I've got one drive with the OS and programs on it, one drive for just gaming, one drive to store misc kak, and an external with copies of the important things from the other three drives.

Safest way to make sure things are right is to do a vanilla install on the new computer. That way you have your save file, ini, and all in the correct places. From your old computer, copy all the files in your data folder, then on new computer, copy into the data folder. Over write files already there. Depending on how large your thumbstick is, you may have to copy one folder at a time, or maybe just parts of one folder. Make sure you drop the files into the correct folders. Make sure Textures, Meshes, Menus, etc are all under Data, not just dropped in the game folder.

That could take a bit of time. To make sure you don't muck things up, you might want to copy and transfer all folders. That way, you move the whole game and are assured you have all of the data.

A few months ago I got new computer. Took the old HD my game was on and installed it as a slave drive, and redid my shortcuts to the game. You might want to consider that possibility.

You should not have to be Premium member to do that. If you need to change your settings to download what might be considered adult content...if you are old enough: Click on your name or avatar to go to your forum profile. Click on "Nexus Profile" on the left side, should be last entry under your avatar pic. You should be at what some consider your "mini profile. Upper right area is your avatar. Beside that is "SwearNSC's account" Click on that and pull down menu appears. Click "user area". Middle top is "User". Click on "Change your site preferences" Under first thing under "global preferences" is where you toggle to view adult content. EDIT:Tealbow must type faster than I do and beat me by a few minutes

The DLCs will act like added mods and will only work when activated. Some mods do require DLCs because they use the DLC resources. To make a short story even shorter, they should not effect your game unless by chance they share some of the same locations as some of your mods do.

I did the guilds and and civil war things first and waited to give up the dragon stone when I was about level 45. It was nice in a way not to have to deal with all the dragons until towards the end of the game.

Sorry that does not do what you need. I thought it worked for all NPCs. The reason I mentioned the search tab is because a lot of people expect others to just tell them before they bother looking. I wish you luck on finding what you want. Have you tried the "Mod Request" area of the forums ? It might get a good modder to see if they can make one like you need.

I went to the page where Skyrim mods can be downloaded, and at the top of the page is a "search" tab. Clicked on it, and typed "No friendly Fire" and it gave me two results. Top choice lead me here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22538

The best thing about Oblivion is adding the mods to make the game uniquely yours. I would not recommend using somebody else's list of what they have done because computers are different and what they can handle due to graphic cards, CPUs, etc. I, and I am sure many others, would recommend you use Wyre Bash to install most of your mods. Many people use BOSS. I do not, and have no problem with the game, and I'm running just over 300 mods Bashed down to 235. The Top 100 mods is a good place to look for mods you might want to use. Also, you can browse by catagory. I like making the country look more inhabited, so I've got a lot of isolated house mods. Crashing immediately may be caused by some major resources missing or a few mods conflicting. You might consider starting out pretty much Vanilla, then adding a few mods to make sure the game runs well. Then add a few more at a time until you get the game looking like you want. EDIT: I see Striker879 said pretty much the same thing, and beat me by a few minutes.

Try using the "search" option in the Skyrim mod download area to find what you want.

I've also had that happen to me ( minus the red glow ), and have yet to figure out what causes it. But then, it didn't happen to me until after I finished the game and went back in after about 5 months. I suspect it was caused from some scripting from a mod that was installed not long before I finished the game, but do not recall which one it was 5 months later. Wish I had an answer for you.

Actually, the way to access that is through your profile. It just has the same skin as the forums. On your profile page, upper right hand corner is "Edit my profile" button. That is where you can make all the changes.
