Now that paid mods are gone, it's time to count the casualties..
postal001 replied to Erinaea's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hmm. Says the person who feels entitled to our money for his hobbyist work. Remind me who the entitled ones are? This isn't a case of "toxic community" this wasn't even an option on the table until a week ago. Now you don't get the money you feel entitled to because the gaming community said no, we will not pay for that. This is just you throwing a tantrum, taking your ball and going home. Fine. Do that, but do it quietly. Nobody is interested in your histrionics. And you know what? My money, our money, is what makes this industry work. Your damn right I'm entitled. At the very lest I am entitled to an opinion and if that opinion upsets you, well, that's unfortunate, but, that's life. Best of luck in the future and hopefully you can find a paying job in this industry. edit: Now, I understand a lot of modders were on the receiving end of a lot of verbal abuse, and I can sympathize for that, as that is obviously not acceptable... but to paint a community as large as this with one brush because of a few bad apples is hyperbole, plain and simple. Difference is that no one was forcing people to pay for mods. You don't want to pay? Don't pay and use an alternative mod. Having choices is a good thing. -
Why am I taking such a fps hit with my mods?
postal001 replied to ForOdinForAsgard's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
When you have the top GPU in the world. Getting 20 fps on 1080p is unacceptable. If it's unacceptable, you need to use lower res textures, meshes, etc. -
He already apologized. Be grateful that mods even exist.

Have you tried waiting until the cells reset? -
well, if people find my post as trolling, that is their problem, not mine. why does it matter you ask? it does not, what i am asking in this thread is what other people think about all the generic follower mods making it to the front page, not weather or not it is a good or bad thing. Read the rules of the forums on trolling.

I've looked it up on some mods and it references which other mods modify NPC's, but not for what going on for their faces for other mods being affected Did you look at it in tes5edit?
-
....he's playing at lower resolution than 1080p...why don't you just follow what he did.

You should load up your mods in tes5edit and see how that npc is getting changed.

That's about what you can expect from your video card. Check benchmarks online.

Centralized body slots usage database?

I vote you start one. -
Even if you got it at Best buy, the game still requires Steam. There's no such thing as a 'non-steam' version of Skyrim.

Enough mods can make any pc crawl, even with the best gpu + cpu. You have to make some choices on the mods to use.

There is only one Nvidia GTX 745 OEM, and it is DDR3 model. Card only have: TMUs: 24 x 1033 MHz (core clock) = 24.8 GTexel/s ROPs: 16 x 1033 MHz (core clock) = 16.5 GPixel/s Memory bus 128bit DDR3 - 128 (DDR3 / 4) = 32 x 900 Mhz (memory clock) = 28.8 GB/s No gaming with that card. 28.8 GB/s is very very low memory bandwidth. GTX 990 is better Except that card doesn't exist yet. -

Did you try resetting AFT through its menu? -
Are you certain the enb and the mods are working properly? My only explanation is that most of your mods are not working, especially the enb. Or your TV might just be 720p instead of 1080p.

You don't explain what the actual problem is with Lydia.
