  1. Listening to some Pantera - 13 Steps To Nowhere while kill some Vampires, Trolls, Bandits and Giants in Skyrim! Neighbors might get mad, but I don't care!
  2. Thank you, it looks great, I don't see anything that needs changed. It seems rather perfect. I am going to give it a try as soon as I can. It's fantastic that Hearthfire is compatible - a lot of mods end up having trouble with it. If I have any problems, I'll let you know in the comments of the mod. Thank you again. I appreciate this a lot.
  3. You're welcome, Tracy. I really hope this gets made. Thank you for the reply. Basically I would like to have the fireplace in the wall - to the right - as soon as you come into Breezehome, to the right of where the Firepit usually is. The chairs don't need to be moved, maybe you can put a rug in the place of where the Firepit is, so that it doesn't feel empty there. That's really all Breezehome needs in my opinion. I'm not sure what you mean by useless boxes. When I have Breezehome, I do not have any useless boxes anywhere - those are usually there when you have not bought the home, and instead used the console to get into it - which also leaves cobwebs.
  4. So you want a mod that will let you build a home, and you have hearthfire? If that's what you're asking then, it's not needed - because Hearthfire has that already. Speak to the Yarl of Falkreath, if you play a little bit past Highrothgar on the main quest, a Courier will find you and give you a note from him, and if you read it you'll be directed to go to Falkreath and talk to the Yarl there, and you will have to do what he tells you to do, to get the plot of land to build your house, then you have to craft the materials you need from the Blacksmith, and then build it. I never tried to build it, but I did get far enough to actually get the plot of land, and then I checked out the spot, and looked at what I could craft to make the home in the Blacksmith menu. If you're not talking about that, then maybe you just want a mod that lets you build a home, without Hearthfire, because you don't want to play it anymore? Or something... I don't know. This isn't very clear. But this is what I found: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18480
  5. I want to request just removing the Firepit in Breezehome, and putting a Fireplace inside the wall - instead of the way it is now. No other changes. But it must be fully working, and compatible with Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn - it seems a lot of folks are having a hard time getting their Breezehome mods working with Hearthfire without problems, there just has to be someone out there that can do it - but only making a subtle change. It doesn't need to be all decked out with crazy stuff. I just find it immersion breaking to have a fire pit on the floor. I find when I'm roleplaying, I think about "What if my character, or my followers fall into the firepit and die." - for immersion, it makes no sense to have a firepit in the middle of your living room, in fact the heat would burn rugs and other stuff if it's anywhere near by, it's just a hazard waiting to happen (if it was real - and roleplaying is meant to make you go into character and when you do that, it's as if it is real). I know there are mods that do this, but they don't do JUST that. I don't know how to do it myself, otherwise I wouldn't be requesting. I hope someone can do it, thank you.
  6. I was wondering if I could request a mod that does this: 1) When a giant, or larger than you creature attacks you, you should get knocked back, or literally flopped ontop the ground, and have to get back up before you can fight again. If you don't have enough defense against the attack, it can be devistating - so stragety needs to be used when fighting larger creatures/NPCs - but dynamically (different level of powerful knockback/down and slower getting up, and farther knockback per size - The bigger they are, the harder you get hit and the more powerful the knockback/down and the slower you will get up) 2) The larger they are, the slower they will swing to hit you. 3) Have MCM configuration options for maximum compatibility with other mods - by letting the user configure what features of the mod to use, how to use them, when to use them - basically configure every aspect of the mod in MCM - so that patches for other mods won't need to be made. Can this be possible to do? And if so, is anyone interested in it? I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it myself - I have tried.
  7. Well, what I meant was take the meshes and textures from Guild Wars 2, and then put them in this game, and only make subtle changes too make them fit well into the world of Skyrim. That's all I was requesting. But if that's not possible then maybe recreating them is the way to go, which I'll then want to request that. I will try to contact the author of those 2 mods. It's the only way I know how to find the author on the site, is by searching the mod since searching mod authors doesn't seem to find anything. The search on the site isn't exactly very well done anyway... there is 2 mods so far that I cannot find by searching for them on the site, I always have to Google them, and I have used the full name, exactly typed the way it is on the site, yet it doesn't know what I'm searching for... that to me seems like a flaw in the way it works.
