  1. I don't really understand all the ENB stuff, I tried one ENB mod once, and I had like 10 fps. Correct me if I'm wrong, so if you're using an ENB mod you get an ENBseries.ini file which you can customize. And the FPS limiter is for ENB mods only?
  2. I don't change my uGrids, they like to mess things up. Haven't tried an FPS limiter yet, I'm going to try that out now. edit: I don't have a certain file. I need ENBseries.ini for the FPS limiter to work. Dafuq?
  3. There are probably some threads scattered around the internetz about this. So whenever your badass warrior is dual-wielding a weapon, one weapon comes perfectly out of its sheath, and the other one magically appears out of nothingness. Bethseda pls.
  4. So I've managed to solve my CTD problem, and now microstuttering decided to kick in. Seriously, it's one problem after another. Patch 1.5.26 beta messed up my Skyrim. Back when I had a level 51 Redguard (before the beta version) everything was fine, hundreds of hours of fine gameplay with no problems. f*** you patch 1.5.26. Turned off v-sync and mouse acceleration, didn't help. This only occurs in 1st person view, whenever you move with your mouse, it's like the game skips a few frames, even though I have 45+ fps and 60+ fps indoors. - IntelĀ® Core2 Duo CPU - E8500 @ 3.16GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.2GHz - 4096MB RAM - Nvidia GTX 460 1gb ddr5 I don't believe this is a hardware problem, before the beta patch I could run Skyrim on high/ultra settings, nowadays the Skyrim launcher sets my optimal settings to medium.
  5. Is it possible to downgrade Skyrim?
  6. I've been playing Skyrim since January 2012 and there has not been a single day without issues. Seriously, I made a new character today and when Alduin attacks, the headsman falls down and bam... CTD. It happens at the exact same time, tried it multiple times now. I tried to verify game cache, turning the sound to 24 bits 44100hz. Nope, nothing works. I love you Bugesda.
  7. Agreed with the couple 'o posts above me, I too ofter crash and I don't blame it on my PC. It should easily handle Skyrim. Also... Bugseda is famous for it's bugs. All games have certain bugs, but I never played a game with so many bugs as Skyrim.
  8. A lot of people are experiencing this, including me. I tried everything, I've got a level 51 Redguard and for some reason if I fast travel somewhere, no matter where to, it gives me an instant CTD. This game has become unplayable.
  9. The more texture mods you install, the more likely your memory usage goes up. I've got 4GB of RAM and my game is running smooth on 40-60 fps high quality. I also edited the Skyrim.ini file by adding uGrids=7 and changed uExterior to 64 instead of 36. This never caused me any trouble, didn't even lose FPS. I'm a proud owner of every Call of Duty, when I run Black Ops my fps will be maxed at 125 fps and it never EVER caused me any CTD's. As a matter of fact, not a single Call of Duty caused me any big trouble, sometimes you got some minor issues, but they were easy to fix. But when I enter the realm of Skyim it gives me random CTD's that I have been trying to fix for... well.... since I bought the game. Sometimes I can play for 5 hours straight, and the other day Skyrim decides to piss me in the face and crashes every 15 minutes. I've got some textures mods installed: SMIM, Skyrim HD 2K (lite version), Detailed Outskirts, Lush trees and Lush grass. Whether I got these mods installed or not, I still get CTD's. I've also increased my virtual memory and tweaked/overclocked my video card. On very rare occasions I get blue/purple/black/yellow textures, and about 20 seconds later... BAM back to my desktop. edit: My driver is updated, my sound settings are 24 bits studio-quality, I pretty much verify my game cache every day, disabled V-sync, reinstalling DirectX, closing unused background programs.... bla bla bla. I still get random CTD's that make no sense at all.
  10. I'm a guy aswell, and I've always been playing male charcaters, no matter what game. I am not gay :< I've played WoW, LotRO and Skyrim with male characters, and I simply cannot play as a female. 18+ female mods just ruin Skyrim. So much win.

  12. Too many mods installed can cause Skyrim to CTD without any warnings. Make sure your PC can handle the weight. Also try to change shadows to "low". That pretty much fixed it for me.
