  1. Having the crown of Nenalata hidden in skyrim would be cool. Maybe have it in a small ayleid ruin on the border between skyrim and cyrodiil, or in a caravan that was attacked on the road somewhere.
  2. Check out Brhuce Hammar and/or Wheels of Lull here on the nexus. They might have some locations you could claim as your home.
  3. Well this mod I'll link below could be a start, there is no guild or faction to simulate fight club, but you can challenge npcs to a fight one on one, whether it be with magic, steel, or fists without any npc getting involved. I suppose you could pick fights with thieves guild members in the ratway to simulate a fight club. Now keep your voice down man and quit talking about fight club. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/84604/
  4. They're just re-textured elven helmets in the game. Anyone interested in making them more crown like?
  5. You're not supposed to talk about fight club.
  6. A castle that is similar to the style of Hyrule castle in twilight princess. I'd prefer if it didn't have too many if any banners unless they are custom because if you don't like a certain faction such as the companions, winterhold mages, stormcloaks, imperials etc, you won't have their banners tainting your castle. And please no using every single statue in the game or using models from loading screens because that is very unappealing. And to be even more nitpicky, (sorry about that btw) no dragon priest mask mount because that really ruins the overall aesthetic of many castle mods.
  7. I don't know if you find this any help but here is a spell mod that has something similar to what you're asking. It doesn't sound like you care to be a mage character so sorry in advance if this isn't what you're looking for. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33367/
  8. This seems like a fantastic idea I've always wanted this. A neat way to achieve this idea would be to add a spell that gives the player a unique pre-filled soul gem that contains a dragon soul for enchanting or recharging that requires both a dragon soul and a black soul gem to work. Maybe have it be stronger than grand souls or exactly the same, to me it's the novelty of using dragon souls for enchanting or recharging weapons. It is perfect for role-playing as somebody who is against soul trapping but as dragonborn absorbs dragon souls automatically whether they like it or not. So might as well put those souls to good use eh? Something to balance this for immersion is to train your enchanting skill to 50 or 75 before this can be done and also have a high amount of magicka to even cast the spell.
  9. You know what the player can do? Punch dragons to death, disintegrate people by yelling at them, and defeat gods/demi-gods. You know what the player can't do? Get passed a wooden door that is barred and...Oh...my...GOD! Nailed shut! What is this sorcery? By Meridia how are we supposed to defeat such an opponent?! Is all hope lost? No...we can fight back, we can do this! We must try. How to make this mod? Idk I'm not a modder(obviously), maybe somehow have an npc that uses the model of the riftweald manor interior door.
  10. I was recently think about an idea similar to this, except with the more obscure oblivion realms that not many people know about such as Detritus, a realm ruled by Hollowjack, another daedra who MIGHT be on the same level of the 17 princes of oblivion and is a bit obscure. I only have very basic knowledge on these topics myself. I'll provide a link below if anyone wishes to know more. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Planes_of_Existence
  11. The elven sisters of radiant raiment in solitude don't sell elven clothes for some reason despite their elven heritage. I'd like a mod that changes that for people like me who like to role-play as a snow elf king/queen or ayleid king/queen.
  12. Although I modded the sh*t out of skyrim, this was happening when I played vanilla, I didn't care at first because I thought it was a little bit funny, but after a long while it gets really old and annoying.
  13. It gets annoying when guards leave their weapons, shields, and armor lying around and I have to clean up their messes when I'm in the cities and in the castles and palaces. Sometimes it's considered stealing and I can't pick up the mess without facing charges for the guards' mess. This is especially annoying because they get mad at you if you do the same thing.
  14. I don't think they mean't dwemer dwarves but actual dwarves, like Gimli.
  15. Yes I know there is an aetherium armor mod but I'm thinking about simpler mod having an ebony or elven style armor and/or weapons with aetherium textures on all the metal parts, as opposed to a dwarven set that is mostly dwemer metal that has some aetherium bits in it.
