Latest Steam Update Interferes with Creation Kit
menathradiel replied to Allannaa's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I'm glad that someone else has noticed this problem. It's really frustrating while trying to mod. I usually keep two copies of the file I'm working on open in separate editors so I can play around in one and keep the main mod file clean. I can't figure out why Steam thought that it was necessary to only allow one copy of a tool to be open at any given time. Ugh. -
I keep getting corrupt archives when downloading. 4 out of the 5 files I downloaded this evening were corrupt and 7zip refused to open them.

I have to say thanks for this post. I've been looking everywhere for an answer, this has been driving me crazy!

This sounds brilliant, I'd love something like this.

LE Clothing that isn't going to give my female character frostbite.

Where can I get this dress? Edit: Never mind, I found it. -
And according to Micheal Kirkbride the Heresy is right. Also it is hinted at in a Skyrim quest. Which quest, if you don't mind me asking? I wasn't saying which was right, btw, just that the "official line" (in game) is that he was born in Atmora. I like the version where he is a Breton, since it makes me feel less strange that my dragonborn is also a Breton.

Isn't there a book that says he was born in High Rock as Hijalti Early-Beard? I think that would make him a Breton, but it's really hard to say with TES lore... The Arcturian Heresy. As the name suggests, that's not the official story. According to the Pocket Guide to the Empire, he was born in Atmora.

Who's Your Favorite Skyrim Character?
menathradiel replied to SlimShadyIzMe's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Cicero - I really really didn't like him when I met him on the road outside of Whiterun. What can I say? His joyful giggling about killing people won me over. -
Can't say I have that problem, just the usual stuff (hello, floating mammoth). I was actually really surprised that my computer was able to run Skyrim at more than the lowest settings because it's pretty old now and could use a newer graphics card and processor.
