  1. @Agerweb, mhh strange. I did all that, multiple times now. But it does not work. I suppose that I will have to poke around a bit more. @Rigmor, That does sound interesting. But I'm not very fond of the idea that you have to endure 2 loading screens whilst it should only be 1, to be completely honest. Unless it doesn't work like that lol. Eitherhow, at the moment I simply have a cave linking to the new world. (In Skyrim self, with mapmarker to entrance cave.) Not ideal, but it will do for now I suppose.
  2. @Rigmor, doesn't this mean that you would first be teleporting to the mapmarker and then "fall" into the autodoor. And thus two loading screens? Or am I getting this wrong? Will give it a shot though. @Agerweb, alright. So if I read this correctly, the way I placed the mapmarker should work? I just poked around in the Dragonborn DLC and looked at the mapmarkers. I did notice that the mapmarker in Windhelm linked to a load door underground. But also to a mapmarker somewhere in sea. Can't say that I can make much sense out of this, still fairly new to the CK when it comes to these types of things.
  3. Alright, tried that. But I still can't see a mapmarker on the map. Also tried placing a mapmarker in the Tamriel worldspace and the Xmarker in the new world space, with no luck. I also made Tamriel the parent worldspace of my worldspace but that also didn't do much. Do you by chance know what I might be doing wrong? Steps I did: Placed mapmarker in my worldspace, then placed a Xmarker in Tamriel world space, Ref Linked mapmarker to Xmarker. (And reverse, with worldspaces)
  4. Hey all, I am currently working on a mod that is set in a new world space. It's already quite far in the process but I still have to add a mapmaker. However I have no clue how to actually do this. I couldn't really find anything on the internet, and looking at the mapmakers in Solshteim also didn't bring me more knowledge. So I was hoping somebody here could maybe help me? What I want to do is to have a mapmarker a bit outside the borders of Skyrim. (Like you have with the Dragonborn/Dawnguard DLC.) Does anybody here knows how to do that? Unimportant note, but eh, maybe it was a step in the right direction? I placed a Xmarkerheading at the right coordinates and then Ref linked it with the mapmarker in the new world space. But that didn't seem to work. Sadly, other then that I would have no idea. Thanks in advance
  5. Huh, didn't know this mod became unavailable. I think I still have a 1.6 version somewhere on my external hard drive, but nice to see you can get it on the internet archive. Guess having a backup with your old time favorite mods isn't such a bad idea after all :)
  6. Alright, I've tried what you suggested and that seems to work! I did in fact copy the formatting options from a vanilla letter, interesting how it didn't work. Anyhow, thanks a ton!
  7. Thanks for the reply! I've tried using the Notepad++ suggestion, but sadly to no avail. (Saved in UTF-8) Also went through the region/language settings but I don't think that has anything to do with it. Region is Europe and language is English or Dutch, and IIRC those are standard ASCII? Guess I'll have to poke around a bit more
  8. Hey all, I'm currently trying to make quests and the like. But I keep having this annoying issue with books and letters. Which is that in-game (Newly made) books/letters have squares instead of text. Like this I've tried googling it but those searches all seem to be about menu text. So I am hoping that somebody here can tell me what can cause this or what I am (probably) doing wrong? Thanks in advance! Also I should maybe note, I do use a menu font replace if that matters anything.
  9. Currently enjoying a (soon to be) OP build in Morrowind. Never really did that so it's quite fun! Also BF1/4 with friends and sometimes ARMA 3. Kinda looking for something new but most games are kinda meh looking, or my PC is to outdated to run them. Witcher 3 for example ;-; If only the hardware market wasn't so damn overpriced nowadays..
  10. After spending around 3/4 years modding Skyrim and such, I decided to check out the actual forums. Which looks like fun! I did make a new account however due my older account name is kinda cringing me out, it uses one of my first "gamertags". I'm not really a hero in making introductions, so excuse me if this post looks kinda weird lol. Some hobbies of mine! - Collecting vinyl - Collecting older PC games (Mainly TES or nostalgia bound games though) - Exploring music genres/artists, also talking about genres/artists - Watching TV series and playing games (Though, I don't game as often as I used to anymore) - Modding, still very novice with this though And other things, however those are not really worth mentioning or something lol. Like I mentioned above, I love exploring new genres! So here, take some of my favorite genres; Neofolk, Post-Punk, Cold/Dark Wave, Lounge/Chillwave (however you want to call it) and Industrial/EBM. Mobb Deep and Cannibal-OX (Hip-hop), Those Poor Bastards (Gothic Country) Named these specific artists because I'm not to familiar or fan of the entire genre ^^ That's not all but I don't want to spam this entire post with genre names  Anyhow, glad to have taken the step to check out the forum! Wish you a good morning midday or evening!
  11. Hey there folks! After seeing various threads like "Share your Spotify playlist" and "Currently listening", I was wondering if people here also use Last.fm? And as much as I would like to share my Spotify playlists, it's kinda tricky since I have quite a lot haha. So sharing your Last.fm profile would probably be easier! Would love to stumble upon new profiles that have a medium/great compatibility. It's always nice to share artists and genres with people that have the same taste! Eitherway here is my profile! https://www.last.fm/user/Kruziikrel (Man I wish I could change my profile name) For those that aren't familiar with Last.fm, it's basically a music site that can keep track of the music you are listening to! Personally I couldn't live without it anymore, mainly because I love to have statistics and such but also because it's so much fun to see your history in music taste!
  12. Last epsiode of Westworld, already miss the show lol.
  13. Really getting into Lounge since the last two weeks, "Revolution Solution" by Thievery Corporation and Perry Farrell.
  14. Hey folks of Nexus forums! So I've made a house in the CS and now want to link it to the outside world. The door works like it should when entering the house however it sends the player to a whole different "DoorMaker" when leaving the house. I tried placing a new "DoorMaker" in front of the correct door but they seem to dissapear (I have "View Markers" enabled) To give some form of a example, Entering the house is, Teleport to "Player Home" Leaving the house is, Teleport to "Pelagiad,08" (Something like this) Sometimes the option to change the teleport is even grayed out and like I said before, the CS isn't allowing me to make a custom "DoorMaker" in the outside world. So yeah, I'm kinda out of ideas how I could fix this annoying problem. If anybody here could explain me how this works I would be most grateful! (Sidenote, first time using the Construction Set. So excuse my newbness)
