Did you find a fix? I have this problem as well. All I do is switch profiles back and forth. Once that's done the saves are correct in most cases.

I know this is old, but did anyone find a fix? I have paid the crime gold with console and it works for about 1/2 second then he attacks again. They say after they kill me that these vampire attacks need to stop, but I am no vampire. I haven't even started the vampire quests and I haven't any diseases. This is killing me! I have no idea how long this has been an issue, I travel around out of Imperial territory without a problem. I am at my wit's end here. Stormcloaks seem to like me and I haven't even picked a side yet. I am trying to stay away from the main quest lines and just explore.

Can I just go back to using NMM for SSE? All the files are still in place in the NMM install. It just will not run.

OK I see you guys are finished trashing each other, can we try to answer the real question? Maybe you did for the original guy, but my issue isn't helped by this so far. I DID read the warnings about moving my mods from NMM to Vortex, and I suppose I failed to heed said warnings. Now I cannot reverse my choices after MANY hours of making the Vortex errors go away. My SSE will not start with SKSE64. It starts fine vanilla but of course the saves need all my mods running. I know I need to start fresh with a new game and a new Vortex, but I use Vortex for Oldrim and it works spectacularly. I just want my old NMM back for SSE! PLEASE help! I have all the updates and am using all legal files. Maybe (most likely) I missed something.

OMG thank you for the info on "simply knock" I wasn't getting that error message but I DL'd the updated version and it worked perfectly. Thank you thank you.

Damn, there's a lot of us old farts modding Skyrim, Bethesda in general. I am 56 and having a great time with games, thanks to ALL the mod builders! I am so happy, they keep the game fresh for me. Over 2500 hours and loving it. Thanks NMM.

You and the mod authors are the best! I can't tell you how many mods I have, (embarrassed) but I HAVE to check this site every day to find new ones. It makes my Skyrim experience so much better. I really think you guys have done an awesome job, and I give my small "donation" as often as possible in the form of being a Premium Member. I hope more people will do the same. Great job, and I probably would not have over 1700 hours of game time without NMM and the NEXUS.

Just wanted to let you know I have the same problem as well. My game just crashes, not to desktop, but freezes. I also have all those hair mods as well. Thanks for all your work in the testing. I guess I'll just NOT use Galathil. Shame we have to put up with some of this stuff. I guess that's the price we pay for modding the hell out of this game. (I have about 100 mods) Good luck.

Check online, there is a clothing mod that messes with it.
