  1. Isnt the plug-ins that limit you? 255 isnt it? IDK, I think someone mods avoid those, so I guess that sets a figure wholly dependent on your Mod load. I am assuming it's going to be different for everyone, within that limit no?

The fact that you CAN get UNP and CBBE armours that DONT rely on XMPSSE tells me that it just something Modders to be cutting edge.... but I dont like the edge, unless pushing people off it maybe.... so yeah, I dont think it's good. As for my reasons, see above. I will just learn to convert back. It will definitely be possible. I am not about to download two waste of space mods just to get XMPSSE (and High heels in a Medieval fantasy world? Bwhahahahahahahahahahahahaha, hard pass).

I have some idea of what meshes look like, and coded nodes for virtual weight, my question was WHY it was necessary for anything NOT physics related, and since the base game 'Skeleton' is perfectly capable of managing meshes already in the game and UNP and CBBE non Physics armours and the meshes themselves..... from everything I've read in your reply, my conclusion is it is NOT necessary....modders choose to work with the improved skeleton. But that tells me a reverse engineering endeavour to redo the meshes for a static non physics, animation free, base, ergo vanilla, or even UNP or CBBE without Physics is possible. Check the attitude though, I prefer NO answer than one loaded with such. Yet, I'll indulge you, and answer your last question. I am not interested in FNIS, as it is VERY MUCH pushing the boundaries, and is no longer supported by THE CREATOR... no issue with the Nexus Mods folk having it, but that makes a massive difference to me. More, I am not a fan of having to 'run' anything, any time I want to download, redo, or initialize anything. It's a lot of effort for sh*t I do not want and will not use (and I dont have any qualms with it morally, I think censorship should be abolished except for hate speech and sedition), because that's not what Skyrim is for. I can go download 20 different f*ck simulator games to play out any 100 different perversions that are MUCH better suited for that than SSE. Nor do I want RaceMenu, it will just be a pointless programe taking up space on my computer that I will never use, as I am totally satisfied with male character creation in the vanilla SSE engine. As I have no plans to ever play as a 'Hot chick' and dont understand boys today seeming to always want to, and since it cannot be used in game as an NPC redesign tool, the way you can edit NPCs in FO4, then it's an entirely pointless and useless mod to me. Thus, I am never going to DL them. THAT"S why I wont Download XMPSSE..... it forces me to download two requirements I will NEVER use, and dont like. I guess I will just have to learn how to convert any armours I like to Non-XMPSSE versions for my UNP myself. Good day to you.

OK, so I see a lot of mods, armour mods especially, sometimes followers, that require XMPSSE, and seemingly this is a hard requirement even for mods that are offering non-Physics/Animation options. I am wondering WHY? I can guess the Skeleton allocates values and variables for Body Slide, and a frameworkl for advanced custom animations in something like FNIS that cant be done with Vanilla bodies.... but what else? Why does stuff that doesnt seem to be related to that require it? Like when I look at an armour, that has a non-physics UNP option, that has now Body Slide either, as one of the files available, why does it still require XMPSSE? Why would a Sword that is available just as a mesha and texture change, without any additional animations, still require it? XMPSSE seems like it is simply a tool for allowing Body Slide versatility in Race Menu to be put in to objects like armours, or to allow physics animations or custom weapon animations..... or... like... s3x animations like Flower Girls. Am I wrong in this? Just seems like I am seeing a whole bunch of stuff that shouldnt need it, still saying it needs it. Same with RaceMenu, though I have not seen that as much. If someone could answer this it would make things make a lot more sense to me in my modding endeavours.

I am looking for Bikini Armour based on the Vanilla armour, that's been 'Bikini-ized'.....in UNP........ but WITHOUT Physics, or more specifically, WITHOUT the requirement for XMPSSE and RaceMenu and FNIS. If a mod author wanted to give such a thing a crack, that'd be great, I sure as sh*t cant find any for SSE like that. They all want me to have XMPSSE, RaceMenu and FNIS. Seems like there's an empty niche on the Nexus for that kind of armour in UNP.

