't know of yet, but it probably is. So i decided to download Vortex since it looks good, it will be the only one i'll be using (and LOOT), i'll reinstall everything from scratch but i'll keep my inis. So here's my question, supposedly that the archive invalidate on Vortex is better than every other because you don't have to enable / desable it every time, is it true? Also, what should i do exactly? All in order. Do i need to activate it in the Vortex? Someone said that we don't need to, i just want to be sure. Settings -> Workarounds -> BSA Redirection. and then MODS -> Enabled - Vortex Archive Invalidation. So far so good? Next, i entirely removed [Archive] and its content from FalloutPrefs.ini and FalloutDefault.ini and changed everything in Fallout.ini to: [Archive] SArchiveList=Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa Is it good or not? I still have the texture problem but i guess i'll have to reinstall but i want to be sure that i do the right thing after reinstalling the game so i don't have to reinstall it again. Should i add "bInvalidateOlderFiles=1" and some other lines back? I hope that someone will be able to answer me what to do in order, i'd really appreciate the help, thanks!
  18. So what should i do exactly? I know that i have to delete configs but which ones exactly? I mean, i do have to get rid of all those "archive invalidation" right? From what i understand, it's not in the Fallout ini in Documents but somewhere else? Because even if i delete those, nothing happens, still the same problem. I know i installed them right and in the right location, always installing my mods manually, never had a problem with that so that's not the problem. For FalloutCustom.ini, i knew i did not need it to run the game so i deleted it, but of course, i kept it for a while, i still have a backup of it, just not using it. So from what i understand, i don't need to apply any kind of archiveinvalidation since all the mod managers does it automatically? Is that it? Even the old FOMM.exe? It's been released in 2010 so, and you do have to activate it via the settings of the launcher. Should i change to another mod launcher or this one is still good after all this time? Or should i change and if so, to which one? For example, if i put a new texture, i have to switch it off then on again, i put a new one, i do it again. But if i put all of the textures i want all at once, i can do it only once (doing archive invalidate)? Also, do i really have to delete my three ini? I edited them with lot of stuff i'd like to keep, when i was talking about deleting cfgs, i was thinking about some other files because even if i delete those, it doesn't change a thing, for example, i activate archive invalidate with Nexus manager, doesn't it saves some kind of configs somewhere? That's the configs i'm talking about. In order, what should i do exactly? Deleting the ini isn't enough, i guess i'll have to reinstall everything from scratch? Is that it? Do i need to go even further? Deleting FNV stuff from the registry for example? Thanks for the help, appreciated, i really want to fix it because it's sure is annoying. Edit: I'll now be using Vortex, some people says that unlike everything else, it does it automatically, so you don't have to switch it off then on. Is it true? If so, does it works with New Vegas specifically? And does it have to be off or on (at all time)? Thanks

  20. Hello, i wasted hours and hours of my life trying to fix this problem. I got new problems and errors that i kinda fixed but now i'm back at where i start. I have some custom textures that works while some other doesn't, Pipboy textures replacer (no esp) works while most of the rest doesn't. Weapons Retexture + wmx worked before but not anymore, never been able to make wasteland clothing retexture works and some of the other stuff doesn't work. weapons retexture + wmx works only for few weapons when actually modding with all the weapon mods. Yes everything is installed properly, no i don't get red, purple or whatever errors, i only get the original textures and for some such as the weapons (wrp) messed up textures but no red errors either. I think i'm able to fix the wrp error but what's really pissing me off right now is why it won't work, no matter what i do, no matter what i change, nothing. I use the gold ol' mod manager (FOMM.exe), i had the Nexus manager on my computer but uninstalled it, i don't know if it left some cfg or something i should remove, other than that, i do have Mod Organizer installed but never used it with New Vegas, i did used LOOT though, also, i recently installed Vortex (new mod manager from Nexus), i'm telling about them in case it may have to do something with them. I tried reinstalling and all, nothing. I tried the two archive mods found on the Nexus, nothing. I tried adding the same thing in all three ini (i also had an ini called FalloutCustom.ini, no idea why considering i've never seen it before, deleted it and it never created itself again, probably was created because of some tools). Here's what in all three ini. [Archive] SInvalidationFile=ArchiveInvalidation.txt iRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1 iRetainFilenameStringTable=1 iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1 bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0 bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 bUseArchives=1 SArchiveList=Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa I also tried with [Archive] SInvalidationFile= iRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1 iRetainFilenameStringTable=1 iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1 bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0 bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 bUseArchives=1 SArchiveList=Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa and [Archive] SInvalidationFile=ArchiveInvalidation.txt iRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1 iRetainFilenameStringTable=1 iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1 bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0 bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 bUseArchives=1 SArchiveList=Fallout - AII-FNV!.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa also tried with different named .bsa (ArchiveInvalidation!.bsa for example, etc) but they're all the same in the end. Can someone please help me!? I'd really appreciate if someone has the answer i'm looking for!
  21. Yes, but i'm kinda confused and that is why i'm asking the opinion of people and if possible a short and easy-to-understand comparison.
  22. Hello, i've been using Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul for a while now, but recently AI Overhaul got ported to SSE.I've never seen AI Overhaul except recently. I'd like to have informations on both, what both does exactly, if one do something that the other not does not, if one of the two do annoying things too and a comparison between them. A short description between the two will do. I'd also like people's opinions on both of the mods. What i'm looking for is a mod which will make the AI dance in INNs, sing, talk, ... do stuff that people would normally do. You know, immersion. I know that Citizens does it, but does AI Overhaul does it too? Also, smarter AI, using more tactics and all that kind of stuff. If you're too lazy to tell me the difference between both, at least tell me which one you prefer and why. Thanks!
  23. So here's my question, i do not know if it already exist or not but i have already done my search and couldn't find anything. So what i am looking for is a mod which makes the crafting menus "static" and by that i mean, something so it does not take so much time loading the whole menu. When it comes to building or crafting, it takes lot of time loading its content and it lags, instead of 60 fps it goes down to 30 or less. So what i would like is something to make those menus less consuming if you see what i mean, something like fallout: new vegas or even skyrim. If it already exist, i would really like to get a link! Otherwise, could anyone work on that? If i could make a suggestion to someone, do you know any modder which would be fit for this kind of work and who'd be willing to make one? Thanks! Note: If you know a way so it does not lag anymore and that it stop taking that much time then i'm here and listening, texture optimizer doesn't seem to get the job done so that's already a no.
