  1. Howdy Daniel and I are working on several projects and we are always looking for others to join us. Current Project and what we are looking for Ebonheart Museum of Art What it is: A Museum of Art consists of Paintings, Drawings, Busts, and Statues to use in decorating your player home. The Art work on display are all activators, activating them will provide a short message regarding the character in the portrait. All the Art is available for purchase from the Museum Curator additionally the Curator will also sell art supplies and books on art. What we currently need: someone who can research the information about the characters in the paintings, the info can be taken from fandom or UESP, UESP is preffered. I had a brain movement (rare in my old age) Thought I'd see if anyone might be interested in a project idea Call it: Sands of Time ( or some other suggestion) Overview A multipart Mod where the player will find an object (Hour Glass or some other time piece) and be sent back in time to take part in one of the history's Battles. A re-creation of said war but on a smaller scale Such as the Slave rebellion and the Nordic-Falmer War. Script issues again Expression error : can not find reference object ( xxxxxxxx ) in script ( xxxxxxxx ) The only time I get this error is when using the Ghost Gate Script This is a Mod I am working on: I have nothing selected other then Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon #1 I add the Activator to the CS and place it #2 I add the Object (which is going to move) to the CS and place it Using the Ghost Gate switch script as a reference #3 I write the same script as the vanilla version adjusting the object ID accordingly, and attach that script to the activator Save it, all good ! go in game to test it, new game or saved game makes no difference I get the expression error ANYONE know why this would happen Thanks Enjoy Dietbob
  13. Thanks for the suggestion Changing it did not work, so far nothings worked I have even tried a switch activator that I know works elsewhere I need to look at it another way Enjoy Dietbob

Howdy Writing (cough) a script simply to make a activator move on its y axis if the player has a specific item in inventory and though I have no errors in the CS or in game, it doesn't work it's probably all wrong but either way hoping someone can get me on the correct path Thanks Enjoy Dietbob
  15. Howdy fellow Morrowind Lovers I am currently working on a small fun project for skillbooks and I am looking for fellow modders of any skill level who would like to join in. (look at some of the concept images on my media page) The idea is to create new books based on a story of a non Lore related character known as "The Mensa" It is rumored the Mensa lived for 1000's of years started his journey of knowledge when the Earth Bones still walked the planet. During the Mensa's travel many books were written covering many subjects, full of unknown knowledge The book was written by Dorisa Dravel (Bookseller) and once purchased, she will send you on a quest to find these books. There are 3 levels of books Skillbooks - these books will teach a skill based on the content of the book, they will not be difficult to find. [Written within these books will be clues to finding the Legendary books.] Advanced Skillbooks- these books will also teach a skill based on the content, additionally they will also give an attribute perk via script, they will be more difficult to find and they will be guarded in some fashion Legendary Books - these books will be hidden in anti-chambers, much more difficult to find and much more difficult to obtain - the books will be enchanted, and provide the player with skill bonus, attribute bonus and enchantment bonus as long as the player has them in inventory. Howdy I have had (as of late) a binge with book cover creating, I have made several book covers using gimp playing around with various symbols and decorative boarders etc etc A thought came to mind about creating a small book mod in which I feature Modders.... in other words make a book with the users avatar on the cover and naming and it accordingly, a short biography of the "showcased" modder (provided by the modder) a list of the mods that they have made for the community and some images of said mods of course I would hope some would be interested in providing the above mentioned (the short bio) so if anyone is interested, please let me know...post it here or PM me or look for me at GHF Enjoy Dietbob

  19. Howdy I am Bob, aka dietbob196045, I been modding morrowind since the CS came out mostly alone but sometimes with other teams. I am currently working a project that I would hope some might be interested in working with me and others This project is by no means lore friendly. It is a fantasy world inside of Morrowind "Pocket Worlds" The Pocket Worlds are interiors build like exteriors they can be any size and can be whatever you want them to be for example my current project is the Land of Ice and Snow, as you might imagine it is all Ice and Snow made with lots of Ice Shards and other ice/snow related objects, but with a small village scattered around the area a gold mine and an area for hunting wild game, it also has a dock with ship to transport goods from one pocket world to another... each pocket world should be unique in the trade aspect, each having a prominent product to export As a team of modders our only connection will be to share ideas, resources, and talents, to coordinate with each other so as not to duplicate items causing errors in the completed project I hope to find interested parties. Ideally talents which include exterior/interior build, texturing, dialogue and of course scripting are preferred. If it just a retexture, break out with some details of what your looking for and I can have a go as far as payment (as above) not legal BUT I will take a trade off since your a good scripter, please explain this: using vanilla assets I create an activator (rename it for my purpose) attach a script (ensure) that the renamed item is in the script if applicable no issues in the CS and checked ( all good) HOWEVER in game I get an ERROR Unable to find referenced object "xxxxxx" (object name) in script "xxxxx" (script name). Happens every time.... it's frustrating Enjoy Dietbob

Good Day fellow Modders I have been modding for a long time but my experience with scripting is limited, I've never had much of a need for anything above the vanilla scripts modified to suit my needs... so I when I need something new I look at other mods and reference whatever script library I can find However in this case I need something I am having difficulty with Summon via invisible marker I would like a script which will summon a creature via invisible marker... doesn't seem too difficult but I seem to be having issues with it This is the reference script I am using, however in game when I reach the marker (trigger) point, the game freezes (just locks up) http://wiki.theassimilationlab.com/mmw/Morrowind_Script_Library#Making_creatures_appear_by_invisible_activator any help is greatly appreciated Enjoy Dietbob