  8. You might try an different site more.....suited.... to..... LOVERS........of those things.... more risque, revealing.... more passionate and carnal..... it's a modders ........LAB .........of sorts, dedicated to those things..... Though the Apachi Divine Elegance Store mod here on the Nexus actually has a couple of outfits for men that very revealing, as well simple underwear outfits. Maybe check that out? I can see some of those underwears paired with some big fury boots, the right bandoliers and short bear cloak, with the right gloves, say the Stormcloack commander bracers, creating a very 'Conan' look.
  9. Skyrims base engine is almost two decades older than the game itself, and that will always be a limitation. To run the character/face generation of say a game like Quantric Dreams' Detroit; Become Human, which certainly had characters that looked almost that good, in an open world RPG that required a lot of random resource allocation for chance generation in the game world, would, I suspect, one, be a monumental task in terms of balancing the core programe efficiencies, and even then, two, require the most cutting edge high end hardware architecture to play. Though I openly admit I am no computing Tech head, so maybe that's coming sooner than I think. Not here now though, and not in this engine. Could you get a lower resolution, lower detail approximation? Yes. If you get programes that allow you to modify high polygon custom heads, people make some excellent looking presets and followers with this stuff, but all you need to do is look at the most recent custom high poly followers, and see how far short they fall of what you're looking for. Could you get what you're looking for? Not even close in terms of realism.

  11. In the Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time on the N64 (brilliant game), the city gates where closed at night. I think this is a request for a mod that makes cities locked at night, so if you rock up to Whiterun at 3am, you cant get in. Of course, this would only work with a mod that disabled fast travel to locales WITHIN the city, or else it would become ever and ever more moot, as you discovered each keep and other FT enabled locations INSIDE the walls, and could just travel there. More, you'd probably also want a mod that erected walls around small towns, and gave them gates, otherwise you'd have no problem showing up to Solitude after midnight say, finding the city gates closed and locked for the night, and just FT to Morthal and find it np to walk in to the inn, and get warm safe and fed. It's possible, but what you'd need is three or four mods, not one, to make it really feel immersive.
  12. I am looking for a mod that deletes the restrictions on marriages, and removes anything that registers you as married to other NPCs, without removing any of the benefits of marriage. I even without mods, you wind up with what? 7 or 8 homes in SSE? With mods? Who knows. But they are always basically empty, unless you use multiple adoptions, grab some animal followers, and get a good follower framework. Yet even then, it seems unrealistic, unimmersive, to have a bunch of lackeys, sometimes guards, animals and pets, sometimes house staff, a steward depending.... and then kids.... like you just leave your kids with these people.... yet I am not a fan of being inundated with gabble from kids, so, because I AM a bleeding heart, and love the idea of saving SIX kids who need it most, not two....I am looking to spread them out, two here, one there, another somewhere else, another here... etc etc etc. That way I only have to put up with one or two harassing me for money, toys, or playing...... which is of the utmost importance lest I become to view them as I view Braith, with matching life expectancy. Yet just dropping the little bastards off with random miscreants who latch on to the Dragonborn for their own selfish reasons, seems a rather stupid move. Solution. Give each one a new Mother, by a bit of the good polygamy! That way pretty low maintenance Sylgia, can dwell in some place in the Rift in one of my custom houses, showing her eternal thankfulness for my dragging her out that mine, by raising children her black lunged broken physiology couldnt provide us with, whilst that drug dealing kahjit f*cking, con woman Ysolda can raise one in Whiterun, prove to me she's useful beyond killing on the spot for her crimes, and yet some others can be raised by that silly hauty elf, so boring yet condescending I dont even recall her name, in Solitude. Problem solved, my houses dont feel empty, my rescued children get mothers as well as their father-dov.... and Skyrims finest washed up old maids get one last shot at happiness, staving off their otherwise inevitable suicide a little longer. BUT..... it has to not impede my progress with any other women, I like Vilja and Sofia, and need to marry both, Drs orders, I like Aela and Mjoll, and both must be wives, not like the above wives, cos I like these ones, obviously, but proper wives..... also, I have a couple of followers who wont marry you, but are down to f*ck..... which is great...because they give more, do more, for me, the more they like me, and they like me more if slipped some D.... but they have ...idk....morals and crap...and wont be so DTF, if I am effing anyone else... so the mod needs to nix that sh*t. So far I have not seen a polygamy mod... and there's only a few....that achieve all this. Yet as you can see, this is critically essential to any serious Skyrim players, so I am asking for some savvy modder out there to come up with this! THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!!

