But ASA I go out in the open, from Jearl's house for example, within the next 5 minutes, the freezing occurs. It did happen once. Same thing when I tried to "fly" over the city using TCL command. And yet I TRY to keep the number of plugins low, I resisted a number of temptations :devil: Now I understand what you said regarding the battle of Bruma, but here I didn't even reach that point; I only started in the storyline and Jauffre only just sent me find Captain Burd, yet I can't even get in the 200 meters near him and the Gate: my game will freeze right amidst the Jerall Mountains, as the name appears in the bottom left corner of my screen, for instance. After that; I can't get out of this but by reboot the computer, as Oblivion will not allow ANY operation. So if really the number of mods I am using is at fault here, I am more than willing to thin it out. But that's puzzling that it would react so bad only at that point of the game while it's perfectly fine(?) anywhere else, I say. Any remark regarding Enhanced Daedric Invasion?

Umu. I see... you even tried creating a new toon, you said. In this case you might want to try and delete your Oblivion.ini file which should be located in My Documents/My Games/Oblivion. I had about the same problem, where Oblivion wouldn't even give me the time of the day when I tried to launch it, would it be on a fresh hence clean install. Turned out that my Config file was faulty; probably crammed with OBSE settings, which were no longer used and Oblivion.ini was requesting these from an unmoded game; we all know the result: CTD at launch. Hi, I would like to submit an idea I got recently while playing with one of my favorite swords, that is Highlander Sword. The Masuhiro katana with ivory tsuka and dragon kashira that Koto Hideo bequeathed Duncan MacLeod. Although the sword can look like it, this is definitely not it, which is obvious to any conoisseur/HIGHLANDER fan, which I am. So I would like to request if there are any other fans or simply swords enthousiasts out there that like the work of Marto as much as I do, and would like to take on making models for some of the most beautiful and legendary swords made by this manufacturer. I'd personally would like both Mac Leod Katana, Duncan's Masuhiro and Connor's Masamune; The sword of MacLeod; the Kurgan's sword; Richie Ryan's Don Quijote rapier; Rebecca Horne's/Amanda Montrose's sword; Methos's sword (Ivanohe in Marto's catalogue); Marto's Excalibur; Catholic Kings and Charles V swords; Garcia de Paredes sword (the one with round crossguard finished by balls and sporting one ring on each side of the blade); Robin Hood's sword; Lancelot du Lac's sword; Prince Valiant's Singing Sword; Richard I's sword; and Frederic I Redbeard's sword. Hi, everybody. I am posting this because I am facing a more or less serious but undoubtedly obnoxious case of wanton freezing in my game. Explanation: Each and every damn time I go near -distance varies- the Gate to Oblivion that opened in front of Bruma, my game will stop short, freezing my screen and the PC becomes unoperable; I can't even Alt+Tab or Ctrl+Alt+Del to kill the program. Hi, I'm currently having the same problem as Jesse_Dylan had. Every new save attempt I make ends up in a CTD / Corrupt save combo; and that's annoying as can be. It came up after I deactivated SSS.esp (Devil May Cry Combat by Aluku) in my LO to try to reload it so it would trigger, having achieved the Lv10 required to use the moves. Then I try to make a clean save, and CTD! No clue about the reason. I tried to reactivate it, to no avail; still crashing, and I can't even Fast Travel either.

Hi there, everyone. I have a small issue in my game, where I get freezing everytime I load a save in which my toon is located aside a door. At first I thought it might be because I had forgotten to unload Better Cities Classic.esp whilst I am using Open Better Cities.esp; so it might be source of the conflict most likely. So I deactivated/deleted it of course, and loaded a save near the Imperial City, Prison District side, since it's shortly after getting out of the sewers. And my game froze. I tried heading back into the tunnel to make a save where I am not inside the World space, then load it to erase all influence from Open Better Cities/Open Cities; but I still froze after loading, the exact same way I did in the Market District or inside my Elven Gardens Loft (by Carah). Anyone might have an idea of what is causing this? I know that can't be Better Cities itself since I already used it before and never experienced this; the only difference would be that I am actually applying it to the WHOLE IC now, not sparing IC, Elven Gardens District so as to not mess up my house mod, like I used to (since it's inside the N/NW wall I feared it might jam it but it actually didn't) Aside from this, I am now using MMM and The Lost Spires too if that can be related. I can't even say that I am surprised, given I already met an instance where Bash would insist so that I load MMM BEFORE Oblivion.esm itself :ermm: As for CM Partners I must confess I never really looked into it ;D So when it is said that DR MUST load DEAD LAST, it refers to all the DR-reliant modules, and not Deadly Reflex 6 - Combat Moves.esp itself, I take it? Hi, I too have a problem getting DR6 to load. It doesn't activate when I load a game, although I loaded it after UVII in Wrye Bash, I do have NifSE 1.1 and all the needed patches. And Deadly Reflex 6 -HeX NifSE Patch.esp NEEDS to be after Deadly Reflex 6 - Combat Moves, so...All seems good thus far, but when I try to use DR6 commands, well nothing happens, tho UVII work fine. What might the problem be according to you? I've tried everything I could possibly think of and I'm at my wits end, here.And NO, I won't consider leaving Deadly Reflex to use Duke Patrick's mod instead.

I was just ecstatic at seeing the whole credits sequence running with no CTD :dance: I can't comment on the first post, but as for Ludsama, please try to delete your oblivion.ini and try to launch the game again. Hey there everyone! Ihappen to have about the same issue, safe I have NO MODS installed anymore. Actually I am trying to launch a FRESH OBLIVION install, with only the Oblivion.esm and the official/unofficial patches installed. To no avail. I know it can't be that the fault lies on my system config: I first installed and ran it fine on this machine since I build it myself, and since then nothing ever changed, I am still running the exact same config that posed no problems before. Ever since I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the soft, it just won't launch for anything. Anyone might have an idea of what's going wrong here? I am posting my DXdiag in case it helps you.
