  1. This has probably already been answered so if someone could link me to the answer that would be perfect. If not I would like someone to possibly explain how the texture system works in F4. Just now my current knowledge of the texture system is that it uses a PBR-Spec/Gloss system. This means that the diffuse map uses a base colour map, the normal is just a normal normal map, and the specular is a combination of specular and glossiness with the spec being in the red channel and the glossiness being in the green channel. I've also read somewhere that the blue channel is used for AO. Is this true or false? Now onto the problem I am having. I use Substance Painter to create textures and settings its viewing shaders to PBR-Spec/Gloss makes everything look like trash. I'm assuming that this is how it is going to look in-game. I've also read somewhere that it is the .bgsm that gives the texture a proper look. Is this true or false? Is there any way to incorporate the metallic and roughness texture sets into any of these maps? In Substance Painter the textures look really good with metallic and roughness included. I have read through many forum posts about this but none of them have provided me with a definitive answer. Here are my export settings in Substance Painter: http://i.imgur.com/F1ADBul.jpg

  5. Hey there, So I am trying to add compatibility for AWKCR to my M1014 mod and I have ran into a problem. I am doing this through a separate plugin file. Whenever I craft my gun through the Weaponsmith Workbench it is just an invisible mesh. So far I have given the correct Workbench keyword, category workbench and have added the AEC_ma_Master_Weaponsmith_Keyword to the weapon itself. What is it I am doing wrong and also in the CK when I have both my main esp and the patch esp selected, the weapon and crafting recipe both have duplicates. Is this the problem?
  6. Hey there, I am trying to create shotgun round with an EMP style enchantment on them. I have managed to get the EMP effect all set up but I am having a problem with the way the projectiles actually look. I have tried to create a projectile based off of the incendiary projectile as I like the effect of the projectile. It uses a file called IncendiaryTracerBeam.nif and in that I have changed a colour value to make it a light blue instead of orange but in-game the projectile is still orange like the incendiary projectile. Could anyone give me any advice on how to change the colour of this projectile to a light blue instead of the orange?

  9. Hi there, Is there a way to sort out weapon mods in the weapons workbench? As of right now my standard attachments are at the bottom of the list instead of the top. I'm pretty sure I've seen a thread about this before but I can't find it. Could someone direct me to that thread or tell me how I could sort them? Thanks.
  10. So I am currently adding in a new weapon into the game and I have included a short barrel mod for it. The problem I am having is that the front sight isn't moving to fit in place with the short barrel. The front sight uses the node C-FrontSight. How would I make it so that the sight will adjust itself to fit the short barrel? Thanks
  11. You probably have the default gun set with these attachments on. If you open up the weapon in the CK and click object template you can remove the attachments to make it the standard gun.
  12. Hi, I am in need of someone who is good at texturing. I currently have an M1014 model that I would like to add into the game but I do not have any textures for it and would like someone to make some textures for it. The textures don't need to be anything amazing but something that at least looks good. If you are interested either PM me or leave a comment. Thanks.
  13. Yea, I really want to add this into the game considering that the vanilla SMG sucks absolute ass. Hopefully a skilled individual will come through for us and make it.
  14. Could somebody make a model of the MPX along with some textures for it? I will add it into the game myself but I can't for the life of me make things in 3ds max.

  17. How would I go about lining up the iron sights of a gun to where the bullet will actually go? Just now my sights are higher than where the bullet goes. Is it just an angle change on the mesh or is it something else?
  18. I've sort of solved my problem after looking at that. After redoing the nodes the receiver shows up in the CK just fine but now whenever I try to add in the other parts of the weapon the CK just crashed. I know it has something to do with the custom meshes because it works perfectly fine if I use a vanilla mesh. Any chance you could have a look at the .nifs for me?
  19. I am trying to add a weapon into the game and I have set everything up in the CK but the weapon is invisible both in the CK and in game. Each individual part is visible in the CK when making them into weapon mods but when I try to put the weapon together in the Object Template section of the weapon nothing shows up. Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what I am not doing?

  21. There will be conflicts if any mods edit the same clothing as this mod. Just put this mod close to the bottom of your load order and everything should be alright.
