So after a few weeks without a single CTD, the mental torture has begun again. I've been doing the Thieves Guild quests, and on the quest called Blindsighted I gotta travel to Irkngthand. So what I do is fast travel to Korvanjund, a nordic ruin to the left of Irkngthand, and then it crashes. I ain't done anything, haven't made any changes to my .ini files, there are no mods that cause conflicts with each other, I only have about 15 installed anyways. I've validated and defragged local game content, but it was all in vain. My Skyrim is currently on 15.24.0.5. Seriously, if you ever feel like torturing people, let them play Skyrim for a while.

When I was watching these screenshots, the first thing that came to my mind was that your video card has been fried.

How can you have trouble killing a dragon priest? imo they're quite easy to kill as long as you use magic and arrows, and of course take cover. Just snipe the bastard 'til he's dead. Unless you're a high level, rushing in with your sword and shied is most likely gonna get you killed, especially when you're playing on expert/master difficulty. And if you're a warrior type, you most likely have some skill in archery, so just take cover and snipe 'em. If you're in a small dungeon room with barely any cover, you can use potions and rush in with your shield and interrupt their spells.

So a lot of you people are saying if you're playing in 3D you look at someone's ass "all day" instead of the beautiful environment of Skyrim? Sad. I play a male character in Skyrim and I don't look at my own ass. Just sayin.

Have you changed uGrids? What mods are you using? Is this happening to all your saves? Post your PC specs? Have you tried the well-known sound fix? The more information you post, the more likely we'll help you out.

I've had it once in Blackreach, that was about it. It started following me and it did nothing, restarted my pc and everything was fine.

Try verifying local game content, defragging your game via Steam, re-installing, updating your drivers, and do you have any mods installed?

Well, there's always a worst case scenario, completely remove the entire game, delete local content, delete all saves, delete all mods. Go for a complete re-install, and start a vanilla game with no mods installed. Of course this is your last resort, it happened to me as well, I had a level 51 Redguard and my saves got corrupted for some reason and needed to start all over again. I know it sucks, but if there's no other option available for you to fix this, you gotta do it. And have you read Georgiegirl's post and done what she said, she seems pretty confident what she's talking about and I believe it just might work ^^

Are you sure you tried the sound fix? 24 bits 44100 Hz. It could also be that your save game is corrupted. You can restore a previous version if you want. Documents > My Games > Skyrim - then right click on the saves folder, go to properties and restore a previous version.

I'm trying to fix Skyrim problems more than actually playing the game, patch 1.5 basically killed my Skyrim. I'm mostly playing LoTRO nowadays.

My favorite music would be from WoW and LoTRO. Some good examples there, if there's one thing Blizzard is good at, it's making music.

Mine was Delta Force, a FPS game made by NovaLogic, it was one of the first multiplayer games and came out in 1998. When I was about 8 or 9 years old I played this game for the first time. Delta Force 2 really introduced my to the online gaming world. A few weeks ago I installed these good old games again, and noticed there were no more multiplayer servers, it made me feel sad.

I don't have anything against female warriors. Sure they do exist, but these retarded 18+ ruin the game. Of course it's just a matter of opinion, I'm not gay and I can't stand playing as a female. Weird or not, playing as a female is just what makes me feel gay. So whenever I'm looking for mods on Skyrim Nexus and someone is about to enter my room I quickly switch to pornhub, cause it's easier to explain. And it makes me sad that there are a lot of 18+ mods in the Skyrim top 100. A lot. If you believe female warriors wear school girl clothes, have big jiggly boobs, and run almost naked through the snow, you sir, are f***ed up.

Welcome to The Crashing Scrolls 5: Skyrim. I never experienced any CTD's myself up until patch 1.5... Bethesda manages to break more than they fix. I've tried everything too, and the frustration is getting out of control. Anyways, you might wanna try and increase your virtual RAM, and then run the cmd program as administrator. Then type the following: bcdedit /set increaseuserva 2500 Press enter and restart your PC. And of course this is one of many possible fixes, in my case it didn't work, and please tell us about your mods that you've got installed. Another possibility is that you've changed your uGrids and it corrupted your save. Posting your PC specs is also helpful.
