  1. If you want a lore friendly version of a race and location that is lored into extinction from arniel gain's quest, you're fresh out of luck. What exactly were you looking for, if not a lorebreaking mod?
  2. I go imperials because they are the only ones who can stop the real threat to freedom and Talos worship: the thalmor. If I thought that the stormcloaks could beat the thalmor, I would side with them every day and twice on Sunday, but as it stands, the only way to protect Skyrim and Talos worhip LONG TERM, is to help the Empire in the SHORT TERM.
  3. how about the steam one. I'll PM you my ID.
  4. I'd be happy to try the alpha/beta this weekend (I have a LOOOOONG car ride to a shooting competition this week). Can you post the mod on nexus? I don't know how to install manually. (see what I mean about the whole unable to mod out of a wet paper bag thing?)
  5. I can't mod, but I'd be happy to try to be an alpha or beta tester in a few days, assuming that just means that I tell you when the mod crashes my game and doesn't require me to diagnose (I don't know the first thing about mod making, fixing or editing.)
  6. I really like this idea. Great intro, by the way. I never learned to mod :wallbash: but if I do, I'd be glad to help with the mod creation and even if I don't, I'd be glad to be a beta or alpha tester
  7. Thanks, Pax, the straight answer is much appreciated.
  8. LuDux: lol I get the point @renn: Sorry if I came off as a noob, sadly, that's what I am. All I wanted to know is, what are the risks and, is it legit, as in, something Bethesda doesn't warn about/preferably condones. Thanks for answering my question (even if you were obnoxious) On a side note, feel free to choose option three on my poll. Edit:typo
  9. What is SKSE, that is, how does it work and does it risk damage to my computer, my steam warranty or whatever it is that lets me delete and redownload and, all things considered, is it worth downloading for the mods that use it?
  10. Does this work with bottles of blood? Just curious. Alternately, can you feed off of bandits and the like?
  11. Only about 400 hours with three or so characters. Mostly spellblades, but I'm going to try rogue next run through, I think.
  12. Download mods. Learn to make some yourself and post them. How about a random event system like Deadly Dragons used to have. Skyrim NEVER got boring with that thing! Alternately, use CC to restart your questlines as a near omnipotent dragonborn who has all the shouts known to man and mer!
  13. They should be kicked out of skyrim. After that, so long as they don't attack my allies the innocent, I don't really care. I may be dragonborn, but I can't choose the fates of men or mer. *lets his nerd out* Many who live deserve death and some that die deserve life. Can YOU give it to them? Then do not be so quick to pass death in judgement!
  14. I am going with dawnguards....I like my sunlight, I can't blast dragons with firebolts if I can't see where they fly! Do they accept reformed vampires/werewolves? Cuz I raid a lot of dens and I turned vamp a while back....couldn't bring myself to use a black soul gem to deal with the rulers of the realms of oblivion to cure myself. SO, if they let my, I am dawnguard!
  15. I tend to side with the Imperials because I want Talos worship restpred in the long term, rather than a intermittent restoration. The peace with the dominion is already falling apart and the empire and the dominion will go head to head very soon, probably in a DLC story. The empire is better suited to that fight than the stormcloaks and will restore the worship once they wipe the dominion off the map. If I could give the stormcloaks the same resources and take away some of the racism, I'd side with them, but as it stands, I go with the imperials as the lesser of two evils.
  16. Couldn't you just use the revive command on the corpse and tell him to follow you, then fasttravel to somewhere else?
  17. Warxones phenderix magick evolved deadly dragons dragons diversified these four mods make the game fun again.
  18. You can encounter them beforehand with mods and stuff, but it messes up the main questline.
  19. I would go in this order: 1. Whiterun. That city has the best Jarl, the only one with a proper head on his shoulders. 2. Riverwood. I don't know if this would count as part of whiterun, but I like riverwood, even if it is a crappy skeeverhole of a city!
  20. My city would be a city of second-chances. If you were a daedra worshiper, thief, assassin, I don't really care. I would let you enter, and let you try to rebuild your life to be a good guy. You could worship whatever gods you wanted (The thalmor would have to face off with the dragonborn, parthurnaax and odviing to try to enforce the WGC) and, so long as nobody got hurt, you would live and let live. But, if you decided to return to assassinating, thieving or other crimes, you would be cast out of my city. End of story. Also, we would have a fighting force of spellblades, mages, warriors and rogues (mostly for espionage and sabotage of enemy forces) who would defend our lands, innocents who needed help and any other land who we decided was fighting for the right cause.
  21. Only skeletal dragons don't give out souls, them and Aldiun. All other types of dragons give a souls unless there is a glitch or a mod conflict.
  22. If you have totally cleared the civil war questline, then it should let you proceed. Is you speech not high enough for a successful persuade attempt? If that's it, you need to go and sell some stuff to merchants for a bit, or just complete the quest stage with console commands. specifically, type ~ and then type "player.setstage MQ301 50" or "player.setstage MQ301 60" I don't remember which stage it is. DONT USE THE QUOTATION MARKS.
  23. I personally go for the empire in the civil war, although I was initially a stormcloak man. I went stormcloak initially because, even though my character doesn't worship talos, he still fights for people's freedom to do so. However, at the civil war conclusion, I realized that the stormcloaks actually made it worse by alienating allies that were crucial, like the empire and saw that they were, for the most part, racist. Plus, the oath to make Ulfric high king didn't really go over well with me since that wasn't the cause I was fighting for. Next play through, I tried to go for the empire, and I saw that the imperials were OPENLY against the worship of talos, a war was coming that would soon either end the empire or end the dominion, and by extension, the banning of talos worship. Thus, my character looked for the long run: fight for the imperials TODAY, rescue talos worship for TOMORROW.
  24. There's already a mod for that kind of sword on steam.
