  1. After reading most of the posts in this thread it seems to me like a lot of people don't understand just how good Nexus is in a lot of respects. Awhile ago I got caught up playing Farming Simulator. That community is very fractured and while some mods are hosted here, its a pretty small minority. Mods for that game are spread over a multitude of sites. The majority of those sites scrap each other sites and Facebook and straight up steal mods to host on their site with no thought of copyright. Also there are more than a couple that my antivirus will not even allow me to load because the pages are filled with malware and trojans. There are a couple of other that have d/l caps of 50/kbs. On Nexus you don't have to worry about virus's from the site itself. They take a very strong view on copyright protections. The staff, and even the owner, are fairly easy to get ahold of, and they respond, and their friendly. There are places on each mod page where you can ask questions of the author. For all you people who seem to think Nexus is the bad guy, go try using some of those other sites (I'm not naming them just because they are so worthless and possibly dangerous) and then tell me that Nexus sucks. Also, I would incourage you to read the year end columns that Robin writes where he talks about the shear volume of bandwidth and storage they use.
  2. No, cleaning your masters will not break precombines.
  3. Its a problem with that CC itself and BGS will have to update it. Its not something that can really be fixed on the user end.
  4. Blood Extraction Machine? Sounds neat.
  5. I would post a link to the forums, but I do not know the policy in that. Google Steam Skyrim General Discussion and it should take you there. When you create your thread there it would be helpful if you post your load order from LOOT. There are some very knowledgeable people over there, and I would imagine that they can give you a hand.
  6. Is anyone who uses a verizon hotspot having issues with downloads running very slow (less than 50k/s) or just stalling out for 5-20 minutes from this site? Just to get some other stuff out of the way, I download the majority of mods while at work or elsewhere and bring them home on a USB drive, however I run into the issue of needing to grab the odd patch or having something that I forgot to grab. I want to also say that I have 0 issues when downloading from here using any other connection. Unfortunately, this is pretty much the only solution I have for connectivity at home due to living in a rural area. I do not believe this is an issue with Nexus at all. I spent about 3 hours on the phone with tech support and got elevated a couple of times. They asked me to ask here if any other verizon hotspot customers were running into the same issue, as it may be that verizon themselves are throttling the site for some reason and those techs are unable to see it. I just want to state again that I am very happy with Nexus and I do not think it is their problem at all. I don't have any other options for connectivity at home due to geographical restrictions. Im just starting to get frustrated when it can take multiple hours to download a 20-30mb file (and yet while said slowdowns are occuring I have no problems visiting other sites), and when I'm basically not getting what I'm paying for from that phone company. If anyone else is experiencing this, or not having any problems at all with the same service, I'd love to hear about it.
  7. Well, I'm an idiot. At some point I guess I blocked the PS4 tag. Thats nuts. I completely apologize for wasting anyones time.
  8. Power Line Physics is one I have had trouble with. I just went to the mod page, copied the title, pasted it in the search bar and got no results. I then clicked on "Clear Filters" and still got no results. I hope that provides useful info for you. Edit: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22932/
  9. I actually have 2 suggestions. On the full site: Would it be resonable or possible to move the search bar above the drop down menus? I find that so often when I mouse over to the search bar I accidently catch one of the drop down menus and then click on that instead of the search bar which then can take me to different game page. When looking at the mobile version: When I'm looking at a mod page in the mobile version, I can't see the catagory path for the mod.
  10. Personally, I like it. I liked the old one too. Now that the new one is around I have no intrest in going back to the old layout.
  11. For me, nodded is Heather Casein by a lot. Unmodded, probably Piper.
  12. We are the Minutemen will add combat armor to higher levels, but I think they still wear the MM stuff under that. Also, they do show up with combat rifles, but gauss rifles are more common at higher levels. I have not see something that specifically does what you are asking though.
