  1. My thought exactly. 1. Sending the db to carry a missive to Falkreath.2. Ascertain the fate of messenger sent to Falkreath. (Jarl business?) 3. Ascertain the fate of correspondent sent to Helgen on the Execution. I prefer to stay away from the "plain mailman" quests, unless it's related to a chick wearing skimpy clothes, but that's just me :P I was thinking more like Whiterun ... Gudrun :P That aside, it's only been 208 years since Morrowind and besides House Telvanni (Distant Memories quest) there are no lore in-game/wikia/uesp that says anything about the downfall of other remaining Great Houses of Morrowind. The story could use House Redoran background for example, having their main capital in Blacklight, is more or less in-charge of defenses at the Vvardenfell-Skyrim border. I was thinking that majority of those herding Dunmer refugee would be from this house. Among them are mixed together Dunmer of the Great Houses with differing professions. The layout of the town you mention, in my perspective comprise of warn-out makeshift houses, a hall, an outdoor healing shack, blacksmith, stalls and in the center a temple (small shrine). On the outskirts, a few Skyrim Watchtowers (alike to Riften) with a copy of Degree of Monument. Just a thought  But like you said, we'd need modders to make the critters, armors and weapons  Edit: ps - Just got my copy of 3ds Max and currently in the process of learning but at the rate I'm going, it's pretty hard to say if I can contribute any time soon
  2. There's a mod for wagon (cart). No chest but you'll be able to ride them. There's a few problems here and there but worth a try if you haven't: SRM Companion Cart - Cheers
  3. There's a mod for it. Maybe not what you're looking for but it's worth a try: WARZONES - Civil Unrest - Cheers
  4. Still remember that one! Had to fight a kwama near the corpse and it was a tough one! :P Anyway, the taxation quest does sound good. With the war going about, it's a good motive for a murder, more so when it comes from Imperials. Maybe you could make it as a trigger to the "Join the Stormcloak" quest. Another idea is, to send the db to Falkreath to ascertain the location of a messenger from Whiterun that had failed to report the situation in Falkreath (with the new pompous Jarl-brat taking the seat, coronation?) or maybe from Helgen itself about the execution. It must have been a big news to be known by the Jarl Balgruf that maybe the rebellion is at an end! Besides, it was in HIS territory that Ulfric was captured! Here's a good site for Norse Mythology Names and Ancient Scandinavian Names. Personally, I'd choose Groa (old Norse for "to grow") or maybe Gudrun (god's secret lore). I'd take the latter since it's more up to what you're thinking of doing! :) I've got no comment on the village location but I think I'm interested in the 6th item. Dunmer refugee village or camp, which ever you choose with all that Red Mountain exploding and everthing. Maybe if we can get a good modder to join, we could possibly add a little Indoril, Redoran Telvanni, Hlaalu or maybe Dres into it, just for the immersion! :D
  5. Not enough with "is that fur growing out of you ears?" remark? :P
  6. @Jerry Ouch ... better watch it matey. @Daisuke I like what I see. I think a daedric armor retax wrapped by frost spell after-effect would do the trick? :P
  7. I don't know if you've tried this mod before: Better Horses or Horse Command. You can access horse inventory (saddlebag) and worth a try.
  8. Just simplify it with the inventory slot concept. Regardless of of item type and weight, each will take up space thus when it runs out, you can't stash more. Leveling up simply adds to the slot. Very much like Diablo 2 I guess...
  9. It'll be super fun if the brawl could be made resembling fist fight of Witcher 2. :D
  10. You call that slop bucket btw :P I'd be surprised if any modders manage to put a slop bucket in every home. Imagine, cramp interior and a slop bucket ... Just wrong. I think those at Whiterun just go ever the river and s*** there. Feel kinda sorry for the ones taking a bath downstream
  11. There you have it! A brilliant countermeasure! :P I like this idea best. Using the resourcefulness of the Blades as being the empire's top agents! Seriously, it's brilliant! :P
  12. If it's about the light, there's a mod for that: Breezehome Lighting Upgrade
  13. Ideas are good, but I think you should post some illustrations just to add impact to your idea (eye catching?) Also, not everyone watch the same movies you have. While I know what Spawn is, I have no idea what Killer Clown/Killer Tomatoes look like, and if I may, I couldn't care less about Google'ing it. Just a suggestion.
  14. Now that you mention it there's that flaw in the idea but I think you can mend that through the letter itself. The story goes as follows if the db didn't send the news within a period of time OR when the bounty/side quest condition is met: db did not send the news of the dragon attack in Helgen to Jarl Balgruf. As time passed, people of Riverwood sent another courier thinking that the db might have perished on the way to Whiterun OR they sent another courier since it's been too long and the aid didn't arrive. I think you can tweak the content of the letter at will to suit your story line. If I missed anything, please tell. I might mend it further. :)
  15. You could set the condition as bounty quest dependent or earning approvals from side quests. The Jarl acknowledge db competency and sends him/her a the letter.