  16. Or an ESO altmer armor, haven't seen this on the nexus https://i.pinimg.com/originals/7e/f4/61/7ef461c7e7b16258006d54d079103e5c.jpg
  17. Zebsi I came up with a couple things for you. One is for your current project, and the other is an idea for a possible new mod to tackle after this one. The first thing is simply another batch of characters I thought of: Calinden Deysul - An old snow elf scholar (with an ayleid name) from the merethic era who had an immense fascination with ayleid culture, so much so that he changed his name into what it is due to his obsession. He serves as a master alteration trainer and can sell the player welkynd stones (which act as ultimate magicka potions) he made himself through his past research of ayleid magic. He could also give the player a quest to meet other npcs from you mod and ask about the cultures of the varies races added in and document your findings in a journal he gives you. Perhaps the reward for completing this quest is that he sell will add varla stones in his stock every 2 or 3 days. Nimnar Cuunwol - A maormer assassin of the dark brotherhood. The reason he joined up is simply for the thrill and to get rich while having fun. As such he doesn't really care about the rest of the "family" at all. He offers himself as a follower after Cicero recognizes you as the listener because he sees this as his golden ticket so to speak. He and Astrid merely tolerated each other, so he will suggest you spare Cicero when you get the decision to kill or spare him. He won't be present during the penitus oculatus attack on the sanctuary if you haven't taken him along on your adventures before you left. He will however reappear right after the attack when Nazir digs you out of the rubble. Ihlyth Lynium - A maormer dawnguard member. She joined up because a group of vampires attacked her group not long after her arrival to skyrim. Everyone except for her was either killed or turned into a vampire. At first she is a bit timid but if you help her on some assignments to take out vampires in radiant locations she is given, she slowly gets used to being a vampire hunter and becomes much more confident when in battle. She will show up in the final battle against castle volkihar but won't help in the fight against Harkon himself. Nylnih Velu - A maormer battle mage who is a reaver on Solstheim. Nothing notable about him, he just shows up in a random reaver fort/camp. Okay so my next idea is and ambitious one that includes the concepts of dragon breaks. As I said before this would probably be best as an entirely new project after your current one. This came to me after I watched a video on dragon breaks by Fudge Muppet. What it is is a scenario where the falmer win against the atmorans in the war and how it affected the rest of Tamriel. I already have some of the lore in this alternate timeline worked out. Spoilers, Pelinal Whitestrake survives. If this concept interests you at all I'd really like to discuss it.
  18. Got it so like a guy who had good intentions but bit off more than he could chew and now the player has to either clean up his mess or complete the experiment. Seems like a more realistic role for Calswyn, a young and inexperienced mage. Come to think of It I guess magical research would be hard for the snow elves considering their lack of access to the outside world. Also what did you think about the snow elf citizen clothes and maormer character ideas I had earlier, or is it a little to early for that? I didn't get any feedback on that so I don't know what to make of it. Sorry I'm still trying to get on the same page here, this is the first time I ever actually was helping a mod author out directly with my ideas. I'm usually more of a keep my creativity to myself kinda guy. One more thing before I forget, what do you think about one of the four snow elf colonies having a small group of Meridia worshipers led by my Lorian Alfar character, who gives a quest to find and dispose of a mage who turned herself into a wispmother and is beginning to organize the corrupted falmer to launch an invasion on skyrim, before it is to late? I know this idea could definitely use a bit more polish considering I came up with it as I was typing, but I'd still like to know your thoughts.
  19. Okay, so no snow elves outside colonies in general got it. Also I'll stop trying to push Mithlondil on you. With Cirian I agree, I actually sometimes fall into that category myself, so just cutting out the word dragonborn will fix it. As for Calswyn, true there is no "cure" but with enough alteration magic, their appearance could be "restored", as shape-shifting has been in the elder scrolls world by the ayleids and something similar with the face sculptor in Riften, illusion is used to manipulate the minds of mortals, and thus to calm the minds of the falmer while operating on them, and maybe "restoring" them with enough use, and restoration could be used to purify the souls of the corrupted falmer, similar to how some forms of restoration magic is used on the souls of the undead.
