  1. Wind skulked into the bushes and made his way to the tree line as the three templars argued. He picked up a rock and threw it behind them. One of them turned at the sound. "Hey guys, I heard something.." He said to the others, they all turned to look as the one in the rear moved towards the sound. At that moment Wind darted across the path behind them, moving as silently as his namesake. He leapt over the wall of bushes and landed behind them with barely a sound. He watched them, studied their armor and their movements. Remembering the weaknesses in their armor and the hesitations in their bodies, cataloging old battle-wounds. He spun his daggers around in his hands and prepared himself for the assault.
  2. The Courier sits in his motel room, his commlink chimes but he ignores it as he sits with his legs crossed and drinks a tall glass of scotch. He waited until the fifth chime to answer it. He picks up the device and hits the receive button. A computerized voice echoes in his ear. "Is this The Courier?" It asks, The Courier replies with a "Yes." The voice quiets for a moment then returns. "I have a job for you, meet my associate at the King Tavern in one hour. He will give you further details. Do not include the police or the government. If we see anyone that looks like that you will be cut down by a sniper do you understand." The Courier smirked, "Amateurs.." He thought as he confirmed it by hanging up. He had been in this business for sometime so he had received similar threats before. He walks calmly over to his bedroom and opens his suitcase. Inside was a set of suits, a pair of shoes. He unzips the back of the suitcase to reveal four pistols, a sawed off double barreled shotgun and an array of knives. He pulls out two of the colts and slides them into his under-arm holsters. Fixed to his chest rig was a spot for the double-barrel. He checks the chambers and slides it inside the holster. He pulls a leather gauntlet with a switchblade mounted to his from the case and latches it to his arm. He throws his coat on and ties a tie before he leaves, he checks out and informs the bellhop to send his suitcase to the lobby. He walks along the streets of Hope late at night, when a policeman asked him his business he flashed a fake government badge and they no longer asked questions. One even offered to escort him to his destination. He soon arrived to the bar. He walks inside and calls to the bartender. "I am here for Mr. Smith. The Bartender nods to the man at the end, The Courier taps his commlink and tips the bartender a hundred credits as he walks over to the contact. "Mr Smith. I am your Courier." He says with a slight smirk.
  3. Daniel drew his Mares Leg and fired it at the handle, the door opened and he went inside. the room had two walkers in it, he growled and drew his hunting knife. He charged the first Walker and drove the blade into his forehead. The second walker lunged at him, Daniel kicked it hard and it fell over. He stomped on its head and the half rotten head exploded in gore. 'Grab the ammo, get pistols rifles and shotguns..." He yelled as he ran into the back, after a few seconds he came out with a large duffle bag and began loading it with ammo boxes.
  4. Himura and Kushuri, waited nervously in their hotel room in Hope. Himura paced, chain smoking cigarettes while his wife Kushuri double checked the terminal for the forth time. "Calm down, The Courier will be here soon..." She said as her hands swiped over the holo-terminal's keyboard and she began entering commands into the computer. Himura fidgeted nervously as he paced. "Why isn't he here! The Government could knock down our door at anytime not to mention Secure-Corp. They want this data as much as we want it given to the people. This Courier is the best in the business but he's late!" Raged the japanese executive as he paced further. A knock came at the door, Himura leapt across the room and threw the door open, standing at the door wearing a fine suit and tie. The man was young with long dark hair slicked back over his head. A large bulge under his arm gave away the presence of a firearm. "I'm The Courier." He says as he steps into the room. "Is your equipment prepared?" he asks as he checks the windows and then the bathroom. Himura looks to his wife and she rolls her eyes. "Yes Mr. Courier...You're ready for the data transfer." She says as he hooks up the large headpiece that fit over his head and allowed him to transfer the data in his Head-Safe to a terminal or vice versa. He drew his firearm and set it on the table next to him as he sat down. "Remember, upon confirmation of the complete transfer of the package One million non-consecutive credits are to be transfered into the specified account or i delete the data and kill you..." He say coldly as he thumbs back the hammer on the pistol. Himura stares at him in terror, the cold calculating demeanor of the Courier frightened him to the bone. His mouth tried to form words but he just nodded his head. The Courier was satisfied with his response and placed the helmet on his head, he lifted the synthetic skin patch on the base of his neck to reveal a data-jack. He plugged the helmet in and his vision blanked out. Kushuri typed furiously as she confirmed the commands to begin the transfer. After some typing she nods to him. The Courier smiles and places a rubber bit in his mouth. "Hit me.." he says, he takes four heavy breathes and holds it as he closes his eyes. Kushuri hits the enter button and The Courier begins to shake and struggle as the data transfers into his brain, causing him to violently convulse. The data appeared in his eyes as it transfered into his brain, moving to