  8. A very ambitious project I know, but I was wondering if someone could possibly port over Guild Wars 2 Race Armors please? I think the Norn Armors would go well in Skyrim, and I'd like to be able to wear some of the light ones with a Nord Spellsword character. What do you guys think, can it be done?
  9. Fantastic. The only thing I think still needs work on the already completed ones you shared there, is the fur on the shoulders, it doesn't look like fur - it looks like crinkled plastic. I'm not trying to be mean, just giving you good feedback so you can get better.
  10. The video done here by Gopher: You notice how when he casts the horse mod he has, how he moves when he casts it, and the animation of his body when doing it? I am requesting a mod that changes summing something to do that! I wanna look like I'm consentrating my abilities on it, just like in that video. It bothers me that you just INSTANTLY summon something. I don't want to instantly do it, I want it to seem more realistic. There may already be a mod that does that, but I cannot find it. If you know of it, please share it here. Thank you.
  11. Thanks guys for all the tips and help. I believe this thread is old now, but I am going to update a post right now. I'm not going to mess with the original post, it's not a good idea in case others experience the same problem. But I am having a minor issue that I can't yet figure out how to fix. I am happy with the mods I have, and the way they are setup, the only thing that I can't get my head around is why the MQ104 quest called Dragon Rising, will never begin after I give the dragonstone to Farengar. I have actually sit there and waited for an entire day (reality, not in game day) and it still NEVER occurred. I'm not sure what to do about it, that is why I am posting here again, in hopes that folks will help me with the issue. I am sure I have a different set of mods than I had when I originally posted. Shortly, I'll update this post here, with my new set of mods that I have. I have tried disabling one mod at a time to find the culprit, but I got no where. If you can help me, I appreciate it.
  12. Then maybe I'm missing something but I doubt it. I don't know. But I am pretty sure I did everything mentioned, and have no luck. I am also a little slow and have a hard time learning anything, always have.
  13. I actually did most of that already, so I did the rest that I never heard of, and the game still crashes when I'm near a wolf, or near the road outside of Whiterun where the Giant is being attacked. Apparently a mod is conflicting, I just don't know which one and why.
  14. I seem to have crashing near a wolf every time as well. Rarely, I'll be able to get past a wolf and it won't crash. In fact I started a Dark Elf this morning, and the 3 wolves that are always on the path to Riverwood, came after me at the mine on the same path, instead of being there. As if they could sense me from miles away and attacked me, but no crash. Then after I gathered the first quest to get the Golden Claw back, on my way up the path to Bleakfalls Barrow, 1 wolf is always there, and I tried to avoid it, by going around on rocks, and missing it, but as soon as I was I have no idea how many feet from it, it crashed... this is very very frustrating, and I can't for the life of me figure out what mod is causing it if any. I even have this problem on Vanilla Skyrim. I trued off all the VRAM eating features of the Video Settings on Skyrim, using my Graphics Card, however... that didn't help, it just makes the game not look very pretty anymore. I do not have the same mods you do, and I do not have All in 1 Spell Fixes mod, I haven't even heard of it. So I am at a loss. I am posting here because this is almost identical to what my problem is, just not the same mods. I can't remember how to find the text file that shows all my mods so I can paste here...
  15. I know there is 1 mod that makes it, but it makes it based on the comics, or the movie style armor. And that's cool and all, but it doesn't go with the midieval, norse old world kind of look. It just wouldn't have been made with the technology available then. So it makes more sense to make something like this, if you look at the image here, you'll see a blueprint kind of design to showcase what I am talking about, and how it should be made. I would like for it to be kind of tough to get, and presumably placed with a questline IN or very close to the END of the game, for consistancy: http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs48/i/2009/224/7/d/Extreme_Thor_by_kameleon84.jpg As you can see, it's more lore-friendly even though Thor isn't even part of the storyline, but if you look at lore-friendly meaning the same thing I do, then it makes sense. If you're not sure, take another look, look closely, and read the little notations about each part on the blueprint. Another concept: http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/127/9/2/asgardian_armor_for_skyrim_2_by_zerofrust-d4yt56a.jpg There is only 1 part I would change in it to some degree and that would be the futuristic kind of aspect to it, that is mentioned there in a box shape. I notice that it would be okay to do that, with the technology they had, but from calling it futuristic, that wouldn't be fitting. So it's a little tough to get the right look when trying to go that way. There are various ways to go about this, and I'd like to get some comments on this that are lore-friendly, and have good ideas about it and I hope someone takes the project on, as I'm not capable yet. I am still learning how to do this stuff, I won't start until I know I can do it.