  20. Zebsi I redesigned some my characters that didn't work out into something more akin to the style you proposed. Mithlondil the Harbinger - A snow elf who's self-given title insults the Companions and their genocidal legacy. Mithlondil was ironically shunned by his colony for his radical opinions and left on self- exile. He can be encountered in the wilds in Haafingar hold. Upon meeting him you'll find him sitting around three generic companion corpses. After a short bit of dialogue of him explaining why he did what he did and his escape from the ancient nords who forced him and his brethren into slavery, the player will get the option to either fight him or let him leave and continue his work. If the player leaves him alone he will appear later as Elenwen's personal body guard, wearing a mask and hooded thalmor robes to hide his identity (not from the thalmor). Although if you do fight him but run away from the fight he'll still show up later as Elenwen's bodyguard but won't be hostile and will mock you for running away. If you do end up killing him he will utter the words "Even death won't keep me from destroying you." before he dies. Afterwards when the player reaches sovngarde or the soul cairn he'll show up again and will briefly talk to the player again telling them how he clawed his way through the outer realms just to reach you, and then he will be hostile. After killing him a second time his last words will be, "You may shatter my soul, but my hate... my hate will never die! Someday I will be reborn!". He won't show up again in-game. Cirian - A mysterious maormer woman who you will encounter after the battle for Whiterun in the civil war. It doesn't matter what side you choose she will show up in in castle dour entrance for the imperials, or the palace of kings entrance for the stormcloaks. She will introduce herself to the player and say that she hopes to work with them in the future. When asked why she joined up with whatever side you chose she will simply say "Dragonborn, I merely wish to see you grow, and succeed." From then on she will show up in many or all of the battles the player is in for the rest of the civil war. After the war has concluded she will offer herself as a follower. And maybe a marriage candidate. Master Mystic Calswyn (or just Calswyn) - A snow elf illusion master who seeks to cure the corrupted falmer. When the player reaches his colony and speaks to him Calswyn will ask if the player would help him with his mission. If accepted he will teach you a spell called "tame falmer". The spell will pacify a corrupted falmer and have them follow you, where you will then take them back to Calswyn and he will take them off your hands and to restoration and alteration experts. However, the spell can only work on one falmer at a time, the spell will break if you take another falmer. Perhaps the falmer can still be killed in this state. Maybe if you bring enough back to Calswyn he will start a small colony somewhere else.
  21. Right now there are two follower mods that are so well made that they definitely deserve much more love than they get. The first is an older mod from way back in 2015 and doesn't have very many downloads or endorsements. It is called "Nerevar Returns custom-voiced follower" by DarthNexus1. In this mod you encounter the Nerevarine from Morrowind in Windhelm, where he will become a follower after some short dialogue. His voice is reminiscent of the dunmer voices in Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind. He will comment on all the join-able factions in the game if you ask him and give his opinion them. He also has a function to make comments as you explore the world that you can turn on or off if you so desire. The equipment Nerevar carries is the ordinator armor and Trueflame, which is great for identifying him as the nerevarine. He also has a spell that allows you to summon him to your location if he is currently following and you two get separated. When dismissed he will ask which city to meet up in and travel to the inn in your selected city. Rather than babbling any further about him I'll post the link below. