  1. Nexus is absolutely unbearable today, was there a mad rush to upload/install mods for these two new game page additions?
  2. Not sure how many followers you currently have? You can use the console to clear them all but since you are using a multiple follower mod not sure if it will affect that? Many of my followers are designed to sandbox in the location where they were left. I recommend using the journal feature in the main menu or simply writing down their locations before clearing them. I have actually not got to play the Dawnguard DLC yet, I am too busy with updates and requests here lately.
  3. Threw my Advil deep into my desk drawer! Thanks so much for doing this, I hate guessing when trying to help my mod users. :)
  4. In response to post #7704134. #7715048 is also a reply to the same post. Ah okay will give it a try.
  5. Saw this new blurb and tried making a forum thread for issues and concerns on one of my mods but it only had five views 3 days later. I think people want to place their comments where the most people will see them so they gravitate towards the main thread. I think it's a grand idea to create different threads in theory but in practice people don't use them for whatever reason. I can safely say that 90 percent of my mod users with minor issues are just not bothering to read the mod description or sticky's. It can be very frustrating at times answering the same question over and over again but then again the Nexus is of many cultures and languages so I take those into consideration when I read and reply to a users comments or concerns. My point is that even I created a sticky with a link to the forum for problems and issues only about 40% of the people using my mod would bother looking at it and probably half that would use it.
  6. Good to know, I sort of figured it out on my own shortly after a hasty "Where the hell is the hide button?" post on the forums. Thanks again for the information Dark0ne.
  7. I'm a face/companion modder and I do it for my own amusement. I have files that have 10K downloads and 100 endorsement which for a companion mod that is not standalone isn't really that bad but it shows a certain lake of effort from the Nexus community as far as I am concerned. Making an original looking, unique and fully functioning companion is a lot more time consuming than most people think, making an interesting mod page can take almost as much time as the mod itself but it gives the mod a professional feel. My point is this, have there been times that I have felt like throwing the towel in because I don't see much appreciation from the community, well yes. I have come to the realization that if I make my core users happy that is all that really matters. People nowadays aren't as appreciative as they used to be and that is a fact. I endorse most all of the mods I have downloaded even if they ultimately do not work for me. I do this to foster the creativity the mod author has shown in his or her mod. I also look at mods as an expression of that author. I might not always agree with their final work but I feel like an endorsement is the least I can do for them and who knows it may spur the author on to improve and make something that really adds to my game. Please endorse your mods, it's not like it costs anything and being human it is amazing how such a little (and free) gesture can make someone's day.
  8. I think that an overhaul of the endorsement system is an excellent idea and well needed! (insert Huzzah!) I also really like the idea of turning off the ads for a small fee for supporters. I think you should make the fee a little higher honestly as it seems a bit low. I am sure most of the supporters would be happy paying up to 5.00 for the opportunity to cruise the Nexus ad free while helping you with your rather costly updates.
  9. Same stuff happening to me and been like that for a week, login issues, multiple download attempts and only here on Skyrim Nexus. I hope they are fixing whatever is broken because if its like this when Dragonborn comes out you wont be able to touch this place with a 10 foot pole.
  10. Thanks for the add and Kudo's tattooedillusions!
  11. I just tried to access the Steam Skyrim achievements page and it says: Sorry The Steam Community is currently unavailable. Please try again later. Error 503 Service Unavailable XID: 2053745425 Could it be a sign??? To make sure I reloaded and closed the page a couple times as well as checked availability on a couple other games. Skyrim is the only one that throws this message, my fingers are crossed!
  12. If you have this game through Steam try validating your Skyrim game cache under properties. It should detect what is missing and re-download them to your computer.
  13. I might suggest giving the NPC Editor a shot. As long as you have the BSA and ESP files in your game you should be able to open the ESP file with the NPCE and save over it (I would make a new file in your Documents folder and zip the two files together "esp and bsa" then do a manual install with the NMM). I would then remove your old files and replace them with the new ones. I have made close to 100 NPC mods with the NPCE with about 52 uploaded here on the Nexus and never had what you are describing happen with any of my changed NPC's or replacers. Edit: Guess what? I just came across the same issue as you have, I remembered I installed the Unofficial Skyrim Patch Sunday. I removed it and all my replacers are back to normal! Too funny
  14. Because they know that most of us will buy this DLC the moment it comes out, whether its next week or next month. I really don't see any of us holding back once it's here. It's all good to say things like wait for a sale, hold off or boycott etc. but we are all still addicted to Skyrim or we wouldn't be here a year later.
  15. 500 Internal Server Error nginx back at you! lol Happy New Year to all at Nexus
  16. I got a strange bug where both my PC and current follower had a blue glow around their eyes that would not go away. I ended up having to restart my game a few levels back to get it to go away. I have also had issues with followers disappearing and not following. I am going to try re-validating my game files and playing with my mod order.
  17. I've watched a few user videos and the multiplayer looks pretty fun. Anyone here tried it yet and is it worth it? Thanks for your input!
  18. Looking forward to your return soon Willow. I hope your creative juices have been flowing in the meanwhile! :)
  19. Would have to have seen if my nearly 7 year old AMD FX55 CPU (OCed to 2.9 Ghz) would have run Skyrim but the motherboard is toast and I refuse to spend nearly 200.00 on a left over socket 939 mobo...
  20. Back on topic... Thirty mods in a little over 24 hours is spamming TO ME and its a little much IMHO.
  21. Good thing? Eh, I used to let translators translate my mods until I found one of mine on the Workshop uploaded as one of the translators so that was stopped and the thief was drawn and quartered... Harsh, and out of line by them, but refusing to allow translations won't stop that from happening, someone who's going to do that will still do it anyway. All you've stopped are the people who'd do a legitimate translation. Once you give permissions the mod is out of your hands, as far as what sites they are uploaded to and what credit is given. It's just one less thing to worry about for me and honestly most of my friends in the EU speak, write and read English with great competency if not fluently.
  22. Good thing? Eh, I used to let translators translate my mods until I found one of mine on the Workshop uploaded as one of the translators so that was stopped and the thief was drawn and quartered...
  23. Why is it that I have to wade through 30 newly translated into another language old mods to find new content... :wallbash: My apologies in advance if this isn't the right forum.
  24. Thought it was a joke at first... Banned?! Sorry Ms. Willow, keep your chin up and I hope to see you back on the Nexus very very soon!!
