Glad to see this thread. I had the same problem three days ago uploading revised archives of my Slimy Mudhole mod. I've been TES AWOL for nine months and was wondering if I'd just forgotten how to upload correctly :blink: Might be worth a temp sticky or thread on the main site until the issue is resolved. Many people are leaving comments telling authors they've forgotten to include data. :biggrin:

well seeing as i broke my hand on wednesday i'd definately wear gauntlets with a healthy reflect damage enchantment on them. All the time. Right now I need skooma with a cyrodiilic brandy. my mit is killing me.

Absolutely needed LHammonds, even if those that most need the clarification don't read, remember or care about this forum's guidelines. But anything the admin and mods can offer by way of guidance to those that simply need a little steerage in this area is a good thing. Especially at the present time when it seems good modders are being brow beaten into submission by ignorance of what is critique and what is abuse. My own personal feeling is that a mention of post placement would not be a bad thing either. Just a simple word on taking a moment to note where you are before starting a thread like, "HELP!!! MY FACE HAS TURNED BLACK!!' in the Feedback&Suggestions forum etc..

I don't know which mod first added this or who created it but I think what you're after is Death's Scythe. I remember it was included in Antenni's The Temple Of Nirn. Doesn't seem to be on nexus but.. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View...ail&id=1452 I forget how many roots you need to collect to get it but the nif is in there and there's also a cheat file so if you don't want to wait..... Hopefully this was the one you were thinking of.

I rented a bed in The West Weald Inn last night. 'Up the stairs, along the corridor and last door on the right'. Fine. but when i got there there was a woman asleep in the bed. I double checked to make sure i'd got the right room but sure enough, that was my room. Ok, i thought, i'll sleep quietly and all will be fine. I don't mind the intrusion if she doesn't. After an hour i was visited by Lucienne Lachance. Back to sleep.. Six hours later i woke again and there were now three of us in the bed. A random man had bedded down beside us during the night. I don't know what goes on in the other Inns around Cyrodiil but in Skingrad 20 septims gets you more than you bargained for.

565- If you knock something off your table while eating in a Cyrodiil tavern you will be arrested for trying to put it back. 566- Though greeted with some initial curiosity, the wheel was not thought to be a practical invention by Cyrodiilians.

Can anyone remember a mod that gave the player a wieldable bouquet of flowers weapon? Maybe as the whole or just a part of the mod. I definitely remember this one from a long time back, (it sort of sticks in your memory) and i want to include it in a thing i'm doing. Done all the usual searches but zip so far. Thanks.

Now that i properly think about it, what I'd really love to see would be the placement of unique and interesting items all over the map as there was in Morrowind, and not just appearing randomly in chests when your level's advanced enough that you don't need them anymore. Anyone remember that long trek to get your Daedric Dai-Katana from Maesa -Shammus Egg Mine? :thumbsup: Or the blades of White Woe? Or those w*nkers in Ghostgate with the Daedric masks who you couldn't kill but... Sorry. Started having flashbacks. Searching for these things was what got me hooked and i miss it. Same goes for stealing nice stuff from stores. I don't want this to sound like, 'Things i miss from Morrowind and hate about Oblivion', because thats not this thread and thats not really fair to Oblivion. Its got many improvements on III. But still, i hope there's some trasure hunting again in 5.

Whatever or wherever the hell 5 happens they need to save their actor budget for the npcs instead of two big name actors we hardly notice. I mean, honestly, who bought the game because Captain Picard and Boromir were in it? That's a Hollywood trend. Gamers don't care. And a longer main questline. Its the spine of the game and should take longer to complete. Maybe advancing in the main quest should be dependent on completing other areas of the game and reaching certain skill levels.

This has me scratching my head. Either a lot of people don't look at where they're posting or they just don't care whether these forums work or not. Mod questions asked in the right sub forum will get answered quicker and more often so its worth the extra few seconds navigation.

Ok, a short one. I don't know whether this was buggy AI or the Porky Grim Reaper but a few days ago I had a boar i was sneaking up on die of natural causes before I could get to the swine. He was standing there in the road one minute with me all poised etc.. creeping up behind him and just as i was about to clobber him he fell over sideways, stone dead, and i was left standing there thinking i'd given him a heart attack somehow. Never happened before. Hope it happens again though. I'm BAAAD!!!

Perhaps there could be a database where any votes of 1-3 are automatically registered. (1 being the most obvious reflex vote but with a margin of two for those who try to sidestep this trap). A record or league table could then simply be referred to periodically to see who if anyone is consistently down-rating and even if its a vendetta against an individual. Dark0ne could then take whatever action he felt appropriate and the process of rating for the 'good guys' would suffer no disruption. Its a bit 'big brother' and i'm not totally happy about that but bogus voting has to be tackled and i'm for anything that does that. We need to trust the file ratings.

hey Povuholo, I just started playing oblivion again after a break and am trying to add some mods i had and some i remember seeing but never using. One thing i want to do is beef up the IC Market District and i definately remember a mod i saw on tess months ago that added stalls and traders to the streets of ICMD. I've exhausted all relevant tags so.. any ideas? Thanks for your efforts in advance. cool idea for a service btw.