fast to make sense of. After a few seconds the transfer was complete and the rush of the event left The Courier's heart pounding in his chest.. He unplugged himself and looked at his wrist, a small panel was built into his forearm that monitored his lifesigns and his head-safes status. It read "Completed, 100% of data installed." The Courier stood and picked up his pistol. "Transfer the funds and give me the location and name of the drop off." Himura pulled back his suit sleeve to reveal his arm-link and began typing on the pad. After a few seconds The Couriers own internal link dinged off as to the complete transfer, he thumbed the hammer forward and holstered it under his arm. "Whos the contact?" He asks as he straightens his suit. Himura stutters with his words and then finally found his courage. "Mr Barlow at the Carlton, penthouse." He says just as the door bursts in. "Police! Freeze!" Yelled the armored man as he entered, The Courier spun around and drew his pistols, firing both at once the rounds tore into his chest and dropped him before he could step in side. He turned to Kushuri and her eyes were red with tears. "I'm sorry I had to..." The Courier growled with anger and put a bullet through her head and a second through the window behind him, Three more officers entered and began opening fire. The rounds tore the hotel room apart, bullets peppering the walls and destroying the electronics, Himura took a round to the heart and dropped. The Courier bolted for the window and dove through, fifteen stories up. He counted until three and then reached up under his coat to the gravity reverser mounted on his shoulder rig. He began his slow fall and landed on the roof of a police van. He stood and smirked as he corrected his suit and stepped off onto the street and vanished into an alley.

  6. Daniel knocks an arrow and steps off the bus, "Lucy when I bang on this door I want you to open it..." he says as he steps through and draws his bow, he fires an arrow that sinks into the skull of a Walker and drops it. "Arrow shafts, heads or bowstrings. Just grab whatever you can..." He yells as he draws another two arrows and knocks them both, he pulls the bowstring back and fires, the arrows sink deep into two walkers skulls and they both flop to the ground.

  9. Daniel floored the pedal and crashed through the fence after squashing a Walker. "Were headed to the gun store first..." He yelled over the roar of the engine as he changed gears.
  10. Wind watched the lights, it flickered in and out of view. He smiled once he realized what it was. "It's a lantern...someone with a lantern.." He said as he reversed his grip on his twin Crow-Blades and threw his cloak over his shoulder. The dark cloak covered much of his body, leaving only his lower legs and hooded head visible.
  11. Daniel revved the engine of the bus. "Logan get aboard!" He yelled, the girl told him of the military. "Tell them we need an extraction for twenty children and three adults, tell them to give us the location of a safe Landing Zone and we will meet them there." He told her as he waited for Logan to get aboard.
  12. Jingle happily played his lute as three drunken men strode by, the tallest pointed and laughed at the halfling. "Hey, midget! Play me a song worthy of my beautiful ears!." He said as he staggered about. Jingle was well known for being a peace loving halfling but he did not have time for drunken bullies and the pubs of the wider world seemed to attract bullies over people just enjoying the night. "Do you have gold, my music isn't for free.." He asked as he stopped playing. The man and his buddies laughed, one drew a knife and held it out at the halfling. Jingle smiled as he land silently and quickly slid into his coat and relieved the bully of his coin purse as he threatened him. "You will play because I tell you to or I will kill you!" He growled as he held the knife out towards the bard. Jingle complied by standing up, as he did he flipped the lute in his hand and smiled. "Well my good sir I will tell you this, duck..." He said to the man, the bully looked at him oddly just before Jingle bashed him across the head with his lute, giving a hollow and profane sound like symbols crashing into a wagon of drums. The bully hit the dirt hard, his mates each drew their blades. Jingle smiled wide and drew a pair of small daggers from his sleeves and leapt from the back of the wagon with a flip over their heads and landed behind them. "Come and get me you sheep humping scum suckers!" he taunted as he smirked. The first man looked to the second and he charged, swinging his knife wildly. Jingle danced around his attacks and followed up with a sharp kick to the mans knee that put him down. Jingle leapt onto the man and smiled, holding his knives with an inversed grip. The second man dropped his blade and ran just as two town guardsmen came running onto the scene. The one wearing a red sash across his chest smiled and nodded. "Jingle Trapdodger, I remember you..." Said the guard as his colleague arrested the two men. Jingle smiled and sheathed his two daggers in his arm sheathes. "Hello Captain Brackenbrook, good to see you again. How's the wife?" He asked, remembering a few months ago he was asked to help the town guard with a goblin problem. Brackenbrook smiled as he picked up the injured man. "She's good, if your in town long come on by...she wants to have dinner with you.." He said as he nodded to his partner and they left. Jingle picked up his lute and ran his hand along the flawless wood, "Ironwood, nearly unbreakable and still makes a beautiful sound." He said as he tuned the lute and waited for his employer to finish her business.