No need to thank me for that my friend, it's bloody idiotic folk can get away with that, I am not very savvy, I could never mod, so hats off to you for that, but yeah, absolutely, editing a voice isnt Custom Voice.... and they really mess things up, because that tag is the best way to try to find the actual custom voiced followers. On a side, note, in the mod you made, are the custom voiced characters your daughter and yourself voiced followers? I am always looking for interesting members for adventuring parties, so I'd love to check them out if they are!
  14. Try Silian Manor and Frostvale Manor that put homes just outside of Solitude and Windhelm respectively. The guy who built them, and I forget his name, does the perfect Skyrim houses as far as I am concerned. They're amazing, vanilla assets and no little 'chic' touches, nothing 'Elianora' or the like.....if that's important to you they wont do..... BUT......they're perfectly lit, fully navemeshed, adoption and follower friendly, and I mean follower friendly with sandboxing enabled and over a dozen follower beds, and his mods even have staff, but not preposterous 'Castle' mod staff of dozens and dozens, usually just a couple of guard/followers and handy merchant, a horse, and for you, most of all, the biggest armory spaces I have seen without becoming overwhelming. Oh and they're also completely in the world space, no caves accessing some off world cell. Best of all, most of the interiors are in ONE cell across the floor plan and storeys. Ergo, there's only the house, the basement, and maybe on some of his houses a tower, or attic. So you can go from making food, to sleeping, to bathing, to crafting to storing things to displaying arms and armour, all in the one cell, NO load screens. As far as I see it, this guys mods so be the benchmark in parcticality and substance, that underpins all 'Style" houses. He gets them just right, perfect size, perfect features, perfect locales, just do bare in mind that compared to many Skyrim mod houses, they are a bit plain, but I've yet to see ONE Skyrim house that bests his designs in pure gameplay functionality and practicality. So if you're looking for a ton a of storage for arms and armour in a manageable package, not too huge as to be an effort to live in, and not too small as to miss out on the all the required features in a skyrim house seemingly just to keep it bijou, I'd definitely look at those two, then check the mod authors other houses too.

I dropped almost 3k on my new PC set up, I had the money, and anticipated, once I saw that at last, Sony layout controllers were available, along with most marquee console titles, that it would replace my consoles now, since the interface architecture, from a gameplay perspective, had aligned so much compared to even ten years ago, when I had my last gaming PC, yet alone 30 years ago when I had my first. The whole things is predicated on being able to have a Sony layout control platform. If I cannot, I have essentially given up my motorcycle savings, to buy a 3k piece of sh*t :sad: I am really hoping someone knows a fix. you're beyond helpful dude! I will try in steam, and yes, my controller is switched to X, that's the second thing that I tried ha~! I'll see if you're Steam set up suggestions help, I see you everywhere in here, they should pay you!!!!! (yes, and I am using 10.... god I wish I could use 7)

  18. That indeed was a fun quest. After six hours I returned with almost 7000 lbs of weapons, armor and dwemer metal. I'm keeping Clockwork and Silian Manor. Glad a couple of suggestions worked out for you. The guy who did Silian Manor and Frostvale Manor, had a bunch of cool medium houses that had his singular mastery of practicality a signature, but looking through his SSE uploads, it looks like he's sort of remade many of them, and replaced some with new builds, and hasnt uploaded the old ones. It's hard as hell to find those gems, but I am glad you got a couple out it.
  19. For real? I'll have to wait for SkyUI to update? I am assuming NFF too, right? So what, like, EVERY mod that's dependent on SKSE is gonna be borked until someone makes their updates?