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66922/ The second mod I'll discuss is newer so I get why it isn't popular yet. It is called "EQUINOX - Temple of Meridia - Aurorans - Custom-Voiced Followers - Spells" . You may have seen the older Equinox by the same creator, Caerulean, but this is a heavily updated version of his older mod, and is so much more than a simple follower mod. It adds Equinox an auroran follower who you will meet at the kilkreath balcony during Meridia's quest. His model is much better than the old one and his voice is extremely elegant, befitting of such a loyal servant of Meridia. This mod also adds in several new light-based spells perfect for a holy paladin build, as well as two well written skill books for alteration and restoration. After the vanilla quest to kill Malkoran and retrieve Dawnbreaker, if you wait a little while and come back to the temple, you will find it has been cleaned up a bit and all the darkness has left, becoming a proper place of worship again. Inside you will meet a worshiper who informs you of a trial meant for you further in the temple, passing it will give you an amazing conjuration spell that lets you summon the boss you just defeated. If you have killed Movarth or Potema, then Equinox will congratulate you on your mighty deed. There is so much more left to cover so I'll leave just the link below. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/81021
  22. Okay i got some more idea's regarding the snow elf colonies. First, the outfits, do you think you can make a model for the outfits that falmer citizens that look similar to the clothes on the Irkngthand statue at the end of the thieves guild quest? If not the next best thing would be a simple recolor of vanilla clothes. Blues, purples, greens, and reds would be a fantastic color scheme, or maybe gold colors for royalty and nobles. Really could subvert expectations some might have of snow elves only wearing white. Second, transportation between colonies, since the falmer are still in hiding it would be logical that they have something similar to wayshrines to travel between colonies as to remain undetected from the rest of skyrim. I did have a third thing regarding the buildings but I think it would be a LOT of work to deal with and it is a very minor thing so I won't mention it unless you're curious. It also just occurred to me, but should I be a bit more vague regarding my ideas to avoid spoilers for those who follow our conversations? Or could this be a sneak peek or a guide of sorts to players who are interested?
  23. Nodruth - a maormer alchemist who is having trouble with learning the ingredients in skyrim. He can be encountered at grave concoctions in Falkreath. Tenlilval - a maormer mercenary who resides in Riften or Morthal because she likes the moisture in those holds, everywhere else feels annoyingly dry to her. She can be recruited any time for the usual mercenary price. Twin axes are her main method of attack. Nylar - a highly skilled knight who specializes in two-handed weapons. He will be found at one of the coasts next to two giant corpses. He will then make his way to the new gnisis cornerclub in Windhelm. Maybe if the player helps him clear a dungeon he will become a follower. Ylia - a maormer who spends most of her nights fishing in Lake Honrich. She will sell some of the fish she catches at a stand in the Riften docks during the day for a low price. This is simply because she is mostly self-sufficient with fishing and cooks the ones that don't sell, and she sleeps on the docks by choice as she doesn't like being indoors for some reason so she doesn't need a house.
  24. Razael, oh the dramatic irony lol! Poor guy. Also I was going to address Lorian's importance in the game and lore, in fact I actually wanted clarify that he never had a prominent role in the events of Tamriel, he was rather miner in the few events he did partake in, he was either training his light magic abilities with the ayleids in Cyrodiil and by himself in Summerset. His help was very minor in the slave rebellion due to him not being very powerful at the time, he was a slightly above average or just average battle-mage then. When he was actually strong enough to do anything he lost interest in the squabbles of Tamriel, except for when the numidium attacked but even he would be powerless at that point (although by the time of skyrim he is much stronger). But I get it if you take out most of his backstory because it still is a lot. Just make him a random falmer priest of Meridia who only appears after the player becomes her champion. His function is only to be a master trainer in restoration and/or destruction, and/or recharge enchanted weapons for free if you either beat dawnguard(as the dawnguard), defeat Movarth, or defeat Potema. His only role is to assist and to teach the dovahkiin, never to be a follower. For the other characters I will try to make them a bit less important so they fit in skyrim a little better. I'll start again in a few minutes with some maormer characters. As for the falmer Shizhina, she could simply be a tailor. Her shop could be called "Shizhina's fine fabrics" or something like that idk (I'm not good with shop names).
