  1. Ok, if I understood correctly one thing you said was that it might be LOD related. I had a couple of LOD mods on, turned them off and the game worked fine. Looked a little further into it, apparently Someguy's Russell follower conflicts with one of them. Unfortunate, I was hoping to have New Vegas look a little better this time around, but ultimately I'd rather have another well written follower than have a somewhat better looking game. Thank you for everything!
  2. Ok, what the error said was Faulting application name: FalloutNV.exe, version: 1.4.0.525, time stamp: 0x4e0d50edFaulting module name: FalloutNV.exe, version: 1.4.0.525, time stamp: 0x4e0d50edException code: 0xc0000005Fault offset: 0x002fcf03Faulting process id: 0x2becFaulting application start time: 0x01d6c1f8b38f5834Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\FalloutNV.exe Googling that exception code got me a lot of info. Gonna try a few things, hopefully one of them works. If you have anything you'd recommend I try from that, I'll give it a shot EDIT:Tried verifying integrity of game files, updating drivers, removing inactive plugins, and installed NVTF and Mod Limit Fix. Nothing so far. From what I've read, it sounds like the 4GB patch should fix this, but I already installed it and it hasn't. The thing is, I can't remember if I installed if before or after New Vegas started crashing, so I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to uninstall it just to see if it makes a difference
  3. Hi, I recently reinstalled New Vegas and downloaded a bunch of my favorite mods. It worked fine, but I realized I'd forgotten to click to activate some of the ESM and ESPs. Now that I've activated the rest of them, the game won't load without crashing. Unfortunately, I don't' remember what specifically I had active while it was working and what I activated after. If I provide my load order, would anyone be able to give me a suggestion of what might be the issue? It's been about 5 years since I last did a full play through of New Vegas, so I apologize if I made any obvious mistakes. 4. All Eve wants is to have her glory immortalized in the form of a video game character! Put her in and the curse will be ended!
  5. Nevermind that. I somehow completely forgot about the fact that last year my old laptop broke and I don't have the 100 or so mods installed on this new one. That save's not gonna work. Just gonna have to download a good savegame from the nexus.
  6. Just realized that in my last Skyrim playthrough, the civil war was one of the last questlines I finished. Going back to a save before I gave the Empire' the crown shouldn't require going back too far. Gonna have to try and come up with some RP reason my Dunmer would side with them, but oh well. Don't really feel like replaying the entire game again.
  7. My laptop recently broke, and though I got a new computer, the only save games I had on Skyrim were heavily modded, and are now unusable. Any chance of providing a save to use with this mod like you did with the expansion to Bounties II?
  8. Damn, sounds like that would have been amazing, though I can definitely see how battles of the scale described would completely break the game. Even without FBZ though, the Someguy series was one of the best mod series I've ever played.
  9. Looking pretty exciting! I'd volunteer to test, if not for the fact that my knowledge of load order management is pretty much non existent.
  10. For 5, if when talking to him, you say you're a bad person or something like that instead of telling him there's a bounty on his head, he'll tell you Marco forces him to do what he does, that he was enslaved. You can let him go then. For 8, Marco does have a unique pistol, Old Scratch. It should be looted from him.
  11. There was a part where you could use Terrifying Presence on Ford. After sparing Doolin, Ford gets pissed at you and you threaten to skin him to bind a dime novel with.
  12. So, with the Someguy series coming to its glorious end, think you could make some top 10 list of your favourite westerns, or other movies that have inspired your writing?
  13. That sounds fantastic! Sounds like it'll be a distillation of all the planned mods into one little conclusion to the series.
  14. Keep staring. Repeatedly. Is it even better than when he calls you a deranged necrophiliac? How to you get him to call you that?
  15. Damn, that was amazing! You've really taken writing in mods to a new level. The way you'd described Marco, this horrible, evil, perfect match to the Courier, I was worried you may have overhyped him, that the man in black couldn't possibly be what he legends said he was. I was wrong to worry. Marco was nothing like anything I'd faced before. He really is the Satan to the Courier's God. Really hoping you're able to get The Better Angel's finished, because you were right, physically and mentally, Marco will f*#@ your character. Just one question. After the ending slideshow, I have the issue where you cant control your character. Tried using enableplayercontrols, but all that did was bring back the ud, still couldn't move, didn't get any perks or other messages popping up. Other then that though, perfect mod from start to finish.
