  1. Hi there. I made retexture (in 4K) of these snow elf ruins... and obviously (since I started new game) I haven't start the quest to get there - but I want to take pics from it. Please, write me the coc code to get there.
  2. I don't care too much for rewards, donations, etc. Skyrim is my "heroin", I can't live a singe day without it (I even making textures during my vacations), so... it will be probably another way to see how impact our work has on the users.

  5. This is my loading order, after I ran LOOT and manually corrected some stuff. I have some (4-6) mods "orange" in Wrye B - because these mods have wrong placed the official master files (and obviously I can't move the Dawnguard or Dragonborn etc). I have (still) issues with the second Alduin shout - I have CTDs... Any help?

  7. Hello to all. I'm trying to modify the Nocturnal Robe, to make it semi-transparent for my new texture I made. So, I'm opening the UNPB nocturnal robe nif, I'm deleting the incomplete body & the underwear and I'm trying to open the nude TBBP UNPB body to place the nif into the robe's nif (I need a FULL body mesh into the robe, since I want to edit the robe and make it semi-transparent)... ...When I'm doing this (try to open the body nif, after opened the robe's nif), the NifScope instantly crashes EVERY time. Any idea to solve this?
  8. The cage using a single metallic texture, most of mods have 2K (in the best) with not so much details. I made a 4K with a lot details, while I'm checking the rest elements (locks, nails) - which they're vanilla textures, nobody's making textures of these things.

I was working fine with the NifScope 2.0 on Win 8.1 Now, I installed the damn Win10 and I'm facing tones of issues... ...I tried to make what I did before (and didn't saved it, I'm damn idiot! ), to make the nocturnal dress semi-transparent. So, I loaded the dress in NifScope, removed the "body" & "underwear" blocks from the mesh, opened new window - clicked on the dress and changed the Alpha from 1.0 to 0.8, loaded a UNP nude body mesh, copied the "body" block, turned back to the dress window, clicked on the dress mesh, applied "Paste Block"... ...and INSTANTLY NifScope crash all the time, on this step!!!! The program simply stop working!!!! And it was fine in Win8.1!!!! Do I miss something? Do I need to install something (C++ extra, something) to Win10, to solve that NifScope crashing?
  10. So... regardless if its a normal... if the diffuse (a tree bark) HAS NO ALPHA... the normal of that bark SHOULDN'T be saved with alpha (DX5), right??? Now I'm getting it - the normal map creation.

  12. Aha. So, perhaps that's the issue. As far as I remember (I'm not home now), the normal creates an "alpha" but is solid white page (so, total visible - bright). Perhaps THAT'S the issue! I'll check it.
  13. And what should I do, in Photoshop? And if the image is LARGER?... I increased the eraser tool to...5000 (in Photoshop) and still can't cover the entire image.
  14. No, I don't using that GIMP - haven't, ever. I'm Photoshop-er. OUAOU...!!!!!!! We actually.... ERASING the blue normal, with 94% opacity?????????????... In anything, any object?????????
  15. So... I don't think is the alpha channel (as I did it, with gradient). Just checked the Vivid Landscapes "Cliffs" and I saw a similar alpha!!! And I assume, that texture is not "glowing" as mine. So... should be the normal?
  16. Greetings. You may know my mods, you may checked them. Working on my last (Hotfile) "Forests of Dibella", I found that I could retexture another object, that "dirt-cliff" one. So, I started and I made a very good (4K) replacement... but, I have an issue: The alpha channel creates a bright "glow" on the texture - not the entire texture, just on the cliff's "bend" part. If you check that dds texture (and its alpha), you'll see that there is an alpha that "covers" a lot elements of the cliff elements (dirt, rocks, etc) so to be better blended with many flora textures which continues. Usually, a grass texture continues from-to that dirtcliff object. Most of these dirtcliff textures I checked (other mods), they have a SOLID-COMPACT alpha to that area (these small rocks, small leaves, to be left and be blended). My graph/texture hasn't many rocks or so, it has a lot DIRT (soil). So, I made a FADE-OUT alpha, a gradient fade-out from white (visible) to black (invisible)... Is this "fade-out" alpha CAUSING that "glow"? (I'm not using ENB or weather mod. I want vanilla to testing my graphs). ... Another issue I'm facing, is the normals. When I'm making a solid-compact object (like my Dawnbreaker sword or my Torch), I don't care - the normals looking fine. But, in my Pillow mod, which is a SOFT FABRIC MATERIAL (wool or linen)..., the normal gives "glow" - no matter how soft I'm making the normal (that pillow don't have alpha). ...ANY IDEAS to solve my issues, please?
  17. Just wondering... why you want your native language in the games or movies or... since you already know quite good English? Just wrote a thought of mine, that's all. (I'm Greek and I hate translations to Greek - most of them are rubbish. Since I know very good English and there are subtitles available too, why to mess up with languages? Even my iPhone or my Win in my PC or whatever, are always in English, never in Greek)

  19. Hello, fellas... Currently, I'm simply opening OTHERS' textures and I'm working ON them. But I want to make entirely my own textures, meaning not necessarily following others patterns & designs. HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO GET the texture of an object/armor/anything and then work on that? For example, I want to re-texture (with my own design) the DAWNBREAKER sword. All re-textures of this swords, following similar pattern (especially for the blade), but most important the patterns on the grip is not so visible (the edges). So, how am I suppose to get the swords texture map and work on it? With which tool? What's the process?
  20. "What a lovely gift from Bethesda"...!!!!! Because... don't tell me I'm wrong... THEY DID THIS!!! Because, before January, I was playing JUST FINE a huge build of 230 mods + 350 textures mods = 580 total ... WITHOUT any issue!!! I NEVER had corrupted saves before January!!!!! And again... my "theory"... after a couple months, Bethesda launched their OWN "MOD SHOP"! Even a 5 years old kid would said that is "QUITE SUSPICIOUS"!!!! So, they launched a "campaign" against EVERYTHING is modding their games... outside THEIR PORTAL!

Personally, my theory is this: BEFORE the last Skyrim update, NOBODY had problem like that - as I wrote here, I was running build with more than 357 mods (merged of course) without A SINGLE issue. AFTER the last Skyrim update from Bethesda... a lot problems "suddenly appeared". IS IT COINCIDENT that a couple months after this last update, Bethesda launched THEIR OWN MODS PORTAL??????? So, to me, is a "FABRICATED BUG" from Bethesda, to make the users STOP USING Nexus mods but ONLY THOSE from their own "shop"!!!!!! That's my theory! And since I'm businessman 47 years old, MAKES PERFECTLY SENSE for a company's profit. But I won't "buy"! I will continue using the Nexus mods, with or without ANY bug they're "fabricating". It's TOTALLY UNNATURAL... previously running the very same game... with 357 mods... and NOW... with 30-50 mods... to have issues and bugs! It's EXTREME suspicious.