  16. Here's a few pic for reference on Pirate costume A highwayman concept from Fable 3 @Perraine I've been wondering that myself. At least give an effort for something that's being asked for!
  17. Salutation!

I'm currently trying to learn how to mod so I was wondering what kind of software you are using for your rendering? I have 3ds Max installed but I'm trying to figure out about Nifscope and Blender. I use Win7 64bit btw. Hope you could help! Thanks in advance :)

  18. I thought this is the a hammer request thread :P So here's a few kewl concept art for the Assassin's Creed Personally love the top Kukri-like sword
  19. @AjaxSt Ok. So basically you're literally taking the ugliest out of the medieval pot ... Imo people of the past look just like us (no make up ... a little sleezy, yeah) but not downright ugly -.-
  20. @AjaxSt You have GOT to be joking ...
  21. I grew weary already. Too much of everything, one question after another. Instead I'd just give links: - Lore: Dwemer - uesp Lore: Dwemer - elderscroll wikia Your pov against mine. While I think not every Dwemer "were inherently" evil (a minor portion maybe; mostly higher ranks of society), their banishment/exile/or whatever you want to call it; made the entire race became prone/acknowledges the decision of the minority and thus will make them the ultimate villain race of Tamriel on their return. This will be the last post regarding the Dwemer's alignment coming from me. Well, at least when I'm wrong (along with majority that I agreed to), you'd be here to say, "I told you so." ~Cheers
  22. You're contradicting yourself here. First you're saying that the Aedra (Akatosh and friends) are NOT gods, then you said Tiber Septim became a god. Aside from that, Tiber Septim was a Dragonborn and the dragon blood was a Gift (given) by Akatosh (and friends) to selected few. So how was it he supersede those who gave him the gift? Which is which? Also, the heart remained inside the Red Mountain and was NOT stolen (it was the profane tools Sundering, Keening and Wraithguard) and later banished by Nerevarine, NOT destroyed for the Heart was a part of Nirn. In addition, they didn't JUST found it, they experimented on it and found a way to tap into its divinity which LEAD to the Numidium plan. I quote myself: "just enough to ensure that these folly were not repeated by the other races." I though you understood but I'll explain my pov. Yagrum was given the fate to be the last of thier kind and adding to that he was ridden with Corprus disease. If that doesn't show you "We(the eight) made an example of this one so you may take heed not to repeat the same mistake." I don't know what does. Again, as I've said, arrogance born from knowledge of Science and Technology and with all that, their fight against the Chinmer/Dunmer only resulted in a stalemate. They DID use those "enormous armies of animunculi" but the result is always the same. Only when the Heart of Lorkhan was found did things started to change. I believe there was a book in-game that told a story about the Chinmer and Dwemer General ... Sorry if I'm mistaken. They created one because their reasoning and logic did not fit into Godhood descriptions: "He works in mysterious ways ..." Heh. Tiber Septim conquered the world and it was simple ... Although I do agree having a critical attitude towards the lore. :P I for one don't believe Talos deserves to be the Ninth. Various reasons but I don't care to elaborate. ~Cheers Edit: Just for read - Lore: Dwemer Dwemer
  23. It's been awhile since I last replayed Morrowind. So here's my 2cent. I for one think it's not a voluntary exile. The Dwemer as I see it, grew bold and arrogant with their growing knowledge of Science and Technology. There are 2 follies I believe (if I remember correctly) that the Dwemer did to prompt an action of banishment from both Aedra and Deadra. First of all, the tales of the Dwemer trying to trick Lord Daedra Azura with the lock box (which they hid a flower(?) and later removed after Azura gave her answer). They turned on a "summonable" god. So who's to say they won't turn on the others(Aedra)? Second, the attempt to create a god of Logic and Reason which they would call Numidium with the aid of the heart of Lorkhan. Also note that they (if successful) would use this god to crush the Chinmer(Dunmer). And who is to say they would've stopped there(there's Nords whom invaded Vvardenfell. With 2 of these alone I strongly believe that a deal might have been struck between the Aedra (Akatosh and the 7) and Daedra (Azura and the rest of Daedric Lords) to banish the Dwemer race from Nirn. Not all, mind you, just enough to ensure that these folly were not repeated by the other races. So that might explains the lack of books of knowledge and no "casualty" being present in any Dwemer strongholds. Edit: Just for reading - Ancient Tales of the Dwemer, Part XI - Azura and the Box
  24. There's a mod for the googles ... might not be what you're looking for but its worth checking out
  25. Are you wearing DD or J cups by any chance? Jokes aside, thanks for the link! Going to try the mod out. Hopefully it's a craftable. Doesn't say in its description. :ermm: @chaosbringer99 Very nice drawing mate! I'm really impressed. :D You should try contacting armor modders personally (just a suggestion) and give your idea!
