  1. BOSS doesn't require any mod manager to be able to sort your load order.
  2. Sure, I suppose so, shouldn't make any difference. Like I said I don't/never used Skyre, but it's just a mod and should take effect after being loaded. I think Skyre also has a Race module, don't know how that will go about, but I think it will take effect after you enable the mod. OR you can just start the game with Skyre installed from the beginning, then enable the rest of the mods when you leave the cave, in case it will give you problems. Unless someone that uses Skyre can guide you better.
  3. It's not the eyelashes that are giving you the problem, it's the invisibility glitch that for some reason it affects your eyes and they look all messed up inside-out. Besides quitting and reloading the game, I think opening the "showracemenu" would revert the eyes back to normal too. Also this mod Invisiblity Glitch - Eyes Fix is said to help prevent the glitch. You'll need SKSE installed as well, in case you don't already have it.
  4. In response to post #11697765. You can disable NMM from checking for updates on startup if you so wish, or make it search every 1 to 7 days, if that's what you meant as a schedule. You can also manually check for updates with the icon in the top-right corner (that looks like a globe). In case I understood you right.
  5. In response to post #11695477. Top-right of NMM's window, there's a curved arrow...curved...arrow. Click it and you can change your game.
  6. I don't use Skyre, but wouldn't hurt to have a non-modded save till you get out of Helgen. But the choice is yours.
  7. As it says there, that option only changes the category icons (the top ones), not the text font or item icons.
  8. Maybe after your hands get unbound when you enter inside Helgen's fort. But I would suggest after you leave Helgen when you exit the cave and you're heading towards Riverwood.
  9. Well you kinda answered yourself. For some reason that information is baked into your save game and can't be modified/removed if you meet the housecarls. Blame Bethesda for thinking that all females fighters should walk like brutes.
  10. In response to post #11684655. If I'm not wrong, that feature is available in the 0.50 alpha version.
  11. I don't have Skyrim installed to check, but I'm pretty sure the launcher isn't supposed to see "skyrim.esm" so people can't mistakenly disable it (which is why it's grey in NMM too) . The game sees it though. Just run BOSS (link in description) to sort your load order. It's kinda messed up even from the mods installed. Like I mentioned above the SSME mod needs to be installed manually in the main Skyrim folder, not Data, same goes for the ENB. Also if you have Pure Waters, don't install the W.A.T.E.R. mod as well, or viceversa, since they both change the same thing, they will conflict.
  12. Body mods are replacers of the vanilla body, so they don't have plugins to load, meaning they can't alter text information in your game. The female stormcloaks might not be the only ones affected, you might find even places with name changed.
  13. Also some mods you have there shouldn't be installed with NMM, but manually. e.g. SSME, that goes into your main Skyrim folder not Data where NMM puts it and probably the ENB as well. You should run BOSS to sort your load order, and in case you're missing a master after it's sorted it should let you know.
  14. In response to post #11651242. It also makes it easier for mod users too. If you think about it, it also offers quick links to the mods you need for faster download. Some authors don't use bbcode in their descriptions to make the links actual links, so it would be more clicking since you have to copy-paste the said link in the address bar manually. (though I don't mind either way)
  15. Hmm, maybe you have some other weapon mods installed as well, that were in IW too?
  16. In response to post #11635654. You're kinda exaggerating a bit about the privacy bit, what you're talking about refers more to real personal information that can do you harm. This simply only notifies the mod author that you as a user that comments on his mod, have downloaded his content and the required mods, nothing more. It doesn't affect you with anything. e.g. from my own mod/comment: "(file name), downloaded 23:16, 17 March 2013". Think of it like the forums on Steam, if you have the said game, there will be an icon indicating that after your name.
  17. In response to post #11608413. I think he meant this message: "If you do not download and install these files as per the author's instructions then it's extremely likely that it will not work for you and that'll be no one's fault but your own." The notice that warns you under the required files box when you download a mod, which is not of the author's choosing. Even so, as you said it's a fact, nothing rude about it. People should always read the description about requirements and installation instructions before downloading a mod.
  18. Why create a second topic about the same problem if I was trying to help you in the first one and not long after replying in there? It only pushes down topics for other people that need help also. I guess since NOW you were able to check the mod in the Data Files, that you extracted them correctly. There might be a few reasons why you can't see the mod in the game. Firstly do you meet the mod requirements written in the description? You need to have SKSE and SkyUI installed and the mod needs to be configured in "Mod Configuration" menu from the pause menu of the game. Secondly, did you run the game through skse_loader.exe? Assuming you already meet the mod requirements, otherwise the mod won't work.
  19. Depends what mod, if it's just a texture/mesh replacer for the vanilla content, in most cases it won't have an .esp/.esm plugin and won't need one to work. Or you didn't extract it correctly into the Data folder.
  20. Have you launched the game through skse_loader.exe? Though neither SKSE, nor SkyUI should hide your compass on their own. If you have iHud (Immersive Hud) installed as well, that's the one that hides your compass, you can re-enable it again in game by tapping "X".
  21. You won't find your own character from the game inside CK, cause he doesn't exist there, any data about him is stored in your save game. You can edit his skills in-game with the console though. e.g. player.setav <skillname> <level> player.setav destruction 50
  22. Should be simple. I'll assume you already downloaded those mods. For SKSE, download the 1.6.16 version, since 1.7.0 is still alpha. I suggest downloading the installer version, in case you're not comfortable with installing manually. This way you're sure it's going to be installed correctly, cause it defaults to your Skyrim directory when you open the installer. SkyUI and the configuration mod are one and the same (version 4.1 - latest). Open the SkyUI archive and grab the SkyUI.bsa and SkyUI.esp and put them inside your Data folder. Like in the previous post, open your Skyrim Launcher and enable the mod. For Immersive Armors, I don't have the archive anymore, but just grab the Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.bsa/esp and Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp/bsa and drag them into your data folder, then enable them in the Launcher. Remember for SkyUI to work and to be able to configure Immersive Armors, you must run the game from skse_loader.exe from now on. In case Immersive Armors doesn't show in Mod Configuration, either do a save and load, or just wait for a bit (not the Wait option) for the mod to startup and configure itself before you can use it.
  23. You take the files inside the folders, not the folder themselves, and place them inside your Data folder. If you have NMM open while installing manually, I suggest closing it. After you placed those files in the Data folder, either open the Skyrim Launcher then enable the files in Data Files, or open NMM and mark them as enabled in the Plugin tab. Edit: The problems were fixed, in case anyone reads these.
  24. Like I said in a previous post, I'm not sure that mods that modify lighting could make your game unable to load and crash. Well I've never had that problem. But you mentioned you can't load the game after the "missing content" warning, assuming it worked fine before, so I figured it's worth a shot reinstalling the mods you were missing. Can't open NMM at the moment, since it would take too long to load. In the 4.0.8.01 version of RLO (4.0.8.02 is just an update for some modules), I'll tell you in the archive where the files you're missing (from the screenshots you provided) are: 25 Major City Exteriors No Guard Torches 45 Brighter Dungeons 60 Adaptive Interiors Vanilla Weathers 75 Brighter Nights Those above are the folder names that contain the files you need. But you're probably trying to install the update instead of the main mod, which is why you can't find the files yourself.
  25. RLO = Realistic Ligthing Overhaul. Those are modules that belong to that mod.