  13. Baldur brought it on himself, he couldn't keep his temper and it burned him. We will just move on with our fun and excellent RP. Thank you Dante for solving a headache for me, he was getting out of control.
  14. Daniel ran at full speed towards the bus, he leapt out of the doors and vaulted the railing, his feet planted firmly on the ground and he ran. He knew that if he was going to get them out of here alive they would need weapons and food. He took a spot in the drivers seat and went through four pairs of keys before he was able to find the right set. "Ok, lets pray this thing works.." He said as he turned the key and the engine started joyfully. He smiled and hit the reverse gear and backed them out, he knocked over a trashcan. "Never drove one of these before, I've driven a Stryker but never one of these." He said as he kicked the gear into first and drove through the school fence and onto the road. "Ok, we need food and guns. That means grocery store and police station...which is closest?" He yelled out to the rest.
  15. Jingle stopped playing as he realized the brawl he had inadvertently set off erupted into warfare, he thumbed his cap up onto his head and smiled, a knife from inside the brawl stuck into the wall just above his head and pinned his hat against the wall. Jingle ducked and looked up to see his hat ruined. "Damn it all, that was my best hat..." He said as he dropped off his chair and grabbed his things, the brawl had begun to get worse. It wouldn't be long before the town guard would arrive. He snaked through legs as he walked through the door, he was surprised to find a seed-cake on the ground and casually picked it up and ate it as he made his way through the brawl. One man took a flying flagon of ale to the face and hit the ground in front of Jingle, he noticed the man was knocked cold and decided to relieve him of his fine cap with a long pheasant feather stuck in the band. He joyfully picked up the cap and stuck it on his head as he walked out of the tavern. He noticed his employer had left but they left their baggage here, Kurashi still snored loudly as he laid in the back of the wagon. Jingle shrugged and sat on the back of the wagon as he ate his seed-cake and strummed his lute. "Sing ho for a brave and a gallant ship, And a fast and favoring breeze. With a bully crew and a captain to. To carry me over the seas, To carry me over the seas me boys, To my true love far away. For I'm taking a trip on a Government ship Ten thousand miles away." He sang as he strummed a lively tune and kicked his feet as he played, remembering his times in Wayrest, a small port town far to the east. The adventures he had aboard the the Rusty Cutlass and her Captain Lucinda Marie.
  16. Wind smiled, he pulled a dagger from his belt and spun it around in his fingers. "Lets go see what or who made that scream...you comin' Isabela?" He said as he started walking, with his eyes adapted to the darkness of night he was able to track better.
  17. Baldur if you have issues you dont have to go along with nintii, try remaking your character and bringing her into Flips, Ghostdoggs and my RP area. You make very interesting and off the wall characters. Flipout is really enjoying his crazy guy character. I have to admit he is pretty awesome with it.
  18. Ronin slid a hand through his braids and smiled. "The more you treat her like a child, the more she doesn't want to listen to you..." He thought as he slid a arrow on his bowstring. "I'm going hunting...anyone want to come?" He asked, normally he would just leave but he didn't really want to.
  19. Daniel drew his knife and charged, "All this shooting will just attract more." He thought as he dived over the office counter, he came around a corner and a Walker lunged at him. Daniel moved out of the way and brought his knife down on the Walker's skull. He looked around, his heart beating like war drums and he saw the keys on the rack not far away. He grabbed all of them and pulled his knife free of the dead walker. "Lets go!" He yelled as he vaulted the counter. He put a toe under his bow and kicked it up to his hands, he drew two arrows and notched them and fired, both arrows sunk into the faces of a pair of walkers and they dropped lifelessly. "Get to the bus! I'll be right behind you!" He yelled as he rapidly notched and fired three more. One after another they each found a place on a Walker's skull.