  16. Well, the problem is I have no idea if the card I buy will go well with my system. I have bought cards in the past, that my computer couldn't keep up with, and now that computer itself is no longer functional. As for the mother board, I don't really know what manufacturer it is. I know almost nothing about hardware. I'm more of a software guy. But I think it's made by the company on the disc for my MSDOS, but I don't know where I put it. I am unorganized.
  17. Thanks, I appreciate it. I know that the graphics card isn't that great and I actually have plans to replace it. I just don't know what card I can get that would do better for me, and would work with my system the way it is. I don't want to get a card that will not work with my computer very well. I don't know much about hardware at all.
  18. Yes I have and 86% of the ram is free while Skyrim runs according to the results. CPU usage says that it's at 26%, which isn't much at all. I spent about a month troubleshooting the problem, I use to have a lot worse problems. I have repaired all of the other problems, the only problem I have now is studdering.
  19. I already said, that I have already done that. None of the mods are causing it.
  20. I actually have already done that, the mods I use has no conflicts.
  21. You're right about the shadows, shadows in most games are very taxing, in this case it's the CPU it's taxing, not the GPU, but still worth lowering, which I have done. I have even tried turning them off entirely, and it doesn't fix anything.
  22. I've done everything mentioned so far, and nothing has helped yet. I have had it work smoothly before. I notice that I don't get any issues at all if I don't run ANY MODS at all and just the Vanilla Game. But the Vanilla Game is ugly and atrociously awkward to me. I don't use any heavy mods though, but I do have a lot of mods, mostly script changes though, with SKSE and SkyUI, nothing too outrageous anymore. Yeah, I'm not sure why this graphics card is in this computer, it was labeled as a Gaming Computer from a Gaming Computer Manufacturer... and was bought directly from them. It's one of the poorman gaming PC's. They always use cards that aren't really for gaming. However, I have a hard time believing that my graphics card could ever be an issue considering Skyrim is mostly CPU heavy, because it was designed for Consoles, and Consoles have a beast CPU, and a s*** GPU, and it's opposite for computers, most of the time, from what I gather on the net doing a Google Search. I run at the max resolution that my monitor will support. I kind of mismatched things, so instead of using the monitor that came with the computer, I bought an Alienware Monitor, which works really well with my system, and right now the only game I can't play smoothly, without having to compromise with graphics, is Skyrim - anything else I can run no problem, no headaches, no frustration. My resolution of choice is 1920 x 1080. I've tried lowering it, it doesn't help at all, it just makes the game look s***, I've tried playing in Window Mode, it helps some, but still get studders sometimes... it's very annoying. It seems as if there just isn't a solution available... and it makes me so furious at times. All I wanna do is play the game I spent $60 dollars on when it came out, smoothly and still have it look good - I'm not able to comprehend why that is NOT OK with the game engine and my PC... NOTE: I currently have 129 mods, a while back I use to have over 300 mods installed. I lowered it specifically because I was unable to play with that many mods. Wrye Bash is too daunting for me to bother getting into, all the frustration trying to figure out, has rendered me totally pissed off, so I just left it alone.
  23. I had no idea you could do that. Could you tell me how to do that please? All I could find was making Steam go into Offline Mode, but that didn't fix anything. I actually have done those things, the computer is running fine, everything is running like there is no problem. I also did a driver re-install, I did a clean install of the driver, meaning no loose files left behind by simply installing over the current. I deleted the INI files, and had steam re-download them. I have the graphics settings turned down to Low right now, still studders like hell. I'm not sure what else to do. Since I already know my computer is more than capable of running it, I don't think posting my specs would be much. But if someone that is knowledgeable about these sort of things, strongly suggest I do, to get the help I need, then I will. I think I also updated my specs on my profile here as well.