So SKSE got an update, and I was prompted to update about this time yesterday (about 10 pm AEST), and so I did, and all was OK...ish.... seemingly.... a few instability issues I put down to custom followers like Hoth, Aurlyn, Vilja and Sofia, not playing nicely with NFF, and NFF not playing so nicely with Amorous Adventures......because nexus of those seemed to be where I needed to handle things carefully..... .....but this afternoon about 5 pm AEST I go to play before work, and I am met with an Update message, along the lines of SKSE needs a patch, and is not working, and as such my SkyUI is disabled, and then get one from NFF, telling me it's not working, my additionally follower slots, are 0, and I need to move NFF lower down my order (which I cant with out instantly crashing because it conflicts with something further down my load order). So I go grab SKSE AGAIN, and manually install it, paying special care, and it is all installed correctly, it's perfect, I double check all the available tutes and vids on manually installing it... and I have not made any mistakes....... ......but I am again told the same thing when I log on after work a few hours ago. I need help. I have no idea what to do, I NEED SKSE to work, as so much works off it, and I need my SkyUI as so much of my game depends on MCM menus. Where are these patches, where do I find them, do I need the patch to come from SKSE end, or from the other, from the differrent mods I have sides? How do I get my game working?

Also have a problem, it's not that it wont play, the game loads, but tells me there's been a patch since yesterday when I grabbed the first SKSE update, and SKSE wont work, until I install the patch. I dont see a Patch on the page, so I just redownload the whole thing, and put in the right place, and then I loaded back in to my game only to be to the very same thing. It also informed me both times that SkyUI or any SKSE64 dependent mods wont work until patched. How do I make it work? I am hoping, as someone relatively new to modding, this is not something I am going to have to go through evey few weeks with SKSE64!
  22. OK so, I'll say it right off the bat, NO, after 40 tears of gaming, Keyboard IS NOT the superior UI for gaming. I am about to ask a Gamepad related question, and if that's all you are going to reply then dont waste your time. Further, let me just say having played on PC on and off for all those years, SOME games like those specifically designed with the limited UI control options for PC in the early days, or some gameplay formulas, DO warrant a KB/M combo..... I'd never play an isometric RPG or a Sims game without one, not a Point&Click puzzler..... but the moment they decided to port console Games to PC in in the late 90s, as _PC technology got so advanced they did not have to sacrifice Computer functionality in other areas to be game friendly.... they ensured the KB/M UI was doomed to inferiority. So.. OK, that's out the way, now move on if you're not in to Controllers. OK folks, so I just bought a Logitech F310 Game Pad to game with. I deliberately bought this controller because it's of the Sony Type layout. This is very important, I have owned Xbox, PlayStattion, WiiU, and going back I have played or owned all the major Sega consoles until they stopped, and even got some action on an Attari Jaguar, and owned a Panasonic 3DO.....and the Sony layout, is absolutely, without question, THE best of them.....though I would say N64 was fantastic too, but I cannot find a modern new controller in N64 Layout. So I plug it in, and it's registering, and I find it ready to play, I hit some buttons... all works fine.... until I go to move. Then I cannot. Anyone who knows controllers knows that Microsoft use a Right Stick, D Pad, vertically offset L stick....system.... instead of the far better R-L joystick offset top left D pad of Sony. And now.....the game is FORCING me in to the Microsoft Controller gameplay UI. My D pad is move, and my left Joystick is SNEAK.... and in game there does seem to be any way to change this. HELP ME. I loved how much easier and more intuitive the gameplay UI was on my PS4, replaying SSE, than it was playing on my Xbox-360 playing LE. I need a way to make a F310 PS Layout controller, function as it is meant to, to have dual joystick movement controls, without having to use a stupid as EFF, offset L joystick. This is an incredibly popular and big selling game controller, so it HAS to be able to work as made, surely, anyone who can give any constructive suggestions please do.
  23. So if I went back through my mod DL's, and just reinstalled those sames mods, again, that I'd installed manually, with NMM, would that be a problem? I could do that, and have everything installed properly right? It would just ask to overwrite any files I manually installed, and that would mean it also installed anything I might have missed, yeah?