  20. "We open the door and kill them all." He said as he drew his knife and slid it between the chains around the handles of the door. He put his foot on the door and pulled. The knife effortlessly ripped the handles from the doors and they swung open. "Fire!' He yelled and leveled his Mares Leg at the nearest Shambler and fired, the bullet stuck him in the skull and parted his head down the hairline.
  21. Jingle sat in a chair not far away, his bare feet suspended in the air on the table and he played a lively tune on his lute as he sang. "Oh come along all you sailor lads and listen to my plea. And when I am finished you'll agree I was a goddamned fool in the port of Shiverpool, The first time that I came home from sea, We was paid off at The Hove from a port called Sydney Cove And two crown ten a month was all my pay: Oh I started drinking gin and was neatly taken in. By a little girl they all called Maggie May" He sang, the crowd began to cheer and sing along, Loudwater and Shiverpool were famous towns for sailors. He smiled as he played and continued. "Oh Maggie, Maggie May they have taken you away. To slave upon that cold Van Diemen shore, Oh you robbed so many sailors and also lots of whalers You'll never cruise down Lime Street any more" He sang, the bar had been full of sailors and everyone of them knew this song. Two humans begun to fight one another and the brawl erupted in beer and blood, spilling over tables and other patrons. "Twas a damned unlucky day when I first met Maggie May She was cruising up and down old Canning Place. Oh she had a figure fine as a warship of the line, And me being a sailorman I gave chase; In the morning when I woke stiff and sore and stoney broke. No , trousers, coat, or waistcoat could I find The landlady said 'Sir I can tell you where they are They'll be down in Stanley's hock-shop number nine." He sang, his fingers playing the lively tune expertly and his large bare foot tapping the air to the beat of the music. "To the bobby on his beat at the corner of the street, To him I went to him I told my tale. He asked me as if in doubt 'Does your mother know you're out?' But agreed the lady ought to be in jail. To the hock-shop I did go but no trousers there I spied, So the bobbies came and took the girl away. The jury guilty found her for robbing a homeward bounder And paid her passage to Botany Bay."
  22. Daniel took his bow and flipped it around in his hand and slid and arrow onto the bowstring. "Thanks.." He said as he ran at the door to the school, he gave it a sharp kick and it swung open. He drew back the bowstring and found his target. One of the thuggish teenagers had turned, He loosed the arrow. Like a screaming bat it cut the air and went through the shambling corpses head and stuck into the wall behind it. He quickly drew another arrow and notched it when a small group appeared around the corner, he found his mark and fired. The arrow hit the teenagers eye, he notched a third arrow and drew it back. The muscles in his arms tensing, holding the pent up power. Years of training as a child to handle a bow. Every year the bows got stronger and so did he, his grandfather drilling him endlessly in the ways to stalk, hunt, fight with a knife and ride. When he drew his bow again to hit his last target he froze, ten feet in front of him was the shambling remains of Katie. He had not known her long but he could feel his heart fill with despair. "By the bones of my forefathers, the spirits of my ancestors I give you the merciful embrace of the spirit world..." He said in Navajo as he drew his arrow and fired, the raven fletched arrow sank to the fletchings in her skull and she dropped lifelessly. Daniel sighed, he retrieved his arrows and sped through the hallways, he found the main office to see it locked. But that wasn't the worst part. There were five walkers inside, he pulled his radio from his pocket and clicked the talk button. "Logan, office is full of walkers. I need your help." He said as he drew his Mares Leg.
  23. Daniel, walked over to one of the buses, he drew his Mares Leg and opened the door quietly. He felt his heart pounding inside his chest as he looked down the rows of seats. Comfortable the bus was empty he opened the back hatch and waved them all over. "Come on, lets get going!" He yelled as he saw the sun begin to set in the distance. He sat in the drivers seat and looked around for the keys, he checked under the seat and in the ignition but nothing. He growled as he climbed out of the bus. "Ok, get the kids on board, I'm going for the keys they must have spares in the main office." He said as he approached.
  24. Ronin watched this event in silence, He knew the trouble they were facing. The young girl was terrified and armed but she wasn't emotionally mature to handle a firearm, the brotherhood member was cold-hearted and needed a lesson in humility but time may see to that. The girl clad in purple was a zealot, no better then the people she hunted. But then again what disturbed Ronin was he was a piece of each and everyone of these people. The only sane one is the ghoul and most people consider ghouls to be borderline insane. "Irony is such a fickle thing..." he said to himself, things had gotten out of hand quickly but atleast noone was killing each other yet.