  16. Will I be missing out on any Russel content in the future if I bring him to his death in this? Are there any plans for that Path of the Ranger expansion to Russell you mentioned ages ago?
  17. The Better Angels, don't recognize that as a name you've mentioned an outline for before. Guessing it's something new, some smaller mod, taking the idea of the the effects of, and the recovery from the effects of the ending of Bounties III, that were going to be in S&S and The Message. Possible it's something entirely unrelated though, like Killer, or King of the Ring.
  18. Got a question about the ending that can hopefully be answered relatively spoiler free. Someguy described the ending to the Lake of Fire draft, and has given hints about the real ending, about how soul crushing it will be, but will it be satisfying? I guess a better way to put it is will it be closer to the Lake of Fire, "Everyone dies, you accomplish nothing" ending, or will it be more of a "You won, but was it really worth it?" style ending?
  19. For SuperEpik, I wrote all this up up a few months ago. Has info on all the potential mods Someguy's described. 1SaBy, thank you very much for all the info. Glad I'm not going to have to do a speedrun of the Someguy series before Saturday just to remind myself what's happened so far.
  20. Got a question about Bounties III. One of the great things about your mods is how characters and decisions carry over from mod to mod, but it's been a couple years since the last update to Bounties II, the last time I played through the whole series. Could you or anyone else in the thread give a brief summary of events and names that are likely to come up in this final instalment?
  21. It's good to have you back man! Cannot wait for this weekend, though I really didn't mind the wait. Knew when you eventually were ready, it would be worth it.
  22. The best way for us to convince him to finish the game would be for us to give him some modders juice (also known as Whiskey) why whiskey? Why not? Have a drink. ........i'm not even 21 yet. I'm 15..... I used to always leave a bottle of whiskey lying next to the bodies of the bounty targets as my characters calling card.
  23. I do. Also, am I the only one who has high expectations for fallout 4? I've seen the pre-release footage and I like what I've seen. I'm expecting a good yet buggy game like fallout 3, one which I could play for many hours on many playthroughs. Of course I'm not sure what to expect story wise, but I'm not too worried about that. I hope there's a lot of funny dialogue choices, with plenty of options for low Int. characters. (Talking to people in Helios One in N.V. had some good examples of what I'm looking for.) That "Bloodbug" from the gameplay trailer looks like it would be really scary. Gotta agree. Sure, 4 won't be as good as 1, 2, or New Vegas, but it looks a hell of a lot better than 3. It looks like they have put more work into story this time around, and even if it'll likely not be a story as well written as New Vegas, or as the Someguy series, but that doesn't mean it'll be bad. And as for judging the possible story based on how Skyrim was, I thought Fallout 3 had a better story than Oblivion, so I'm not worried about 4's not being better than Skyrim. The Elder Scrolls games, other than Morrowind, seem to have overall less story focus than the Fallout games. I loved Oblivion's story, really felt that me and Martin were fighting for the fate of Tamriel (even if the battles are small, but its an older engine,it wouldn't handle a huge amount of NPCs),really felt sad when Martin sacrificed himself to save Tamriel and the Septim dynasty was destroyed, and the Mages Guild actually had you use magic and Thieves Guild had you use stealth, unlike Skyrim, but I disliked Fallout 3's story,it didn't provoke any emotions for me,even when my Dad died,I knew him for 20 minutes for Christ's sake I'll admit, I'd probably enjoy Oblivion a lot more if I played it again now. Back when I first played it, I was going through a bad depression, and I think the rather tragic feeling main quest, Dark Brotherhood quests, and even parts of Shivering Isles were hard to enjoy.

  25. I've really gotta agree on that last point. If Bounties III never comes out, I'll kind of wish he'd never announced it. With just New Vegas Bounties, its amazing sequel, the fantastically written The Inheritance, and the glitchy but amazing Russell quest, Someguy would've already made a permanent name for himself in modding. Now I worry he'll just be remembered as the guy who disappeared with a 90% done mod.
