  1. showler's post in Vortex load order support for Cyberpunk 2077 was marked as the answer
    Ask here: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/196
  2. showler's post in Skyrim Special Edition disappeared off my Vortex Games Mod Manager was marked as the answer
On the Extensions tab, click the "show bundled" button and check if any extensions are disabled.
  3. showler's post in Can't play saved games on Fallout 4 was marked as the answer
Your steam install directory is probably something like "c:/program files(x86)/steam".  Inside that folder should be one called "userdata" and inside of that should be a bunch of folders with just numbers for names.  You'll be looking for a recently modified one that contains your save files (which will end with .fos).
You'll need to copy them back to your "documents/my games/fallout4/saves" directory.
  4. showler's post in Controller Issues was marked as the answer
Have you tried setting the Skse launcher itself as a game in Steam?  And then setting the controller options for it specifically?  Steam has PS controller support for all games, only games with native support or only games WITHOUT native support.  You might need to play around with the various options to find one that works.
Or, and this is a sudden thought, it could be connected to the issue Pickysaurus mentions here:
Specifically where he says "in Skyrim 1.6.1130 the integration with Steam appears to be completely absent".   If so, this might be a bug that Bethesda will need to fix.

  6. showler's post in Vortex doesn't recognize save games anymore was marked as the answer
Check in your steam install directory under "userdata" and sort by most recent changes, then check the numbered folders for files ending in ".fos".
I had the same thing happen last night and Steam had moved all my save files from the Documents folder to that folder in the Steam install directory.  Moving them back fixed everything.
  7. showler's post in Same staging folder for multiple games - help separate was marked as the answer
I'm not sure it has that option since what you are experiencing shouldn't be possible.
Best bet might be to use the "purge" option on each game to remove the links, then manually remove the mods from the folder, copy back only the files for a single game, have Vortex move the staging folder and then repeat for the other games.
  8. showler's post in Updated VORTEX, SKSE broke WTF? was marked as the answer
    Did you update SKSE?
There was an update for SKSE and an update for Skyrim SE today.  You should check what version you have of each.
  9. showler's post in Hardlinks and Drive Backups was marked as the answer
Windows treats hardlinks as real files during a copy procedure.  Purging your mods would have temporarily removed the hardlinks and avoided the problem.
Under normal operation the hardlinks take up a tiny amount of space.
  10. showler's post in Vortex Automatically Updates Extensions for Random Games Without Permission was marked as the answer
BG3 is a Nexus Mods created/maintained extension.  It is currently being updated frequently so it is listed as a "non-bundled" extension.  However, it will eventually be added to the bundled extensions that are automatically updated because they are part of Vortex.
There are dozens of these extensions in Vortex.
Don't worry about them.  They are needed and they do no harm.  You will not be able to remove them.
  11. showler's post in Minecraft? was marked as the answer
It's not listed as a supported game.
  12. showler's post in why does this happen? (BG3 extension) was marked as the answer
Because they are part of Vortex itself. They are treated as extensions because it allows them to update separate from the main program, but they are part of the full Vortex package.

Stop trying to uninstall them. It won't work.
  13. showler's post in massive download in some mods was marked as the answer
One click Collections are reserved for Premium subscribers due to the need to serve ads to ad-supported subscribers.
  14. showler's post in Vortex is still a terrible tool was marked as the answer
It got separated to different tabs because the "mod staging folder" is game specific while the "downloads folder" is universal to all your games.

It was, arguably, more confusing having them on the same tab while behaving so differently.
  15. showler's post in No Days Gone extension? was marked as the answer
The extension was hidden because it did not work properly and I thought Picky had turned off the mod manager download button.
  16. showler's post in Have premium..but dl speeds are terrible, 12k - 30k, lucky if I get over 100k was marked as the answer
If you don't do the tests here ( https://help.nexusmods.com/article/92-im-having-download-issues-what-can-i-do ) then they'll just ask you to run them and your help will be delayed. Run them now and post the results to save time.

Also, if you can, try a VPN and see if that helps or not.
  17. showler's post in Quick question, does Vortex need to be running for mods to work was marked as the answer
No. The system Vortex uses to install mods is Windows Native so Windows sees things whether Vortex is running or not.
  18. showler's post in BSA Reader was marked as the answer

  19. showler's post in How do I seperate the game directory of profiles was marked as the answer
The only way to do that is to have the files that are different in each version set up as a mod that can be deployed/purged by Vortex when you switch profiles.

Vortex is not designed to use multiple versions of a game so you need to trick it.
  20. showler's post in Baldur's Gate 3 in Extensions and Downloads in Vortex was marked as the answer
They are the instructions for Vortex on how to install mods for BG3. If you don't have BG3 or aren't modding it, then they won't do anything. Just ignore them.
  21. showler's post in problem with the blur staying on after turned off settings in profile? was marked as the answer
Did you look at the comments in the announcement article? There are currently bugs causing the blur to stay on in the quick search and download history. Are you seeing it elsewhere as well?

  23. showler's post in QoL suggestions. Would love to have Vortex implement these at some point.. was marked as the answer
    There's a feedback site here: https://feedback.nexusmods.com/

It's the best place to post such suggestions as they can be better tracked and upvoted to show priorities.
  24. showler's post in Missing / not visible save via vortex due to two profile, how to merge the two? was marked as the answer
Just copy the files from the old directory into the folder where your new saves are being stored.
  25. showler's post in Vortex now casuing Starfeild to sync with OneDrive was marked as the answer
