  1. All the other male characters (presets & savegames) I could find looked all alike. This one is a bit JRPG-ish but at least he actually looks young.
  2. Is there a way to make an NPC added by a mod (custom race, facegen data, etc.) playable? I'm tired of playing as a 50-something warrior, and child races are way too young... I'd like to play as a young adventurer, and this one is the best I could find for a male character: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59053/ However I can't seem to make it playable: I've tried using the racemenu mimic plugin, and have also tried to edit it in the CK but to no avail. Basically this is what I did: 1. open the .esp in the CK (meshes and textures are where they should be) 2. go to Object Window > actors > actor > actor > aaaYoungHuman 3. tick "is chargen face preset" 4. go to Object Window > character > race > aaaygHuman, then "Preset NPCs" 5. click & drag "aaaYoungHuman" (from #2) to this list ...and all I have now is an ugly purple head :pinch: Any idea?

  10. I think it would be nice to have a mod that lets you enter the character's biography and then displays it in a menu tab (in SkyUI's MCM or somewhere else), like in the first Baldur's Gate.
  11. The Witcher series. I still can't believe I fell for the hype and bought them... The gameplay, to be brutally honest, is awful.
  12. White not a PSP-specific game, my absolute favorite for story and replayability is Suikoden II. You can convert it (or any other PSX game) to PSP format using autopopstation or psx2psp.

Ex: purchase Agile Defender, and your armor bonus starts at 20% (like vanilla) upon reaching rank 20 of light armor, the bonus increases to 40%, then 60% at rank 40, 80% at rank 60, and 100% at rank 80."

  16. I'm having an issue where the wrong texture is being applied to some rocks in the wilderness. The screens below show the Guldun Rock area: Any idea of which mod could be the culprit? This is my current load order: I'm also using the following texture replacers, but even after uninstalling them in NMM the problem remains: - HD Detailed Terrain - Vivid Landscapes Dungeons and Ruins + non-ENB patch - Vivid Landscapes Rocking Stones and Mountains Parallax + non-ENB patch Thanks in advance.
  17. If you hit (with a weapon) the merchant and reload, the gold is restored when the game is reloaded. If this condition can be "simulated" via scripting, skse or other means, perhaps it can be done.

A known bug with merchants appears when loading a savegame after trading: their gold and inventory are not restored, so if you make a mistake and reload, you can't complete the transaction as the merchant only has a few gold left. I'm using both Unofficial Skyrim Patch and Skyrim Misc Patches Collection, and I'm surprised this annoying bug hasn't been addressed yet by any of these or other mods. (If I'm wrong and a fix does exist somewhere, please let me know.) So, well, my request is a patch for the issue described above :)

  21. I can't believe how many hours I've spent tracking this bug. I even reinstalled everything, testing mod after mod. Everything seemed to work, but now the problem is back. It appears randomly, even when all esps are disabled (but skse, meshes and texture replacers are in place). Perhaps a script... I'll see if enabling Papyrus logs can help me.
  22. I use BOSS, but after all my tests (disabling and enabling mods) my load order must have been changed considerably. Anyway I followed your suggestion and tried rerunning BOSS: now it seems everything is back to normal! The only error message it gave was about one of the Auto Unequip mods (it said it required Dawnguard, but the mod page says otherwise). I'll play for a while to see if the problem reappears but it looks like it's fixed. Thanks a lot, and kudos for your help! Edit: I spoke too soon... the problem reappeared after reloading the game. It looks like it's random and it also appears on older saves. I'll try your other suggestions.
  23. I had too many old mods installed and wanted to start a new game, so yesterday I reinstalled Skyrim and its updates (no DLCs), then NMM, and then the latest versions of the mods I wanted. I created a new character and played the first quest in Riverwood (Bleak Falls Barrow) and everything was working fine. Today NMM warned me about a couple of mod updates so I installed them, and continued the game... stayed for a while in Riverwood then moved to Whiterun. As soon as I entered the city, my character stopped moving: I can attack using the mouse, but cannot use the keyboard to move (however if I press the tilde key the console opens and i can enter text there). I've spent hours today enabling and disabling mods hoping to find the culprit but it looks like the only things I can do is reinstall everything... again. Do you have any idea what's going on before I take a hammer to the PC? By the way, this is my current load order:
